Chapter 74: New Task
Before these zebras could get up again, they were already tied up by some guards who had come with Lord Ash.
And so they laid there on the floor, struggling to break free from the ropes holding them down. But it was rather impossible to break free now. The guards bundled them up to their feet as they stood before Lord Ash.
"Now what do we do with you three...?" Ash ran a hand through his chin while he casually ate his apple. "Burn you up? Take off your head? What now..."
The triplets panicked as they stared at each other. They immediately began begging Ash to set them free.
"We didn’t mean it! It was all a joke!"
"We! We wouldn’t mean harm for the female! It was a joke!" They pleaded but it was already too late.
Lord Ash smiled as he nodded. "Okay okay. Sure sure. I understand. But there’s nothing I can do about it you see..." He shrugged as he said, "My female got scared so you have to suffer for it."
The triplets gasped as Ash stared at his guards. "Take them out of my sight and cast them into the wild contaminated zones. I don’t care what happens to them, whether they survive or die, it’s basically up to them," he said, his ruthless eyes glazing at them.
These triplets gasped as they instantly began pleading for mercy. But it was clear that Ash wasn’t going to consider them at all. He casually stared at them while the guards dragged them away.
Ayra watched as the scene unfolded. She guessed she’d have to get used to the ruthless Lord Ash.
With everyone gone, Ash and Ayra were left alone in the quiet and empty woods. Ash turned and stared at Ayra.

"Well... Thanks I guess?" Ayra smiled at him. He still had his cold expression on, staring at her. The fox wasn’t smiling with her at the moment and this had Ayra panicking for a while.
What happened? Was he mad? Why was he mad?
Before she could ask, Ash walked up to her. He was pulling too close that Ayra too began stepping backwards. But it was too late, her back had met a tree. She had nowhere to go but he was still pulling closer.
"What is it...?" His nose brushed against her face as his breath washed all over her. She could feel him breathing hard as his hands came to hold onto her waist, pulling her closer.
"This..." Ayra stared at him. "What is it...?"
He stared deep into her eyes. "Should I just kiss you hard enough before you grow some brains?"
"..."
She gasped. "What?"
"It’s dangerous here. You moving around is so dangerous and yet you decided to move around all alone. And even trusted some random people?" He took her chin in his hands, pulling her face close, their lips almost brushing. Ayra found it hard to breathe!
"Do you know how worried I was? Eh?" Ash was certainly teasing her now. Because his lips had effortlessly brushed against her as he said, "I almost went insane when I got back and didn’t see you... And when I asked around.. I was worried sick that something had happened to you...."
Ayra swallowed as she stared at him. "Sorry about that...?"
Lord Ash sighed as he pulled backwards, letting her breathe as he stared at her from his distance. "Saying sorry doesn’t fix anything at all. Next time remember that you have to be extremely careful."
He added, "This place isn’t some safe haven or anything. It’s actually more dangerous than you think. And you can’t easily trust everyone around at all. Sometimes, wild men from other tribes might sneak around here and do crazy stuff... So you have to be extra careful."
Ayra didn’t need anyone to tell her that twice! She slowly nodded. "Thanks. I’ll keep that in mind."
He folded his arms as he stared at her. "Next time you make such a silly mistake, I’ll make sure I punish you."
Ayra stared at him. "And how do you plan on doing that?"
"I’ll kiss you hard and then make sure you moan words of apologies in bed for me," he casually said with both arms folded while he stared at her.
Ayra blinked. "Is that supposed to be a punishment...?"
"Yes," he said as she nodded.
"Okay then," she said as she turned to the stream ahead. Even though these little rascals were a scam, this was actually not a bad spot at all. "I guess I have to take my bath now. If you could..."
"No. I’m not leaving at all. I’ll stay here and keep guard while you go and take your bath," he said firmly.
Ayra slowly nodded. She knew she couldn’t talk him out of it so she didn’t even bother at all. "Thanks....I guess?"
They had already seen each other naked a couple of times, so there was technically no need for being shy here at all.
She smiled as she made her way down to the stream. And while she went into the stream for a bath, Lord Ash stood there at a distance watching with both arms folded. Just like a personal bodyguard.
Ayra felt her whole body calm as she covered herself in the water. Just like the little rascals had said, this water felt like magic to the body. It felt extremely compatible with the water that she could stay in here forever.
She washed herself with her body wash and soap while feeling the smooth chill run through her body. She felt extremely smooth. She could tell it was from the previous improvement, her body was now getting extremely smooth and glowing as well.
