My First Trip was to Another World

Apostolic Apprentice 5

Preparations for cooking, which take place at the initiative of the Church, are proceeding pale. The process now is cooking. I think I have to make quite a lot of them, but only two of them are involved in that task: Luna and Claire.

It's just that Luna and Claire are working a lot more happily because they took the lead. Children caught up in it approach a fearful cooking place.

"Come on, don't interrupt."

When I spoke to the children, they fled in surprise. I don't mean to sound scared, and I don't remember intimidating you. How can you be so frightened......

"Ko-kun, do you have a minute?

Mr. Lily called out to me wondering.

"What's up?

"I just saw a cleric yelling at a child. Perhaps we are scared"

"... Seriously?

"Oh. I guess that's how you always do it because you looked used to it. So I don't think children can get close if they want to."

Don't get used to that...... I just intimidated the kid, and there's nothing good about it.

Even though they serve food free of charge, the children here are guests. If you don't follow me, you won't get close when the offering starts......

"Lily, don't you have a cookie?

"I have... what are you going to do?

"Hand them out to the children. Let Luna cook Lily's share later."

I'm not going to sell my children the euphoria, but it's hard to do as it seems to be avoidable. If you give me the cookies, I wonder if you'll let me off guard for a little while.

"... okay?

Mr. Lily made an uneasy voice.

"I'll give Luna extra time, but she'll convince me if I tell her what's going on."

All the snack and emergency food cookies are baked by Luna. He said it was "a hobby," but it definitely takes more effort. But if you say you handed it out to the kids, they'll replenish it right away.

"No, I didn't. Church rules are troublesome. If you do anything extra, isn't that Jizzy loud?

Mr. Lilli turned his disgusting eyes to his uncle when he said so. From every inch of the word, I can see that you would hate to talk about your uncle.

I don't think it's unnecessary... but it's certainly a case I'm about to complain about. But it's alright. You keep your mouth shut, you won't find out, and in case they find out, they'll just complain.

"Let me tell you something. I don't care if you don't care."

"... well. Right! All right, I'm coming!

Mr. Lily nodded forcefully and ran out in the direction where the children were. All I can see from here is hindsight, but the children are frightened when they notice Mr. Lily...... What kind of face are you running on?

Well, it won't be bad. I'll leave the children to Mr. Lily and return to his security duties. Even so, it's just a fucking boring assignment to be standing in a bow... I want to slip on moss with Leeds too.

Oh, Leeds picked up the board and it's slipping like a snowboard...... Sounds like fun.

My uncle called out as I continued to blur and guard one person.

"Master Koh, may I have a word?

"What?

"I don't see Master Lily, do you have any idea where he's going?

Apparently my uncle thought unnaturally because Lily, who was supposed to be on guard, was gone. Well, of course.

If I told you I was at the kids' place, I think it would probably be a hassle. I guess I'll just leave it at the right place.

"Aren't you even going to wash your hands? Don't pry."

The act of handing out cookies to children has now decided to call it (...) hand (...) wash (...) y (...) at this moment. So it's not wrong.

"No, because even if it was, it was something I didn't say no to"

"Anyone would go to the bathroom or so. And maybe it was too urgent."

As far as the momentum Mr. Lily had rushed out, he seemed in a pretty hurry. You can tell me it was urgent.

"Still, you can't admire leaving the holding area without my permission. Be careful in the future"

When his uncle distorted his mouth in a grumpy manner he said, he went back to his place with Tsukatsuka.

Are you sure about this novel...... Better watch out in the future. The excuses are appropriate, so let's speak up when you leave the scene.

I get a yawn...... Luna ran over to me as I was having a boring time.

"Thank you for waiting. We're ready."

Looks like we're done cooking. You're finally starting to offer. Report it to your uncle and ask for the following instructions:

"Uncle, they're done cooking. What am I supposed to do next?

"... why doesn't the cook report directly to me?

My uncle groaned in a grumpy manner. If it was the church aunt who reported it, I would have reported it to this uncle...... The aunt has abandoned her work for some time now and has stood up. I just stare at Luna and Claire with a frustrating look on my face.

I don't know if you're bored...... I don't know, maybe the person enjoys that. I ignore it because I don't think it's something I care about.

"You don't care about such details. Anyway, I'm all set. Let's move on to the next task."

"Fine...? I'm in charge here. What will you do if you don't report it to me? Tell her."

This uncle wants to tell Luna to report it again. Are you an asshole? How many times do I have to put you through this?

"The requirements have been passed on, so it doesn't matter how they report it. It's a waste of time, just tell me what my next job is."

"... it seems useless to you to say anything. I get it. Shall I call the informer back?"

My uncle takes out the transcriber with a frightened face and writes something down. Probably contacting the young man in the informer.

A little later, Leeds and a young man brought in the participants. Young men brought in a few men with dark faces. The opposite Leeds brought in the children and their families who were playing together. There are dozens of them. It's a hassle to count, so I don't like the number of people I know.

"Fair enough, I guess. It's good to have people together."

What scares me about this hand event is when people didn't get together. All the dishes I've made are wasted.

"I've never seen so many people come together. You were so hungry."

My uncle nods contentedly... but I think it's usually because he's a bad way to attract customers. Well, I won't say anything extra.

I felt the time was long when I did it because it was just a task I was waiting for. I can finally start offering.

It would just be our job as security guards to align our guests. Not when I thought so.

"We are waiting. Let's wait for the informer to align."

"Hmm? Why?

I meant to think in my heart, but my mouth moved completely and my voice went out.

"Why... it would be common sense to be so responsible because you are the one who called in. Our role is to address the problems that arise during alignment. In some cases, we may use force, so please be prepared with your intent."

I get caught up in the word common sense, but it's probably more noisy than that. I've been observing this for a long time now, but I don't think residents around here will cause any problems. The security looks good, and I can't see you having bad extra manners.

But my uncle's mouth definitely seemed to cause problems... and when it comes to meals, I wonder if my attitude changes. Let's be careful.

That's how meals began to be served. We, the guards, will continue our security alongside Mr. Lily to respond to any rubbing that may occur.

I recognize this is what I need too, but I don't feel like I'm just gonna give you an extra intimidation.

My guard against Mr. Lily and the Lunas has been lifted, but I still seem subtly scared, and my children never come near me. I feel a little lonely... but I can't help this. I didn't do anything to the children.

Shall we give Leeds a shout before the gathered begin to align?

"Leeds, they want us to line up the people who are here. Can you do that?"

"Yeah, I'm listening. I'll take care of it!

When Leeds said that, he ran out to the cooking table. Sounds fine. Really...? Well, it's the guys I was playing with until just now, so it won't be a problem.

That's what I thought while I was at it. Around the beginning of the line Leeds is aligning, I can hear him rubbing something. It's my turn. Let's hurry to the scene.

"Don't interrupt me!

"You're the one, don't line up on your own. I always decided I was in the lead!

Upon arrival at the scene, the guests Leeds had brought and the young man had brought.

As far as the situation goes, Leeds seemed to be aligning them in order of precedence. I guess the man that the young man brought in there interrupted and developed into a rub. The bad ones are obvious.

"You're gonna have trouble interrupting."

That's what I said. I grab the broken man's collar and pull him behind the line.

"What? You're not me! Who the hell do you think I am?

The man is somewhat of a wake-up call, but my heart isn't wide enough to honestly listen to the kind of guy who interrupts. Yes, yes and flush appropriately.

"Wherever we line up, the food doesn't run away. Be honest with me."

Intimidating his voice he said, the man nodded again and again with a blue face. I'm getting better too...... If I had, I would have stunned him with too much momentum. I feel better.

When I got back beside Mr. Lily in a good mood, my uncle turned his blood on me.

"Master Koh!

"What? Anything wrong again?

Looks like there's finally more work for the guards. I've had so much free time so far, it helps to get busy.

"It's a big ant! Don't you know what alignment means!?"

From what I can tell by my uncle's condition, apparently he didn't have more security work. Too bad......

But it's kind of like being ridiculed. I understand about what alignment means. It's important to keep our customers efficient. I'm not late at the moment.

"No, we don't have a problem with that. The line is going well."

"It's not! Master Koh drove him to the rear of the line! What did you do to me!

My uncle's face seems to be blushing in a hurry and bluish with anger. I don't remember doing anything that awkward.

"We've just eliminated it because we've been interrupting, haven't we?

"That one will always come with his people at all times. If I'm in a bad mood... how do I get people together next..."

Apparently he was a regular of ancient ginseng. The church humans spoil it, so I guess it was pretty much on. If you leave a guy like this alone, he'll be the only one coming in the future...

"You can think about that later. Bad guy who doesn't keep his manners."

"Don't say anything crazy! You all know that someone needs special treatment!

Finally, do you mean VIP treatment? I understand that there are people who need such a response. But I don't think I needed it for this one.

"Isn't that the kind of response that all the people around you have to have a reason to be convinced?

Like the royal nobility, for example.

"We're the ones who decide that! Don't do anything unsolicited!

It's not us. If we do that, we'll be disgusted with our surroundings. If there's no reason to be convinced, they'll complain, "Why just him?" I would, too, if someone I don't know was treated like a VIP.

If it were me, I wouldn't go to a store doing that again. I don't even go willingly. Because it's kind of annoying.

"You're going to lose both sides... No, let's not. Watch out for next."

They can rub it when they say what they want to say, so it's a good place to go.

"I hope you understand..."

My uncle nodded in his disapproval and left us. Ha... Apostolic work is really tight.
