Chapter 1413: Can You Consider My Feelings?
"Waiter! Take our order!"
Before Anthony could speak, Alice Turner turned her head and called the waiter to place an order, using this to divert Thomas Fisher’s attention.
Hearing a customer call out, the nearby waiter walked over, "Good morning, the three of you!"
After asking, the waiter placed the menu on the table.
"Jacob! See what you like to eat?" Alice Turner pushed the menu in front of Anthony, making it easy for him to look at the menu and choose what to eat.
Anthony glanced at Alice Turner and then looked down to start studying the menu carefully, taking quite a while before selecting two dishes.
"Sis! What do you like to eat? I’ll help you order." After Anthony placed his order, he didn’t push the menu toward Alice Turner and Thomas Fisher, but continued looking at it, preparing to help Alice Turner order, as for the other person, he seemed not to want to assist.
Alice Turner leaned over to look at the menu together with Anthony. After understanding the menu, she raised her hand and pointed at some dishes.
"Here! For you! Don’t say we’re bullying you by not letting you eat." After Alice Turner had finished ordering, Anthony placed the menu in front of Thomas Fisher, and while doing so, he pointedly said those words.
Before Thomas Fisher could pick up the menu, the waiter standing by the table spoke up, "Do you have other friends joining you?"
The waiter looked at each of the three people before finally fixing his gaze on Thomas Fisher.
"What do you mean? There’s only three of us." Anthony didn’t understand what the waiter meant and was the first to ask with confusion.
The waiter shifted his gaze to Anthony and seriously explained, "What you’ve ordered is already enough for three people. Ordering more would be too much."
"Thank you! We’ll just have those." When the waiter asked the question, Alice Turner already understood what the waiter meant, but before she could speak, Anthony had already asked.
"Please wait a moment!"
The waiter responded with a smile, took the menu with the order, and turned away.
Listening to Alice Turner and the waiter’s conversation, Thomas Fisher’s mouth involuntarily curled upwards, thinking that she might not be so cold-hearted towards him after all. She actually cared for him, and he knew her indifference towards him was all an act.
Anthony was sitting right across him, and he caught Thomas Fisher’s small smile completely, asking with a stern face, "What are you laughing at?"
He was smiling so mischievously; he surely had a belly full of schemes.
"I’m happy." The curve on Thomas Fisher’s lips became even more pronounced, and his face broke into a happy smile in an instant.
Anthony rolled his eyes at him and threw a splash of cold water his way with annoyance, "Careful not to be too happy and end up crying."
The words were suggestive, and he believed the other party could understand them well.
"Thanks for the reminder, I’ll be careful." Thomas Fisher pulled Alice Turner’s hand upward, placing it on her shoulder, wrapping her affectionately.
Alice Turner tilted her head to look at the man next to her, her face cold, "Can you consider my feelings a bit?"
Since seeing him in the morning, he had been disregarding her feelings, making one intimate gesture after another. Did he really think she had no temper?
"Haha... karma comes fast." Anthony laughed rather unkindly.
Thomas Fisher bit his teeth angrily at Anthony. To avoid making Alice Turner angry, he withdrew the hand on her shoulder, sat properly in his seat, and waited with her for the waiter to serve the meal.
