Raydor Holy Sword War Journal
6. Alliance Master
"Oh man... I chilled my liver 'cause I'm late home!
"Sorry about that. Be late."
Defeating Catastro Org, Raydor was sitting opposite Zaphis in the Adventurer's Guild. Tea and tea treats for two are placed on the table.
Only Raydor and Zaphis are on this occasion. Other adventurers were working to recover the remains of Catastro Org and repair the fences and traps on the town's outer walls.
Catastro Org is a disaster-class demon, and if he comes out in flocks like this one, one or two of the towns, he can be lightly annihilated.
The material is therefore very rare and all parts of the body are traded at high prices.
The skin is used as a protective material, and the bones are melted and mixed with iron to produce a stiffer and sharper alloy. Visceral organs are said to be the ingredients of medicine, and meat is said to be mixed with livestock feed of things that are not intended for human consumption, which makes cattle and sheep grow bigger and more successful.
Dozens of Catastro Org wrecks could no longer be called Treasure Mountains, and adventurers were happy to encourage post-processing for rewards.
"You don't have a choice. The guy from Idras is getting a lot sticky. This is why I don't like the gold-eating noblemen plated all the way up to my guts."
Raydor throws up abominably and pours his tea into his mouth in a sudden "probably" manner.
At the beginning of the Catastro Org raid, Raidor was away from the pioneering city because he was visiting Count Idras, the lord of the next town.
I was staying in the town of Idras for a discussion over the ownership of the silver mine vein found on each other's territorial boundaries, but my return was slower than planned as a result of the perseverance of the greedy nobles in claiming their rights.
Hearing about the raid by Catastro Org and rushing back to town made the discussion annoying, and he was to give a lot of concessions about his mineral rights.
"That was tough. But well. Thank God you're back."
Zaphis grabbed the teapot in his hand with a touch of nerve on Raydor, who drank tea in one breath. "Nevertheless," he switches topics as he pours a replacement cup.
"That was a brilliant fight earlier. Even in the Imperial Alliance headquarters. That's how much he can fight. Yes. As a demon swordsman, you will have no more enemies."
"Hey, as a swordsman, I'm still... sounds like that's what you're saying?
"Huh, if you fought with swordsmanship, you'd still be my enemy. There is no Alliance Master on the border at Dade. Don't lick it, young man!
Raydor shrugged her shoulders, grinning bitterly at Zaphis, laughing at her karakara.
Raydor still has no head up against Zaphis, the sword master and guardian in the pioneering city.
From a standpoint, Raydor, who is royal and lord, is better up there, but naturally because he is my brother and the substitute for me for picking myself up abandoned from the country.
"But I spared my mineral veins. I guess I had one of those over here, didn't I?
"Seems so. Idras didn't admit it."
It was a silver mine found on the border with Count Idras' territory, but it ended up ceding its rights at 8: 2. The damage will never be small.
"Not at all. If I hadn't given you that much, you wouldn't have come home quietly."
It must have been Count Idras who was more than happy to attack Catastro Org.
No matter how royal Raydor is, given the size of the territory, his influence in the southern part of the kingdom of Zayn increases in armaments to Idras. Even in an emergency, it is unacceptable to cut up an easy discussion and take a seat.
Concession of rights to end the discussion was unavoidable.
"I'm sorry. I wish we could have protected it all by ourselves..."
"I don't mind. This is my territory. It's my hometown. It's natural to rush to protect what you put down."
Raydor responded with a teacup raised to Zaphis, who lowered his brow butt in regret. Include a bite of tea and laugh like a boy prank.
"Besides... I think Idras will be crying soon, huh?
"Hmm? What do you mean?
"That place is part of the border, too. It means it's not a safe place."
"Oh... you mean that"
Listening to Raydor's response, Zaphis gets a sympathetic look. On his head emerged a greedy earl who collapsed in unexpected pain.
newly discovered silver mineral veins. The area is also a danger zone where many demons emerge.
Regularly pioneering city adventurers have not become a major problem so far because of their demonic thinning, but cutting and pioneering there should make mining more difficult than Idras expects.
"Let's pull the adventurer out of that area for a while. That's not a problem."
"Do that. Well... how long do we have to do this?"
Raydor shook his shoulders and laughed.
As the two expected, Count Idras, who immediately began developing silver mines, was to suffer enormous damage by losing many miners and soldiers of his escorts as a result of repeated demonic raids.
It was then a month later that Idras had asked for a demon crusade on condition of a significant transfer of silver mine rights.
