Chapter 881

Anton, of course, knew that his items would be thoroughly examined by any knowledgeable wizards who managed to acquire them. He was aware that the enchantment system he used to create his magic items, which was based on his Diablo System, was vastly different from how standard magic items in this world were created.

In truth, Anton didn’t even know how regular magic items were made. He had never witnessed an enchanter creating a magic item. The only reason he was capable of producing his own items was that he had deduced the basic principles behind them: etching a mana structure onto an object, creating a trigger mechanism, and forming a mana battery.

He didn’t mind if wizards discovered the process behind his creations. His magic items were not world-breaking or overwhelmingly powerful. Most of them were designed to make people’s lives easier. Even his magic tablets were mainly focused on defense.

At the very least, Anton knew that his system was not completely foreign to the wizards of this world. Otherwise, they would have already made a move against him.

“Yes. I’m aware that most of the items I sold to wizards usually don’t last long because they would likely be subjected to intense scrutiny. The magic system I use is based on my family’s bloodline magic, not regular magic, or what I usually refer to as standard magic,” Anton explained to the beautiful Invincible Rank elven wizard, Noreshanae.

“Based on our investigation, despite reaching the Supreme Rank in wizardry, your actual age is still very young. I will not take advantage of your inexperience. Normally, I would have done everything possible to keep you on the island so that we could persuade you to share your enchantment process. However, we will not do that because we understand the consequences. We know that you are still supplying Ormunda with those wondrous Portal Scrolls. We are also aware that you can only produce thirty of them each month, and twenty-five of those scrolls are already being provided to the alliance on the Gale continent. If you are willing to sell us this tablet and a few Portal Scrolls, we are prepared to pay you generously,” Noreshanae told Anton.

When Anton asked how much the elven wizard was willing to pay, he couldn’t help but widen his eyes at the amount she offered.

He tried to negotiate, but after a few minutes, Anton realized he was completely out of his depth. In the end, he simply accepted the deal and gave the elves two Town Portal Scrolls and one Mithril Tablet of Defensive Spells.

Anton knew that if he had been more skilled at bargaining and trading, he might have gained more. However, the amount he had already received was staggering. Since he wanted to build a good relationship with the elves, he was willing to give up some of the profits he could have earned.

The elves paid him the agreed amount, and Anton immediately stored the coins in his inventory.

At least with his current funds, he no longer had to worry about his spending power during his journey.

At first, Anton was concerned that selling Town Portal Scrolls to the elves might upset Ormunda. However, the Islands of Meronoma were not enemies, and he had never been told that he was forbidden from sharing or selling his Portal Scrolls to others.

After the transaction, Noreshanae asked if he had any other items he could sell. Since he was already there, Anton showed her his second tablet, which contained some of his support spells. He also displayed some of the lifestyle items he had created and stored in his inventory.

The elves purchased all the magic items he showed them, allowing Anton to earn a considerable amount of wealth. He didn’t know whether he would need the coins when he reached Izmorta, but the fact remained that the items he sold were things he could create in a short amount of time. In truth, Anton felt that he had gained a fortune while spending almost nothing to produce them.

Because of the trade, Noreshanae and the elven manager of the shop developed a favorable impression of Anton. The beautiful elven wizard even invited him to visit some places on the island that were normally off-limits to visitors, and Anton gladly accepted.

“Can I bring a couple of friends with me?”

“Are they wizards?”

“No. They’re ordinary humans who, like me, plan to join the magical organization in Izmorta.”

The two elves looked at him curiously. After a moment, they asked the question that Anton knew was on their minds.

“May we ask why you wish to join the Izmortan wizards? You are aware that if you do so, you will have to start your magical journey from the beginning.”

“As you mentioned, I’m still young. Truthfully, I want the ability to travel to different dimensions, and based on my research, the Izmortans are the most skilled in interdimensional travel. If you have investigated me, then you know that my family earned a great deal of wealth from movies, which are shows created through technology from a dimension where magic does not exist. Because of that, the people of that dimension advanced their technology tremendously.

“My bloodline magic allowed me to open a window into their world, and I became fascinated by the art they created throughout their history. Their artists opened my mind to endless possibilities and made me realize that with our access to magic, some of those possibilities could become reality. I want to travel through the universe in a spacecraft, visit incredible alien worlds, and experience more. I believe the Izmortans’ ability to travel between dimensions will give me the power to achieve that.”

“I can understand your ambition, and your assumptions are correct. The Izmortans are the people with the greatest knowledge regarding dimensional travel. Of course, many capable wizards possess that ability, but the Izmortans have brought it to an unimaginable level.”

When Anton heard Noreshanae’s words about the Izmortan wizards, he became extremely happy and excited. Her answer confirmed that his decision to go to Izmorta was the right one.

After completing his trade with the elves, Anton happily left the shop with a young elf accompanying him. The elf’s name was Mironor, and he would serve as Anton’s guide while he was on the island. Mironor would lead him to places that were normally forbidden to visitors.

“Can we go to that coffee shop first? I want to summon the two friends I mentioned,” Anton told his elven guide, who simply nodded.

Once they were seated, Mironor ordered their drinks and food while Anton summoned a raven, attached a letter to it, and sent it to Paul.

They waited for around thirty minutes before Anton saw Paul and Eric running from the port, searching for the café he had mentioned in the letter. Anton stood up and waved at them, and the two immediately ran toward him.

“Anton! Your letter said that the elves will allow us to see places that are not shown to travelers!” Paul asked excitedly, and Anton happily nodded.

He first allowed his two friends to rest and ordered pastries and drinks for them. While they ate, he explained that because of his trade with the elves, they had granted him the privilege of visiting some places that were normally reserved only for elves.

When the two asked what items he had sold, Anton told them that he had sold a tablet and some of his tools that made life more convenient.

They already knew about the tablet because they had been present when the Invincible Rank wizard Olemena from the ship requested one from him.

“What do you mean by items that make life easier?” Eric asked.

“You already know about them. The items that produce cold air and lower the temperature of a room, or their counterparts that produce hot air and warm a room or house. I also have items that produce light and water,” Anton answered.
