Himmel roared and drew Naraka, swinging it wildly.

The crimson blade, capable of splitting mountains, raced towards Morningstar.

Morningstar’s pupils burned with extreme madness beneath the layer of coldness in his eyes.

Upon witnessing Naraka, Morningstar subconsciously raised his hand, blocking the strike.

The blade hit the forearm of the giant, and the shockwave rattled through the city.

But the strike couldn’t leave behind even a single mark.

Morningstar was completely fine.

Himmel’s pupils shrank as he swung the blade with lightning speed.

However, the strikes couldn’t do anything and failed to leave even the slightest ripple in the monster’s expression.

Morningstar let out an unnerving laugh.

"Your strikes mean nothing, brother! You aren’t as strong as you used to be!"

He clenched his fist and pulled his arm back, creating a suction force that dragged Himmel towards him.

"Your death is inevitable!!!"

The world seemed to slow down as his fist moved too fast for Himmel to react.

The inhuman punch hit him like a storm, sending Himmel flying away.

BOOOOOOM!!!

Buildings shattered one after another as his body tore through them.

His vision blurred violently as blood erupted from his mouth.

Before he could even regain his bearings, his body crashed through the outer wall of the city and continued flying for several more kilometers.

Only after carving a massive trench through the earth did he finally come to a stop.

’Fuck!’

His organs felt as though they had been crushed into paste.

The hand holding Naraka trembled uncontrollably.

Himmel drew in deep breaths and quickly tried to get up when the sky above him darkened.

As though distance itself held no meaning to him, Morningstar arrived in no time.

The giant looked down at him with a disappointed expression.

"Pathetic."

His voice echoed across the world.

"I spent thousands of years imagining our reunion."

Morningstar descended slowly.

"Do you know how many times I imagined killing you?"

Himmel forced himself back to his feet.

His broken body regenerated desperately.

Yet the speed of healing was far slower than the damage he had suffered.

A disappointed look appeared on Morningstar’s face as he looked down at him.

"You don’t even remember."

His voice carried an indescribable hatred.

"You don’t remember how much I hated you."

His massive body floated farther back as he spoke.

"Stand up, worm. I still want to enjoy your death."

A violent shockwave erupted across the plains as Morningstar vanished from his position.

Himmel’s instincts screamed.

Without hesitation, he swung Naraka towards his right.

CLANG!!!

A deafening metallic shriek erupted into existence.

The crimson blade trembled violently in his hands as Morningstar’s fist collided against it.

The impact shattered the earth beneath Himmel’s feet.

Kilometers of land collapsed instantly.

Before Himmel could recover, a second fist crashed into his stomach.

BOOOOM!!!

The surrounding air detonated like a supernova.

His body folded around the punch before being launched into the horizon like a cannonball.

Several mountains exploded apart as he tore through them.

Yet before he could hit the ground again, Morningstar appeared above him.

A massive hand wrapped around his face.

The world tilted as his fading vision turned towards the sky before his body was slammed into the ground once again.

BOOOOOOOM!!!

A crater dozens of kilometers wide appeared instantly, and the shockwave reached nearby cities moments later.

At the center of the devastation, Morningstar stood calmly while pinning Himmel down.

"Do something brother."

From what little strength Himmel could muster, he whispered,

"Pillar of Light."

The sun bloomed like a flower above him, and the next instant a condensed beam of light struck Morningstar.

BOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

The impact swallowed everything within sight.

An ocean of golden radiance erupted outward in all directions, tearing apart clouds, flattening distant forests, and illuminating half the continent beneath its brilliance.

For a brief moment, the world became nothing but light.

Himmel immediately rolled away from the center of the crater while forcing his battered body to obey him.

"REJECTION OF TIME!!"

His scream echoed within the light as a grey layer covered the entire area.

Without hesitation, Himmel found Morningstar within the frozen world.

Not wanting to give his opponent even a second to breathe.

Himmel appeared behind him through spatial movement and drove Naraka towards the back of his neck with every ounce of strength he possessed.

Ding!!

The sound of metal colliding echoed, making Himmel freeze in place.

Even Naraka couldn’t cut through the dragon’s neck.

With a grin, Morningstar flexed his muscles.

Thousands of cracks spread through reality itself.

Through sheer strength alone, he broke through the cage of time.

His enormous body appeared before Himmel once again.

"DO YOU KNOW HOW LONG I WAITED FOR THIS MOMENT!!"

His punch struck Himmel’s chest, sending him flying away.

"I TRAVELED FASTER JUST TO ARRIVE EARLY, EVEN IF IT HARMED MY BODY!!!"

BOOOOOOOOM!!!

Another punch caved in Himmel’s chest and launched him through the atmosphere like a meteor.

Layers of clouds exploded apart one after another as blood scattered behind him, forming a crimson trail across the sky.

The only thing keeping him conscious was pure stubbornness.

Before he could regain control over his flight, Morningstar appeared above him once again.

The dragon’s enormous hand descended like the judgment of absolute strength.

Himmel twisted his body at the last second.

The palm missed him by mere centimeters.

Yet the pressure generated from the attack alone shattered the surrounding air and sent him spiraling downward.

"TRY HARDER, BROTHER!!!"

With explosive force, Morningstar rushed towards him once again.

Himmel got hold of his body and fixed his stance midair.

Unfolding his wings, he stared directly into the eyes of the First Dragon.

As Morningstar pulled his hand back for another punch, Himmel whispered,

"Sun Disk."

A disk-like object appeared in front of him, shielding his body.

The punch hit the disk, and cracks immediately spread across its surface.

But it still did its job.

In an instant, thousands of cuts appeared across the dragon’s arm as his own energy was transferred back to him.

"Oh?"

A look of amusement appeared on his face.

"Amun-Ra’s blessing?"

The countless cuts covering his arm regenerated almost instantly.

Himmel let Naraka return to his arm before he returned to the basics.

He used ’Naqsal’, the First Blessing of Amun-Ra to gain full control over the energy around them.

Then he braced himself and used ’Sefīgá’, the Second Form of the blessing.

The endless mana within his body transformed into kinetic energy stored inside his arm.

The grin on the dragon’s face only grew wider.

"You really think you can beat me?" he asked casually. "Try your worst."

Himmel burst towards him in an instant.

---

On the other side.

The group that had been with Himmel a short while ago looked back at the destruction caused by Morningstar.

The howling and crying of those within the city echoed in the background.

Shyamal bit her lip as she turned to glare at Aimar.

"Why did you pull me out!?"

The young man turned to look at her.

"So he could focus on the fight." He replied. "With you around, he would worry more about you than himself."

Shyamal clenched her fists.

"You think I would only get in the way?"

"No." Aimar looked back towards the distant battlefield where the sky itself was being torn apart. "I think you would die."

His blunt answer silenced her.

Another explosion echoed from the horizon.

BOOOOOOOOM!!!

A wall of wind swept across the land moments later, shaking buildings despite the enormous distance separating them.

Christina whispered worriedly. "He can’t defeat the First Dragon alone."

Her body was still glowing with the golden hue of the Avatar.

Nymeria, who stood beside her, wore the same dreadful expression.

Elijah turned towards her. "Is there a way I can help him—?"

"Don’t bother." Aimar cut him off. "We will only be a burden."

"That doesn’t mean we should just stand here!?" Shyamal yelled in frustration. "There is definitely something we can do!"

Just as Aimar was about to respond, the hammering of the sky stopped.

The glow covering the bodies of the two elves burned even brighter.

Instinctively, the two of them began moving towards each other.

"What is happening?" Aimar asked, alarmed by the changes.

But Christina and Nymeria seemed unable to hear him.

The golden runes covering their skin had spread far beyond their arms.

Ancient symbols flowed across their necks, faces, and even their eyes.

Both women continued walking forward as though being pulled by an invisible force.

"Christina!"

Zenith rushed forward and grabbed her shoulder.

The moment contact was made, a pulse of golden light exploded outward.

She was thrown back several meters before Aimar caught her.

The light condensed around the two elves before slowly beginning to disappear.

Now, instead of two elves, a completely different person stood there.

Someone who possessed a mixture of both their features.

...Someone who carried the beauty and radiance of a goddess.

Without a word, the person vanished from the spot.

Seeing this, Shyamal also rushed towards the explosions.

Aimar turned to look at Zenith, Epione, and Elijah, who all wore determined expressions.

"Fuck me." Aimar whispered in an odd tone.
