Chapter 1004: Part 1: Tier-3, 9th Rank - Mid Stage

Jeremy Night told her to wait in the lobby before going toward the practice room. Melinda nodded to him before sitting in the waiting area.
She then took her device and began to check her inbox. What Jeremy didn’t know was that she had been sending updates to Head Harold regarding Jeremy Night.
She was receiving responses from Head Harold as well.
She received the last response yesterday, but she hadn’t gotten one since this morning. She was sure that Head Harold was not in the Red Moon Chamber.
She went to his office early before going to the hotel to see Jeremy Night. She didn’t know what was going on, but she would do her job.
Because of the beast tide incident, many of the organizations in the city had stopped Beast Tamers from going to the wilderness.
Only a few organizations remained, like the Beast Taming Association and the Central University. Some big families had yet to put forth a ban, but the rest of the small and medium-sized families had a ban in place.
She was lost in her own thoughts.
Meanwhile,
Jeremy Night entered the practice room. He turned on the switch. The natural energy flowed out from the inlet.
It began to spread across the room. Jeremy Night felt the natural energy.
Buzz!
The unknown beast egg inside the mental zone reacted right away. He felt a big jolt. It was a strong response.
He didn’t waste time. He came to the middle of the room and sat cross-legged on the ground. The natural energy appeared like a funnel above the unknown beast egg.
The unknown beast egg absorbed the natural energy non-stop. Seeing that, Jeremy decided to start the breathing method.
He then closed his eyes and began to run the breathing method.
As time passed, the natural energy entered his body and flowed around it. The hungry cells had become activated again. They showed a strong craving.
They started to absorb the natural energy as well. Jeremy Night immediately felt that he could break the limits this time.
Time passed.
He continued to focus on the process. The unknown beast egg showed no sign of stopping. He too felt his physique reaching its limit.
But it was the feeling he had felt the last time. Now he was feeling the same again. But he didn’t stop hoping.

Meanwhile,
In the wilderness, the City Governors and Head Harold continued to hold their positions. None of them left, including the family heads under them.
As they had expected, the fighting was intense last night. Some of them were injured. They had underestimated the cunningness of the venomous beasts.
Fortunately, everyone had come prepared, so there were no life-threatening injuries. Everyone cooperated with each other to avoid such an incident.
But it was not the end. The mid-tier beasts continued to gather in large numbers. If they were left unchecked, they could attack the city next.
The other two City Governors and Head Harold had a change of mind. They disliked the higher number of mid-tier beasts. Their numbers had crossed 200.
This number was equal to 200 Tier-5 Beast Tamers. Though their city might have a large number of Tier-5 Beast Tamers, not all of them could fight toe-to-toe against the corrupted beasts.
Some had differences in their awakened abilities, while some had support-type lifeline beasts.
So this 200 number actually appeared small, but it had crossed a dangerous threshold. Head Harold frowned. He wanted to discuss it with City Governor Martin right away.
He knew the City Governor might have bigger plans, but they couldn’t ignore the mid-tier beasts. The improved powder was attracting them continuously like honeybees.
Harold took his device out to call Martin, but he couldn’t get a connection. The connection was weak, and he couldn’t leave his post.
So he turned toward the others. He ordered one of the people he knew to share the message with City Governor Martin.
If they didn’t take care of the mid-tier beasts soon, the mid-tier beasts might charge toward the city.
Hearing that, one of the Beast Taming Family Heads left the place. Seeing that, the others were reassured. They were worried that Martin would ignore the threat, so the rest of them sighed in relief.
Similarly,
The other two Governors had the same idea. They sent out one of their team members to inform City Governor Martin.
It didn’t take long for City Governor Martin to see those people. After hearing the request from these three people, Martin fell into thought. He still wanted to catch the big fish.
He was afraid that a disturbance might alert the real threat.
Seeing that City Governor Martin was pondering, the others were afraid. Even the family heads under City Governor Martin started persuading him.
Finally, City Governor Martin listened to everyone. He gave orders to three Tier-7 Beast Tamers in each team to take care of the threat.
The three Tier-7 Beast Tamers were more than enough to handle the threat. After hearing the orders, the three Tier-7 Beast Tamers left the place.
Similarly, the other representatives returned to inform their leaders.

Jeremy Night reached his limit today. He tried to push forward with the natural energy, but it was his ultimate limit.
He was waiting for the unknown beast egg to break the limit first.

It didn’t take long for that to happen. The unknown beast egg broke the limit and reached the other end.
Tier-3, 9th Rank - Mid Stage
After breaking the limit, the unknown beast egg continued to absorb the natural energy.
Seeing that, Jeremy Night heaved a huge sigh of relief. He knew each breakthrough stage from Tier-1 took a longer time.
He was not even a Tier-4 Beast Tamer yet, but it took longer. He knew it was better than many A-Rank Talents. His speed was comparable to some S-Rank Talents.
So he was not disappointed. He was happy with the speed. Next, he was waiting for the unknown beast egg to give back the feedback energy.
