Fiona Linton inserted a few needles into Judith Pierce. She took a deep breath and jolted awake.

Her face was pale. She gripped Fiona Linton’s hand and looked at Walker Grant, asking, "Is it true? Walker, is what he said really true?"

Walker Grant asked, "Didn’t Dad go back? He didn’t tell you?"

"He..."

Judith Pierce opened her mouth, but for a moment, she was speechless.

After returning to Breyburn, Arthur Grant hadn’t even gone back to the old estate. He went directly to the cemetery, checked into a nearby hotel, and spent his days visiting Julian Grant’s grave, staying for the entire day.

Of course, he hadn’t told her.

Judith Pierce covered her face, and a muffled sob escaped her. "How could this happen? How did it come to this? Noah is so little... How could she be so cruel as to poison him? That’s her own flesh and blood!"

She was filled with unbearable grief and rage!

An image of little Noah appeared in her mind, and the sorrow became even more suffocating.

The hospital room was filled with Judith Pierce’s sobs. No one else said a word.

After a long while, Judith Pierce’s emotions finally stabilized. Wiping her tears with a tissue, she asked, "Where is Sunny Reed?"

Daniel Hayes said, "We have her in a bungalow on the outskirts of the city."

"Take me to her."

Judith Pierce stood up, her expression turning cold.

But Daniel Hayes hesitated. "In your condition, are you sure you should go?"

Judith Pierce gritted her teeth. "I have to go. I want to ask her what in the world she was thinking."

’She wouldn’t be able to rest until she saw Sunny Reed and punished her! She couldn’t let this go!’

’So vicious!’

’As a mother, how could she be so ruthless!’

Daniel Hayes looked to Walker Grant. "Are you sure about your mom going?"

Walker Grant said, "You go with her."

Daniel Hayes nodded. "Alright, let’s go then."

Judith Pierce immediately stormed out of the hospital room, practically radiating waves of fury.

Only then did Fiona Linton speak. "That’s utterly horrifying. Her own mother poisoned her child? Caused him to have a lifelong disability? What kind of person does something like that?"

Chloe Reed looked at her, a hint of envy in her eyes.

’Fiona Linton had grown up surrounded by love, with little exposure to the ugliness of the world. Chloe envied her for that innocence.’

She turned to look at Walker Grant and typed, "You didn’t tell her about this?"

Walker Grant grunted. "There was no need. She’d find out when the time was right."

But a peculiar glint appeared in Chloe Reed’s eyes.

’Judith Pierce was already worried and upset about Walker being injured. If she found out about Noah Grant on top of that, her health might have taken a turn for the worse.’

’That’s why he’d kept it from her.’

’If Daniel Hayes hadn’t come barging in, Judith Pierce might not have found out until she was back in Breyburn.’

’At least then she would have had some time to prepare.’

’So it seemed Walker Grant was indeed considering Judith Pierce’s health. He did care about his mother, after all.’

"..."

The bungalow on the outskirts of the city was in a secluded area, far from residential neighborhoods, with pitifully few cars passing by.

A hoarse cry for help could be heard, but only from close to the bungalow.

"Help me, help me!"

Judith Pierce heard the voice the moment she stepped out of the car. She took a deep breath and walked toward the building.

As she reached the door, two bodyguards emerged from the side. "Mrs. Grant?"

"I want to go inside," said Judith Pierce.

Daniel Hayes, standing behind her, waved at the two bodyguards. "Open the door."

"Yes."
