Chapter 471: Indulgence
Before she could protest, she was kissed senseless and when she finally came back to her senses and realized what had happened, it was hours later when the scoundrel of a husband let her go.
She was too tired to even move a finger.
When she remembered how Lu Zhen had coaxed her into shouting his name at the top of her lungs and when she resisted he would stimulate her to the point of forgetting her own name, she felt both angry and embarrassed.
However, thinking that this was the husband she chose, she had no choice but to stiffle her anger and sigh.
She wondered if he was still insecure about their relationship.
"Never mind." She said as she dragged her tired body to the bathroom to take a hot bath so that she could recover.
Luckily, their intimacy only drained her during the activity, but once they are done, she recovers quickly and even gains strength from it.
So, she didn’t mind him indulging for hours.
After her bath, she walked out of the bathroom to find her husband in an apron cooking in the kitchen.
Since the apocalypse began, they hadn’t eaten the food they cooked by themselves. It was always uncle Li doing the cooking.
Even the food they had ordered from various restaurants before the apocalypse were still mostly there.
In fact, the stock had only become larger with Uncle Li adding more over time.
However, it seemed Lu Zhen decided to treat his wife to the food he personally cooked.
"Baby, you are awake. Come and eat." Lu Zhen turned to look at his wife when he heard the door to the bedroom open.
His face was adorned with the most brilliant smile Leng Pan had ever seen and his eyes were almost overflowing with affection.
Leng Pan felt her heart skip a beat and all the anger she felt after getting flipped over and over again like a pancake and being forced to shout his name vanished like smoke.
If she could see that smile every day, she wouldn’t mind shouting a few more times.
Geez! What was she thinking?
Was she really that lustful?
Leng Pan asked herself as she smiled back at her husband and walked to the dining table to sit down.
Once Lu Zhen was done placing all the dishes on the table, she walked over to the place his wife was seated and picked her up.
He then sat down on the chair and had her sit on his lap.
He was determined to pamper his wife to the end.
She didn’t have to do anything herself and he would even feed her.
Leng Pan almost thought she had become a cripple after one afternoon.
"I can eat by myself." She said as she looked at the spoon filled with porridge near her mouth.
"I know, but I just want to treat you well. So, let me feed you." Lu Zhen insisted as he gently bit Leng Pan’s ear.
This small gesture made her shudder and her toes curl.
"If you are feeding just feed, no need to bite me." She protested but her voice carried a coquettish tone that seemed to encourage him to do more.
His breathing hitched and soon, Leng Pan could feel something pocking her butt.
"Don’t you ever get satiated?" She was shocked that he could get aroused so easily.
"I can’t help it. I desire you too much." Lu Zhen wasn’t shy about stating his feelings.
However, he didn’t plan to do anything to her now.
He was aware that he had tired her too much earlier and no matter how much he still wanted her, he wouldn’t take action.
"Eat and go to sleep. Your body needs rest." He urged as he brought the spoon to Leng Pan’s mouth.
Without another option, Leng Pan just decided to eat. Anyway, if he wanted to feed her, he could do it.
After she had eaten her fill, Lu Zhen carried the drowsy girl back to bed and tucked her in.
Then, he went back to clean up the kitchen.
Once he was done, he checked on his wife to make sure she had fallen asleep then he locked the door behind him and left.
When he walked into the courtyard, he was surprised to find some flowers and vegetables in the small yard that had been empty earlier.
It seemed that his aunt had come back and used her superpower to transform the place.
However, it was already night and most of the lights that had acted like the sun during the day were off, giving the place the illusion that night had fallen naturally.
So, everyone else was inside the house.
The apartment belonging to his mother had the door left a jar, so he could hear voices coming from inside.
He had already eaten with his wife, so he didn’t need to join the family for dinner.
Hence, he didn’t go inside and left the yard after only a glance.
When he walked into the street, Lu Zhen was surprised to find that many people had already moved in.
The place that had been quiet during the day was now bustling with noise.
Some people were still moving in while others had already settled in.
Some people had even opened stalls at the market and were selling different things in exchange for supplies.
Lu Zhen didn’t linger and headed towards the exit.
Since the disaster hadn’t arrived yet, the gate was left open.
Moreover, some people were still moving in, so it didn’t make sense to close it.
Once he was out of the underground city, he was greeted by warm air that nearly suffocated him.
Only now did he realize that the temperature in the underground city was much lower than on the surface.
He didn’t know whether that was good or bad, but for now, it seemed like a good thing.
After taking a deep breath, he took a step forward and headed towards the outskirts of the base.
No one knew where he was going as he walked without looking back.
