The first thing Anton did before leaving his room was cast an Invisibility spell. He didn’t want to be bothered by the crew, who would insist that he return to his room if they saw him wandering around.
Anton knew that if he suddenly barged into the middle of the battle between the Kraken and the ship’s wizards, they might scold him. He really had no intention of joining the fight. He only wanted to steal a tentacle or two.
He noticed that the Kraken’s attack was happening on the northeast side of the ship. Anton stealthily made his way there, hoping he could find a deck that would allow him to see the Kraken.
The ship was still caught in the middle of the storm, and combined with the Kraken’s attack, the situation would have been disastrous if Melinda had been an ordinary ship. Unfortunately for the sea monsters, the strength of the wizards protecting the ship was too great for them to cause any serious damage.
Anton eventually managed to enter one of the decks. There, he discovered that Melinda was being attacked by two Krakens, which greatly delighted him. With sixteen tentacles thrashing around, he was certain that he would be able to steal one without the other wizards noticing.
He waited patiently inside the deck, and when three tentacles came close to him, Anton struck one of them with the Warlock spell, Echoing Strike.
He immediately picked up the severed tentacle and stored it in his inventory. Then, he cast Invisibility again and rushed out of the deck, making his way back to his room. He hoped that the combination of the storm and the two Krakens would allow him to escape the notice of the powerful wizards aboard the ship.
While returning to his room, Anton wondered why he was so cautious about being discovered. He knew that even if the wizards realized he had attacked a Kraken to obtain one of its tentacles, they probably wouldn’t do anything to him. They might scold him for interfering without warning, but that would likely be the extent of it.
More than anything, Anton realized that he was probably just making the situation more dramatic in his mind to make his actions seem more exciting than they actually were.
Once he returned to his room, Anton examined the tentacle he had obtained. Judging by its size, it contained roughly two tons of fresh seafood meat.
He decided that after the storm passed, he would share the Kraken tentacle with his friends. Since the ship was still trapped in the storm, Anton thought it would be best to simply sleep.
The next morning, after waking up, he summoned Paul and Eric using one of his raven summons. He wanted to hear what had happened the previous night, and he guessed that the two of them would already know the details.
When Paul and Eric arrived, Anton invited them into his room.
“Do you have any news about what happened last night?”
“Do you not know?” Eric asked.
“I spent the entire time sleeping,” Anton said with a shrug, causing Eric to laugh.

“During the storm, our ship was attacked by two giant Krakens. The ship’s wizards drove away the sea monsters after around thirty minutes of fighting,” Paul explained with a shrug.
“That’s it?”
“There’s not much more to say. It was expected since our ship has a large number of wizards protecting it. No one was injured, and according to the rumors I heard, they even managed to take one of the Kraken’s tentacles,” Paul added.
“I remember you telling us before that Kraken tentacle was one of the most delicious things you’ve ever eaten,” Eric said, looking disappointed that the wizards hadn’t captured the entire Kraken for food.
“Even if they managed to kill the Krakens, the meat would have gone to themselves and the nobles,” Paul said dismissively.
“Well, you know that rumor about a tentacle being taken by one of the wizards? Last night, I secretly went to the deck where I could see the Kraken’s attack. I managed to cut off one of their tentacles, hid it, and immediately returned to my room,” Anton whispered.
Paul and Eric stared at him with wide eyes.
“Were you not worried that the wizards would scold you for barging into their battle?” Paul asked.
“It has already been several hours. If they wanted to reprimand me, they would have done it already,” Anton replied with a shrug.
“Didn’t they realize that you were the one who took the tentacle?” Eric asked.
“I doubt it. I’m not certain, but based on the rumors you shared with me, there are several Invisible Rank wizards on this ship, and even a couple of Semi-Divine Rank wizards. With their abilities, I’m sure they noticed what I did last night. If that’s the case, then it was probably beneath them to react,” Anton answered.
“When are we going to taste the tentacle?” Paul asked eagerly.
“I want all of us to enjoy it, but the storm only just passed. I’m sure some of our friends’ stomachs are still unsettled. Let’s wait a couple of days until everything is stable. I’ll host a movie showing, have someone cook the tentacle for us while we watch, and after the movie ends, we’ll eat together,” Anton said.
The three of them looked hungry as they discussed the Kraken tentacle. Paul and Eric had been deeply affected by Anton’s story about the time he and his family had eaten Kraken meat while traveling on the ship from Rendindura to the Gale Continent.
“Paul, can you talk to the manager of the Hall of Opulence and schedule a movie viewing for the day after tomorrow? Also, ask the manager to help us find chefs who can prepare the tentacle,” Anton said.
Paul nodded confidently, assuring Anton that he would handle everything.
Afterward, Paul and Eric left to complete the task Anton gave them, while Anton returned to leveling up his ladder character.
A couple of days later, Paul and Eric knocked on Anton’s door to inform him that it was time for the movie.
Anton followed them to the Hall of Opulence, where the manager was already waiting. He handed the man several kilograms of Kraken tentacle meat, and the manager immediately had his assistants prepare the meat for the chefs he had hired for the day.
This time, Anton didn’t have to pay for anything. The ship had already agreed to cover all expenses he incurred in the Noble Section in exchange for providing movies for the captain.
Previously, the only expenses Ormunda covered were his food bills, but after his agreement with the captain, most of Anton’s expenses would now be paid for.
The manager of the hall asked Anton if he could allow him and his family to watch the film as well. When Anton agreed, he was surprised when the manager suddenly complained about the movie events hosted by the ship.
Apparently, the ticket prices were so expensive that only passengers from the Noble Section could afford them.
Although the manager had considered skipping the movies because of the cost, his family refused to let him. The man left to bring them over, and once everyone was ready, Anton started the movie he had chosen.
Since he had not watched the animated films before, Anton chose The Incredibles and The Incredibles II. Once again, he didn’t care much if the people of this world found the setting strange.
When the movie began, everyone became completely focused on the screen.
Anton noticed that instead of being put off by the differences between the people and culture shown in the film and their own world, they became even more fascinated. To them, it felt as if they were getting a glimpse into the lives of people from another dimension.
