Reincarnated as a Half-God with SSS Abilities

The summer was finally winding down and Brie asked Sora a strange question that he didn't know the answer to either.

"Uh, babe, what year is it?"

"I honestly have no clue… and we run this planet… that's kinda bad isn't it?"

"Not really, it's 7445," Levi said politely.

"You lived in Paradise for 8 years, remember? That would throw anyone off," Sasha added with a laugh.

"Maybe we're not fit for this whole king and queen thing anymore with our family," Brie shrugged.

"I don't think there's anyone better and I don't think anyone is in a race to take the position from you with Hades' impending attack. Not that they wouldn't help us, but ya, jobs all yours!" Dorian, who was visiting, teased.

"What about Diana? Are we really going to allow her to live here? Her parents really wanted that to happen. They really want her with you and dad, Celeste and Eris to learn how to become a goddess, that's what we do right–help people out?" Xander pleaded.

"I'm sure that's the ONLY reason you want her to live here," Sasha laughed, hard.

"Oh come on!" Emery added.

"Seriously bro be more obvious about it," Emma teased.

"You already don't have to go back to school and are going to be home schooled by Sera, Leila and Ignis and now you get to have your girlfriend live here too, tread carefully young one," Pride added.

"You all realize I'm standing right here right?" Diana said embarrassed.

"Pride, you have a letter by the way and of course you can live here Diana. It's not like we're going to make you go through this alone. Just had to give Xander a hard time is all, especially now that you both are 16. Only so many more years before that kid just turns us all 100," Brie glared.

"And you'd still look 20!" Xander exclaimed.

"Too easy babe," Sora laughed.

"What's this letter you speak of and why did I get it?"

"Dont' know, came from Nexus. Give it a read." Sora said while handing it to him.

"Dear Pride,

You are the last known heir of Azazel and Helen, therefore, you are entitled to their lifesum of 1,075,087,787 ultravites and pending investments. Please feel free to reach out at anytime at 708-898 at my direct line. Kind regards, Mrs. Michelle Finch."

"Uh, Sora."

"Sup Pride?"

"I think you should read this…"

"Sure, what's, holy how many planets did they rob?" Sora shook his head.

"I'd like to split it with the party." Pride said calmly.

"That's awfully generous, but what you do with your money is up to you!" Brie said sweetly.

"I guess we're going to Nexus!" Xander exclaimed.

"Can Diana come?"

"XANDER!" Brie yelled.

Can't blame a kid for trying.

Pride, Brie, Sora, the twins, Xander and Diana loaded up in one of the larger spacecrafts and headed off to Nexus. Pride felt really strange being on one of these and wondered why Xander didn't just portal them over.

"Consider it kind of like… a mini family trip. It's no fun if Xander just takes us wherever we want or we just teleport wherever. Plus it's not good for the twins to get in that habit because they can't make portals," Sora explained.

"Yes but they can do some extraordinary things. It's almost like they feed off each other's strength, I've never seen anything like it."

"Either have we, we've kind of just learned to roll with whatever happens. I can't believe we didn't know what year it was though, that was embarrassing. Do you ever lose track of time?"

"All the time. I've been alive since this planet's inception basically, so if you consider that I've been alive for just under 4,000 years then yeah, age literally just becomes a useless number without any meaning."

"That's a scary thought." Brie said with rosy cheeks.

"Not really. Now at least I get time to atone for my sins whereas you and your family can just pass on to Paradise whenever you'd like. I'm sure you'll be given a formal job as god and goddess and can live out the rest of your lives happily."

Brie and Sora smiled at the thought.

"That would certainly be better than all this fighting but it'd be hard not seeing everyone in the party. We have so many immortal people in it." Brie added.

"Do you not think they wouldn't all just travel to Paradise as well? Demons can die, so can vampires. They go into eternal slumber and eventually pass away from lack of blood and flesh, peacefully. Uthra live long lives, so do elves but eventually they will pass away. The only ones I'm not sure on are Ignis and Leila, they could live forever if they wanted too. I know Leila was around since before the creation of Exteria and Ignis was created from the Earth's son's destruction, so, if you think about it, you'll always have your party close to you."

Sora thought about it for a moment. "I doubt she'll want to go anywhere anytime soon if her race is being revived. I can't believe a phoenix and a dragon had a dragon!"

"Pretty cool what Athena can do," Pride said calmly.

"So why did you just blindly follow orders for so long?" Brie asked nervously.

"You don't have to be nervous around me Brie, well, you only are when you ask personal questions, but it's because that's how and why I was created. It has been implanted into my DNA and into my head since I was created. Follow orders or die. I didn't exactly want to die because I knew I'd go to the Underworld so I just kept fighting to live. Nothing more, nothing less."

"So when you had orders to kill me, why didn't you?"

"My orders weren't to kill you. My orders were to force Sora into a choice into saving you or saving someone else he loved, and well, it kind of worked, but I didn't realize his eye magic was powerful enough to stop it just long enough to absorb most of the blow. He is a lot more selfless than I and the fact he was willing to give his life for you should speak volumes to his character and why no one else should lead as King and Queen. Also, why did it take Sasha so long to marry Levi?"

Brie was about to cry but that made her and Sora burst out in laughter.

"That's the million dollar question isn't it? They've been with us since literally day 2 and it took them that long to figure it out," Sora said before quickly signaling everyone to be quiet. They could overhear Diana and Xander talking. Pride didn't get it, but he was starting too.

"So we aren't going back to school at all?" Diana asked.

"Nope, no need. Sera, Ignis, Leila and the party can teach us the stuff we don't know and you're a goddess now! I know it probably sucks you won't get to see your friends every day, but you have the party, me, and they can come over whenever they want!"

"It's not that, it just feels scary, everything that's coming."

"I know but you can't look at it like that anymore! You can't be afraid to die because even if you do, you just end up with Nana Fena in Paradise anyway." Xander said with a reassuring smile.

"I'm not afraid of dying, I'm afraid of my soul shattering Xander!" Diana started crying in his arms.

"Hey, it's ok, I know. I'm afraid of that too sometimes but I can always just rewind time and make sure that doesn't happen." Xander said while giving her a big hug and trying everything he could to make her feel better.

"What if you can't? What if it's just destined to happen?"

"You haven't seen it happen have you?"

"No, I haven't…and my block is gone so I see everything with you again."

"Really?! Isn't that a good thing?"

She finally stopped crying. "Yes and no. I mean yes because we're happy and this war is eventually over but then there's visions where we both die and we end up in Paradise."

"But never any visions where our souls are shattered right?"

"No… but still, do you think we can go back to Paradise and get a block put on it?"

"Sure, we can try." Xander said while opening a portal.

"Mom, dad," Xander called.

"Yes son."

"If we're not back for a few days I'm sorry you didn't get to see me turn 18. You still have Emery and Emma. There's just something I have to do for Diana, is that ok?"

Sora and Brie made him come over to him and hugged him and gave him tons of kisses on the cheek and forehead.

"Yes, that's fine. Remember though, you were the one who wanted us to come back as a family so don't stay up there forever. Two days, that's it Mister. I'm praying to Athena now so she knows."

"Ok, got it. I love you both very much and thank you. I'm sorry. I'd ask you to come with…"

"We know Xander, it's ok. You're almost an adult now. Go take care of the new goddess." Brie said with one last hug.

'Athena, if you're listening, please don't let Xander and Diana stay for more than two Exterian days. I know his life has already been extraordinary in so many different ways but I don't want to miss all of it either. For your honor.' Brie prayed.

Xander made a portal from the ship to Paradise and Athena was waiting.

"Well, we only have two years so let's get going!"
