Mobile Fortress Saratoga ~Silvery Sword Princess Became My Servant.
Episode 112: I see the universe.
By the time Nanashi arrives in Pericles, it is already late at night and downtown Pericles is quiet.
Nanashi thinks as he climbs the stairs in Pericles Castle killing footsteps.
Milia's execution is tomorrow at noon.
The time left is about half a day. I don't have much time.
Fortunately, Schmelvi, an expert in magic, is supposed to have Pericles stay just in case until Xaragi's soul wakes up.
In the middle of the night, Nanashi knocked on the room where Shumelvi was staying, wondering if Shumelvi would also know who the magical things of oblivion hung by Saratoga's crew were.
"Ha no, who?
The voice of the sweet whoever put it on his nose.
Slightly late, the door opened.
With his face on his face, Schmelvi, when he sees the look of Nanasi outside the door, perceives that something is going on, and when he stretches his expression, he invites Nanasi to the room to "come in".
If it's her personality, usually, she felt that the night crawl here was supposed to make fun of the scattered Nanashi thing, but not the other way around.
Schmelvi's nightwear, which I have seen glimpse of in Saratoga in the past, is purple see-through. Although it was quite remarkable, she didn't seem to bring it to the boulder until nightwear, and now her outfit is quite wild. It seems like she has a wide range of shorts (tunics). I guess she borrows someone's stuff, too. Because the size is not right, an appliqué that follows the face of a bear applied to his chest is pushed from left to right by a rich puffiness, making him look like a creepy pepperfish he wants to flatten.
But not if you're always distracted by that.
When he entered the room, Nanashi cut off his breath weir and curled what had happened earlier.
At first, Schmelvi stared at Nanashi like that with a surprising look on his face. But that look gradually becomes more difficult as the story progresses.
- Eventually,
"Not a very, but not an easy story to believe. Wow."
He also said that he was trying to keep explaining Nanashi.
"Sure, you may not believe it, but it's true. In an instant, everyone in Saratoga forgot about Miriam."
"No, I don't think so."
"No? What is it?
"I don't know about your daughter, Miriam, either."
Cold things slip down Nanashi's back.
Staring at Nanashi, who stood up with his eyes open, Schmelvi further tells him.
"Kirie, no, I've never heard of a sister other than a pillow (Chloe) and no..."
"Such an idiot! Remind me very carefully, Mr Schmelvi!
Nanashi floats a desperate shape.
In contrast, Schmelvi lays her eyes down and shakes her head small.
"… so if, as Nanashi said, oblivious magic means that everyone has forgotten about their daughter, instead of Saratoga, until this Pericles, that's how much the entire capital city will be kept within its reach. I can't do that. In the first place, you have to contact the magic of oblivion to hang it."
"But that's actually happening!
Nanashi caught on Schmelvi's shoulder by accident. Schmelvi continues the conversation without even showing a bare gesture to care about it.
"And no, there's another impossible thing."
"What?
"If there was a magic of oblivion that could be done without contact, how can Nanashi-kun, who should have been in the same range of effects as the forgotten people, remember that Miriam is about her daughter?
"It's... I don't know"
"It would be...... So exploring the possibilities, it is more likely that Nanashi-kun has been planted with false (...) memories (...). I wish I had come to that conclusion."
Nanashi is stunned, letting go of his hand from Schmelvi's shoulder and falling back.
"Oh no... this memory is fake? That should be..."
"Can you say there isn't? Compared to erasing dozens or hundreds of memories at the same time, it's easier to plant memories for one person, Nanashi."
◇ ◆ ◇ ◆ ◇ ◆
An open deck on the upper floor of Pericles.
There was a shadow of a man walking by the swimming pool provided there in a fluttering and indelible foothold.
After leaving Schmelvi's room, Nanasi did not feel comfortable returning to the VIP room he had been applauded for, and felt breathless and climbed this far in search of outside air.
The dark night-colored eyes fade into deep depression and the light of will that is supposed to dwell there is too weak.
Not looking up into the sky, but looking down powerlessly at the swinging stars on the water (all of them) of the pool, shaking their drooping arms without force.
Is Miriam's smile in my memory not there, even with her hands up, just like the stars on this surface of water...
Intolerably quiet night.
With a deep sigh, he sat perched by the stone pool, and Nanashi was just looking out at the wind swinging water.
"Sir."
From around the entrance of the open deck, I heard a voice calling Nanashi.
But Nanashi doesn't respond in particular either. I don't have that energy. I just keep staring at the water quietly.
It was Maraine who called about Nanashi.
Her white skin and white hair are reflected on the starlit waters.
"Anything wrong?
Walking up to just beside Nanashi, who sits down, Maraine crouches herself down and peeks into Nanashi's face. I don't see Tricia, the substitute housekeeper (maid) I'm always with.
As always, Nanashi inquires as he stares blurredly at the stars that appear on the surface of the water.
"Mr. Maraine, what's going on at this hour?
"I saw my husband coming up here... from"
"Mr. Malene... when Mio's acquittal was decided, you said instead that the housekeeper (maid) would be sentenced to death."
Maraine shrugs her neck small in a slightly bewildered manner.
"Sorry...... dude. I don't remember that..."
"Really..."
Nanashi lays her eyes down quietly.
A good look would have shown that its body is shaking small.
"Sir... I think I'm tired"
"Does that look like it? Apparently, I'm now being enchanted and danced to memories I don't have."
Nanashi spins words with a self-derisive look.
"It's a memory of a girl. It's all fake memories of being stripped naked early on when we met, of fighting to protect her, and of being about to break my finger telling me to take care of myself."
"Learn more about the area stripped naked!
All of a sudden, Maraine brings her face closer to eating in.
Nanashi was a little freaked out by Maraine, who suddenly started talking clearly.
But when I try to line it up like this, when it comes to memories, it's just memories that aren't even swallows and locks. If you want to plant it anyway, I want you to plant some more good memories.
"Even though I know it's a fake memory, in the corner of my head, I keep hearing that girl scream 'Help'. In fact, something screams desperately in the back of my chest that my daughter exists."
Nanashi buried his face in the knee he held and was drooled.
After staring at Nanashi's figure, Maraine crawls to the front of Nanashi and stands on her knees as she pulls her mouth together.
"It's okay."
With that one word, Malene pinches Nanashi's cheek with her small hands.
Nanashi slowly raising her face.
Malene smiled slightly blushing her cheeks.
"The daughter doesn't have to be here, but my husband has me"
So whispered Maraine, trying to hold Nanashi's head in her arms and hugging her to her chest.
Nanashi can't even raise her voice to the sudden event, but she stays.
Soft feeling on both cheeks. Warmth. Sweet aroma that tickles the nasal cavity.
I can hold him perfectly and breathe painfully. But it smells good.
What is this soft?
... This is the universe? I see the universe. Big Bang?
Nanashi was a mayhem.
Less so than Schmelvi, Maraine's chest is significantly richer than her entire body's development.
There have been times in the past when Kirier has overheld Nanashi's head, but the feel is as different as feathers and iron plates.
When you see that Nanashi doesn't resist, you can happily hold Nanashi's head with even more force.
A while later, when Nanashi began to feel the presence of heaven up close, mainly in an oxygen-supplying sense, Nanashi suddenly felt a horrible sign behind his back, shaking his body with a victory.
