He checked the surroundings along the way. The morning looked peaceful. There were sounds of normal insects.

He used his eye power. His vision covered the surroundings. Its range covered a large distance.

The minute details and other information about the terrain reached his brain. He confirmed that corrupted beasts were not here.

He had to make a decision next. His strategy of going to deeper areas in the daytime was working out well. He was going to do the same next.

What’s more? He was yet to find the place where natural treasures were available. Next, he took out the device.

He began to view the map. The wilderness map here was incomplete. The updated one was done by the main elders.

But the habitat of the corrupted beasts changes every time. Even the main elders had to collect the information again.

Jeremy saw the area of the abandoned valley, the lone mountain, and a few other spots he had visited earlier.

Yesterday, he explored a new place as well. Before he could completely explore the place, he had encountered the Tier-6 Worm Beast there.

Next, he put away the device. He looked ahead and started going in that direction. He didn’t use the Feathered Steps.

He was on a regular run. He was using the regular run as exercise. It was hard to navigate on the ground.

There was dense vegetation grown over human height. It was a waste of time to clear them out. He thought it was best to use the tree branches.

He was hopping over one tree branch after another.

Jeremy Night was agile and fast. He didn’t know when he felt a sudden inspiration. Because of the close combat technique, he was able to start training with his muscles.

He had started controlling his body during that practice, so he didn’t push himself hard. He was using his eyes to gather information.

He landed on a firm branch and propelled forward. He was moving forward at a constant speed.

The path ahead was clear. He then noticed the series of shade trees coming to an end. He saw palm trees coming to an end.

In the blink of an eye, he landed on the last tree branch. The shade trees were no more. He could only see redwood trees and hemlock trees.

There were tall trees without strong branches. He could not land on them, so he landed on the ground.

He had almost entered the deeper area of the wilderness. He used his eye power to find open land. He then saw an open patch of land not far away from him.

Swoosh!

He then went to the place. After arriving at the place, he looked around. His gaze fell on a rock.

Jeremy Night then sat on the rock. He was going to use himself as bait again. He saw the redwood trees standing like pillars. Their branches rose up to the sky.

Similarly, the hemlock trees’ branches were providing cool shadow. He was not affected by the hot sunlight. He could spend the rest of the day here.

He then thought of food. Before coming to the wilderness, he had prepared something. He then checked his storage ring.

He picked an energy bar from the storage ring. The energy bar was a special item from the special base. It was made from natural energy fruits.

He began to eat it. It would give him energy. At the same time, he was observing the place. Especially, his gaze observed the ground.

Ferns and fallen logs covered the edge of the vegetation. He looked at the sand grains.

The sand grains remained the same. It showed that worm beasts hadn’t appeared. So far, the place was quiet.

After finishing the energy bar, he stood up and began to stretch his hands and legs. He did a bit of exercise.

Then he shifted his attention to training. His blade skill had already entered the advanced stage.

So he shifted his attention to the close combat technique.

Though he didn’t have a puppet here for practice, he did training without a puppet. He tensed and relaxed his muscles. He used basic fist moves. While throwing punches, he created vibrations.

He was also using the help of natural energy to make the vibrations stronger. While doing the continuous training, he wanted to test the effect of the vibration attack.

His gaze fell on a wooden log not far away from him. It was a small piece of a redwood tree.

He walked over to the wooden log. He then crouched down and decided to use a punch.

First, he decided to use the vibration attack without using natural energy.

Next, he released the vibration fist attack. The attack landed on the wooden log.

Boom!

As the punch landed, the vibration force transmitted to the wooden log. It cracked the wooden log.

Seeing that, he was surprised. Next, he decided to use the same fist attack again, but without the vibration force.

Boom!

The same crack appeared in the wooden log, but he could tell the difference. The crack was not as big. He finally compared the two impacts.

He understood that the vibration attack was working out well. Next, he wanted to try the attack using natural energy.

Boom!

He circulated the natural energy and used the vibration attack.

As the punch landed on the wooden log, a strong vibration transmitted to the wooden log.

Boom!

The wooden log was completely broken and destroyed into pieces. Seeing that, he understood that the attack using natural energy was strong.

He once again began to train his close combat technique. As time passed, he began to improve his close combat skill.

He was trying a new method to maintain his rhythm. Obviously, he could not stop after landing one successful hit on the enemy.

For a continuous fight, he needed to maintain the vibration longer for the battle.
