After walking around for some time and realizing that everywhere was the same, the couple retraced their steps back to the underground city.

"That is not a bad plan. After all, if the strength of everyone in the base could improve, then the next alien attack could be handled with more ease and losses would be reduced." Uncle Li agreed with their plan.
"But won’t it be too risky?" Li Yunjia asked with concern.
"Everyone in the apocalypse is risky, but only when we are willing to take risks can we reap rewards. Mom, imagine how much stronger we would be if we had been meditating with that meterorite everyday and not just when we have the time to enter the space? Even though inside the space, the meteorite is safer, it is also not being put to good use. Now that we are all stronger, we can definitely protect ourselves. So, let’s take a risk." Leng Pan coaxed her mother-in-law slowly.
She didn’t want to force her, but she hoped that she would agree.
She understood her mother-in-law’s worries, but if they kept being so conservative, then they would never surpass those aliens, not to mention the fast-evolving zombies.
"Alright, I am old and don’t get many things. So, you young people can make the decisions and we will follow your lead." Li Yunjia finally said.
Sh understood that with her son and daughter-in-law’s experience, they could have accomplished more, yet, because of the older generation, they had reservations.
If they kept holding them back, then even she would feel uncomfortable.
"That’s good. Hubby, you better start digging. The fastest we do this, the better. If someone notices a change, we can always lead the public opinion towards associating it with the recently emerged locusts." Leng Pan hurriedly urged her husband to start digging.
She would never confess that she actually just wanted to watch her husband holding a hoe or other digging tools excavating the earth with his own hands.

So, he pretended not to see and went to choose a spot in the courtyard to dig.
After some discussion, Uncle Li suggested that instead of digging in the vegetable patch where someone might get ideas and dig deeper in the name of farming, they should dig on the spot they had designated for constructing a small pavilion to enjoy tea and rest.
Once the ground work was set in stone, it won’t be easy to excavate in the future, especially with the stone underground facilitating a strengthening effect over time.
Thus, the plan changed and Leng Pan expanded her barrier to cover the entire courtyard before Lu Zhen, Lu Hao, and Uncle Li got to work.
After digging a hole that was two meters deep, the meterorite was placed inside and the hole was quickly filled and covered.
After that, concrete was poured on top and the construction of a pavilion continued.
Due to their superpowers, the three worked quickly and a pavilion that would normally take construction workers two days to complete, was done in a few hours.
When the barrier dissipated, a brand new pavilion appeared in the eyes of everyone within the Lu and Li family courtyard.
This didn’t raise any suspicions since the rich were used to some luxuries and a pavilion is barely considered a luxury.
"Luckily, it is further underground and the effect of the stone is not that pronounced above ground. However, while we are underground, some people might still discover some clues." Li Yunjia said after the family settled down for dinner.
When Leng Pan first brought out the meterorite, a lot of energy rushed into the bodies of those standing close.
Luckily, they placed it into the hole dug out by the men and it was covered instantly. So, even if people felt something, it just felt as if it was a wave of energy rushing through that disappeared in the blink of an eye.
Moreover, their luck was good because the time they buried the meteorite coincided with the passing of the locusts above.
Thus, many associated this wave of energy with the locusts.
Nonetheless, there was still more energy within the Lu family courtyard as the energy from the meterorite seeped int the surrounding environment.
Now, they can get double the results when they meditate using crystal cores.
"Mom, Uncle, Auntie, Ah Zhen and I plan to travel to different places to see if we can find more if that diamond stone." Leng Pan informed the elders.
The stone that made the buildings tougher had been named diamond stones due to their hardness.
"Don’t we already have one that can protect our base, why would you want to go look for more? It is dangerous." Even though Li Yunjia had told herself not to interfere too much with their decisions, she was still worried.
She was a mother after all, how could she not worry? Especially when these kids said they were going to roam around searching for those diamond stones.
Who knew where they could find more?
"Don’t worry, Mom. We are strong now and can protect ourselves. Besides, we can’t stay hidden here if we want to end the apocalypse. We must go out and search for solutions." Leng Pan continued to persuade the older woman.
"Let them go. You can’t clip their wings because you are worried. They will eventually face greater threats. So, it is better for them to get used to danger gradually." Uncle Li adviced his sister softly.
