Chapter 940: Barging Into His Conference Room
Ethan Grant’s car was parked outside the mall. He opened the door and let Serena Sullivan in first, followed by Finn Chandler.
"Where to?"
Inside the car, Serena asked Finn.
Finn leaned back against his seat and said in a flat tone, "The Ford Corporation!"
"Alright!"
Ethan responded for Serena. He could tell Finn was in a terrible mood; it looked like there would be a good show with Julian Ford later.
Finn had been to The Ford Corporation, and as soon as she arrived, the people at The Ford Corporation greeted her.
She went straight to the elevator and headed to the top floor to find Julian Ford.
Julian’s secretary received the call and was already waiting at the elevator door.
"Julian Ford is in a meeting!"
It was not a question to the secretary, but a confirmation.
The secretary was taken aback and said, "Yes."
"Mr. Ford has been in a meeting since the morning, and it’s still ongoing."
"Is it still going on?" Finn asked again.
The secretary thought Finn was impressive—she guessed it right every time.
Last time Finn came, she wandered around the top floor of The Ford Corporation, so she knew where Julian was having the meeting.
She walked to the meeting room where Julian Ford was, and the secretary thought she would wait in the office. But when Finn was about to open the door, before the secretary could stop her, someone inside opened the meeting room door.
When Fiona Ford saw Finn at the door, her face instantly darkened.
"What are you doing here!"
Finn glared coldly at Fiona and replied, "Looking for Julian Ford."
"You can’t go in."
Of course, Fiona knew Finn was looking for Julian, and she reached out to block Finn’s way.
"Julian’s meeting right now is very important; you can’t go in and disturb him."
"Secretary, take her to the meeting room."
"Do I need your permission to see my own husband?"
Finn straightened her back and coldly questioned.
"Husband?" Fiona sneered, truly shameless.
She was about to retort when Finn raised her hand and slapped her.
The slap came too suddenly; Fiona tried to dodge, but she was still hit and fell sideways.
"Are you crazy!"
Fiona shouted angrily after being hit.
Finn didn’t bother to waste words with her, she directly pushed Fiona aside and barged in.
Fiona turned her head to see Finn already inside. She clenched her fist, her heart filled with rage.
If it weren’t for others watching, and if it weren’t in The Ford Corporation, would she have let Miss Flinch hit her with this slap?
Fiona took a deep breath, her eyes instantly reddened again, and then she turned around to follow into the meeting room, tears almost falling from her eyes.
"Miss Flinch, you can’t go in."
She called out.
The Finn who couldn’t go in was already inside.
The directors in the meeting room frowned as they saw Finn suddenly enter.
Who is this woman, so indiscreetly barging in?
"Julian Ford!"
Finn ignored the sharp looks from these people and went straight to Julian, "I need to talk to you."
Julian had been in the meeting for a long time; he just heard the commotion outside but didn’t know Finn had arrived.
Seeing her come in, he softened his voice and asked, "What’s wrong?"
"I need to talk to you now!"
Finn said again.
"Julian."
Fiona urgently spoke up from behind; she stepped forward, the blush on her cheeks visible to the people in the meeting room, with her eyes even reddening more, causing people to feel strange and sympathetic.
The eldest daughter of The Ford Family had always been tough—why did her eyes suddenly get red, looking like she had been hit?
"Miss Flinch insisted on seeing you, I couldn’t stop her."
"Chloe, this meeting is important. Don’t be capricious; whatever it is, wait until Julian finishes the meeting to talk."
Finn couldn’t be bothered with Fiona, she mocked, "If we wait until he finishes, he’ll have to bail me out from the police station."
