Chapter 1404: Both of You, Calm Down for a While
Thomas Fisher and Anthony started a new round of bickering again. Seeing this situation, Alice Turner was extremely frustrated, but she couldn’t think of a good way to resolve it at the moment.
"Both of you, give me a break for a while. I won’t go eat. You two can do whatever you want." In this situation, Alice was really worried that the two of them would make a bigger scene once they went out. She didn’t want to be the center of attention for the spectators again like at noon.
Thomas was about to let go of Alice’s hand, but hearing her words, he suddenly changed his mind and once again gripped her hand tightly. "Skipping meals is not an option. I won’t stoop to his level. I promise I will behave and just have the meal."
After saying that, he stopped looking at his rival and withdrew his gaze, pulling her along and opening the door to leave the room.
"Wait for me, I won’t make a fuss either."
Anthony called out as he followed, reaching out to hold Alice’s other hand as he caught up.
Alice looked at the two people each holding one of her hands and frowned in frustration. She attempted to struggle and shake off their hands, but she couldn’t free herself.
"Can you both let go of me? I can walk on my own, and I can do it perfectly well." Being pulled by the two of them on either side, she felt like a fugitive being captured by policemen standing beside her.
As Alice said this, she stood her ground, refusing to move forward. She didn’t want to be dragged along by the two of them, as it would attract even more attention from onlookers.
"Let go of my woman!"
"Let go of my wife!"
Anthony and Thomas simultaneously turned to face each other, and their words carried the same meaning. The expressions on their faces were remarkably similar too.
Seeing this situation, Alice shook her head helplessly and sternly said, "Both of you let go of me, or don’t blame me for going crazy."
She hadn’t intended to lose her temper, but she really couldn’t take it anymore. She felt that if she continued to endure, something unbelievable might happen.
"Alice, don’t be angry. I won’t argue with him anymore, I’ll let go immediately." Seeing that Alice was indeed getting upset, Thomas quickly released her hand, no longer stubbornly holding onto her. She was right beside him, so he just had to keep his eyes on her.
Seeing Thomas loosen his grip, Anthony also withdrew his hand. "I won’t argue with him either, please don’t be angry, alright?"
Anthony glanced at Thomas unpleasantly, then shifted his gaze to Alice, with an apologetic look on his face.
"Let’s order takeout and go back." Alice said this to Anthony, as for Thomas, she had to be a bit ruthless with him.
As she turned to walk toward the room door, she suddenly realized a problem: She forgot to take the room card when Thomas pulled her out.
Seeing her frozen in place, Anthony quickly asked, "What’s wrong?"
"I forgot to take the room card when I came out just now." Alice glanced at the room door, then raised her empty hands to show Anthony, letting him know she forgot to take anything when she left the room.
"Then let’s go to my room."
Anthony’s room was right next to Alice’s. He took her hand and headed towards his own room.
Seeing this, Thomas didn’t hesitate for a moment. He caught up and blocked their way, "Just ask the waiter to open the door, no need to go through the hassle of going to your room."
