Anton stayed in his room to continue leveling his Diablo II ladder character. Whenever he grew tired of playing, he would leave his room and spend time with his friends.
Some of them asked Anton if he could spare movie tickets for their other family members, but he declined. He had already given free tickets to all of them, and there were far too many people involved.
“Besides, the cinema hosted by the ship is only a one-time event. If I’m the one hosting movie events, I’ll invite you all again, but I’m still busy with my magic and don’t have time to watch movies right now,” Anton told everyone while they were spending time together on one of the decks in the Middle Section.
“I don’t believe the ship’s management would allow you to simply give them movies for a one-time event. Most of them are used to catering to the whims of nobles and wizards. If they insist that they want to continue watching movies, they’ll probably make themselves such a nuisance to you that you won’t have any choice but to provide what they want,” Paul commented.
Anton sighed at Paul’s words because he believed that was exactly what would happen. The truth was, he couldn’t simply refuse either, since he wanted to maintain a good relationship with the people on the ship.
Still, providing movies was not too much of a burden for him. He only needed to give them Mini Globes of Browser Sharing. He would still limit the movie events, though, because his family was not earning any money from them. Even though he had received the captain’s promise that his expenses would be covered by the ship, most of them were already being handled by Ormunda because of his monthly portal scroll contributions. Besides, his expenses were not excessive. Most of them were simply for food.
After about a week, the captain requested to speak with Anton again. The reason was the nobles asking the captain to obtain more movies from him. Anton did not make a big deal out of it and simply handed the captain three Mini Globes of Browser Sharing containing The Hobbit movies.
He informed the captain that he would only provide movies once a month, and the captain readily accepted the arrangement.
Anton also asked the captain to continue providing tickets for his friends.
“No worries. I can even allow their families to watch the films for free. The amount the nobles and some of the wizards paid for the movie tickets was so substantial that the ship is very satisfied with you right now. They could request many things from you, especially since you never asked for monetary compensation for your movies,” the captain said.
“When will the ship host the next movie showing?”
“After a few days,” the captain replied.
After the captain and his people left Anton’s room, he sent a raven summons to Paul with a letter informing him that the next movie event would be hosted by the ship and that they could still watch the movies for free. He also told Paul that the captain would allow their families to watch the films as well.
A few hours later, the captain returned to Anton’s room to speak with him again. Apparently, when the people on the ship learned that the movies being shown were prequels to The Lord of the Rings, many of them requested to watch The Lord of the Rings trilogy again.

Anton could only sigh before handing the captain three more Mini Globes of Browser Sharing containing The Lord of the Rings movies. He also asked the captain to allow his friends and their families to watch the movies again.
“Captain, isn’t it beneath your dignity to personally handle these kinds of matters?” Anton asked.
“Normally, yes. However, our journey will last an entire year, and there is not much to do on the ship when things are peaceful, just like this journey has been so far. I entertain myself by personally handling these kinds of issues. Besides, I actually enjoy the movies you are providing us,” the captain replied.
After the captain left, Anton sent another raven summons to Paul, informing him that he and his family could watch The Lord of the Rings again before viewing the prequel films.
After that brief interlude, Anton returned to what he had been doing for the past few weeks.
Another week passed, and Anton felt mentally exhausted from staying inside his room for so long. He decided to meet up with his friends, and they all ate lunch at one of the nicer restaurants in the Noble Section of the ship.
Since he had been providing movies to the ship, Anton felt that it was only right to spend some of his coins treating his friends.
While they were eating, they talked about the six movies they had watched. They had watched The Lord of the Rings twice, and everyone was delighted that their families had been allowed to join them during the second viewing.
Paul told Anton that most of their conversations over the past few days had revolved around the movies. Those who had managed to watch some of the films in the cinema in Ormunda had become the center of attention.
Eric asked Anton if he planned to host another movie marathon.
“I don’t know. Since the ship’s management is also hosting movie events, I probably won’t do something like that anymore. Besides, you’re free to watch the films that the ship is showing,” Anton told them.
Anton spent several hours spending time with his friends from the ship. They mostly wandered around, but interestingly, most of them avoided places where Anton would have to spend coins.
He understood that they had probably started feeling guilty about treating him like their personal wallet.
Because of that, they mostly stayed in the Middle Section and visited places that did not require any payment. There was a theater where amateur actors performed plays. The aspiring actors used it as practice while also entertaining themselves.
The people who watched their performances did not mind that the plays were imperfect.
Anton enjoyed watching them, and even the flaws made the performances more entertaining.
After spending time with his friends, Anton returned to his room. He resumed leveling his ladder character, and after some time, he finally reached the maximum level with his ladder Druid.
While leveling his Druid, Anton had thought about which items he could transfer from the game into the real world. He had decided to collect the complete Tal Rasha Set.
Once he reached the maximum level for his Druid, he transferred Tal Rasha’s Guardianship, the armor piece from the set, into the real world.
He admired the armor for a moment before storing it in his inventory. He then started leveling his next Diablo II ladder character: the Necromancer.
While leveling his Necromancer, Anton suddenly felt his room swaying.
Looking outside his window, he saw that the ship was caught in the middle of a storm. He simply shrugged and returned his attention to his Diablo System.
It was normal for the ship to encounter storms during the journey, and he was not worried about the Melinda being in danger. There were powerful wizards on the ship who could protect it.
Soon, however, Anton was forced to stop because his Diablo System informed him that the environmental disturbance in his room had become severe.
When he exited the game, he looked outside again. The ship was still caught in the middle of the storm, but the unbelievable sight was that, illuminated by flashes of lightning, he saw a massive kraken tentacle.
Anton immediately realized that the ship was being attacked by a giant kraken while in the middle of a storm.
Instead of fear, excitement filled him.
He quickly rushed out of his room, hoping to obtain a few tons of kraken tentacle so he could taste it again.
The tentacle of a giant kraken was one of the most delicious seafood dishes he had ever eaten.
