Chapter 112: Manifested
Lord Ash tried to keep his calm while searching through his mind for what to do.
He had reached out for his pocket to grab his dagger and strike. He wanted to do anything to save his cub even if it meant attacking this monster!
But immediately, Lord Vale said, "Stay put.." he told them as they stared at him. He continued, "Don’t provoke the snake..."
"..."
They stared while Lord Vale further explained, "If you want to protect the cub for now.. let’s not act on impulse.. at least not now..."
Ayra stared at him. "But what do we do...?"
Lord Vale observed the giant snake for a while before he said, "I know this monster.. the snake can’t see.. it can only perceive. So for now, it’s trying to observe its environment..."
He added, "And it’s extremely venomous. So we don’t want it going after the cub at all.."
Ayra gasped. She felt chills running down her spine as she stared up at the scene. The snake was still staring down at the cub even though it couldn’t see. And Ally still had her big eyes up at it.
"So what do we do now...?"
Lord Vale thought quickly for a while and said, "Let’s strategize first.." he turned to the other tribe leaders. "Let’s find a tactical way to get at it..."
They slowly nodded while Lord Vale and the others began strategizing.
But before they could even come up with anything, Rai had instantly said, "Well I don’t think the cub can wait until that..."
They turned to the scene again only to see Ally standing up and approaching the damn snake again!
"What the..." Ayra gasped in shock. They watched Ally approach the snake, standing close to it while resting her hand against its skin.
Ayra and the rest panicked for what would happen. They were scared that she’d get harmed and almost recklessly stepped in to save her regardless.
But they paused when they noticed that the snake didn’t do anything!
Rather, the snake sat there watching as the cub felt its body.
Ally smiled and giggled happily while she ran her little hands against the giant snake’s smooth slick body. "Hahaha," she continued smiling while feeling its body as though it was some plaything.
"..."
The beastmen stared in shock, speechless. They couldn’t believe their eyes at what was happening. Was the cub playing on the giant monster snake’s body without it doing anything but staring?!
"What’s that...?" Lord Ash asked Vale. "Is he usually that kind...?"
"..." Lord Vale blinked, scratching a hand against his head while shaking his head. "No.. it’s supposed to be vicious and... brutal..."
Ayra blinked. "Then what’s happening..."
Before she could finish her sentence, Ally instantly began climbing on the snake’s curled body!
Panic rushed through the veins of the beastmen around as they stared in shock.
"What’s the cub doing?"
"Should we do something? Should we save her?"
"It doesn’t look like she needs saving though..." Rai explained.
They watched in utter shock as Ally climbed on the snake’s body and sat down. She smiled happily while looking around, feeling its body as if she wasn’t sitting on the dangerous monster!
But shockingly enough, the snake didn’t do anything at all. The snake wasn’t even making actions to capture or even harm her!
Rather, the snake stared at the cub curiously. While the cub played around its body, the snake leaned closer, running its nose close to the cub while sniffing it.
Ayra was confused. "What’s it doing...?"
Rai blinked. "Does it want to harm her...?"
Lord Vale stared closely and shook his head. "No, I don’t think that’s the case at all..." he said. "Rather, I think it’s sniffing the cub..."
"Sniffing...? And why would it do that...?" Ayra asked, curiously.
"Her scent.. is pulling it..." Lord Vale explained.
"This only means that the cub has pheromones that the snake finds appealing and soothing...?" Lord Ash confirmed.
Immediately, Lord Zark closed his eyes and sniffed from where he stood. And he could instantly perceive it as well.
He opened his eyes with both arms folded as he said, "It’s an S-rank pheromones..." He announced. "The cub is an S-rank female cub..."
Other beastmen sniffed as well and immediately it all got to them. They could all pick up the scent of the fox cub. It was an alluring and calming scent. A strong female pheromone from the little one.
"It’s true..." A beastman blinked, shocked. "That scent... She’s an S-rank female cub."
"Woah. That’s impressive. The female was able to bear an S-rank female cub."
"That’s great," they all smiled while staring at the cub who didn’t even seem bothered by their conversation but kept sitting on the snake happily.
Being an F-rank female, her smell wasn’t so great. So Ayra needed her system to help interpret.

Ayra smiled proudly as she stared up at the cub sitting on the snake. She could see soft glittering orange dust floating around her. She could tell that was her pheromones in action.
Lord Vale folded his arms with a smile as he said, "The cub really is something... I can’t believe she can already soothe the wild snake beast effortlessly."
At that point, they didn’t need anyone to explain the situation at hand. They had understood that the snake wasn’t making a move on the cub because her scent had captured and calmed it.
The manifested active pheromones of the cub had made the snake adore the cub now instead of attacking it and everyone around.
And the snake simply sniffed her while Ally happily got up to her feet and even walked around the snake, playing around its body. Pulling its sides and even running her little hand around the snake’s head and mouth as if it was nothing.
Ayra blinked. "I think we should get her out of there before she does something..."
"Certainly," the three tribe leaders agreed.
