Wilderness (5th Zone)

Jeremy Night saw the result. He was satisfied. He knew the blade technique with advanced skill and starlight power could bring the beast down.

All that was needed was one move to break the thick skin.

Since one more beast was down, he needed to take care of the remaining 13 beasts next.

As time passed, Jeremy Night did the same with the other beasts.

Pfff!

He executed one blade move after another. With the help of his eye power, he precisely struck at their vitals.

The blade filled with starlight power felt no resistance. The blood vessels were cut open. Even their internal organs were damaged.

Time passed.

He continued to attack the other beasts.

Cut!

The blade swept across the bodies of the beasts one by one.

It created an open gash, and blood continuously flowed out from their wounds.

After leaving behind a gash, he injured the next beast.

As time passed, the movements of the beasts slowed down. The bleeding was weakening them. All the beasts had received a blade wound.

Pfff!

Blood was draining from their bodies and forming pools on the ground. The beasts were not in a state to attack him anymore.

These Tier-5 Wild Buffaloes were stronger than the typical Tier-5 beasts native to this wilderness. This was certainly eye-opening for him.

Jeremy Night then thought of leaving. He had already injured them enough. The remaining 13 Wild Buffaloes would slowly bleed to death.

He then left the place and continued moving toward the border. His real targets were those Tier-6 beasts.

Elder John was meeting Elder Sandra in her office. Elder Sandra was sitting behind the desk. She had just heard what happened to Jeremy Night’s parents.

"So the kid is planning on staying there for a while?" Sandra asked.

Hearing that, Elder John replied, "He is worried that his injured parents might be forcibly recruited again."

"It’s the duty of every Beast Tamer to fight against the corrupted beasts to protect humanity. His parents are no different."

"I heard his father used to be one of the City Governors in the 14th Zone?" she asked.

Hearing that, John raised his eyebrows. He didn’t expect Elder Sandra to know this information.

"That’s right. His father was a former City Governor in the 14th Zone. Later, he was recruited by the same organization that recruited Jeremy Night," John said.

"I can understand the young man’s feelings, but it goes against the rules. If the City Governors there want everyone to participate, then there can be no exceptions," Sandra said.

As the head of the special base, how could she tolerate such a thing?

Sandra’s eyes flickered. She didn’t expect John to know about this matter. She realized that John had wider connections as well.

So they began discussing how to improve the strength of the second- and third-year students. They had resolved the Tier-9 Worm King problem not long ago.

The special base was experiencing a peaceful period. They could use this opportunity to provide intense training to the second- and third-year students.

If the Tier-6 and Tier-7 Beast Tamers were well-trained here, then they could face the challenges in the 3rd Zone.

Wilderness (5th Zone)

The Beast Tamers from the city were able to enter the wilderness on time. Upon reaching the core of the wilderness, they came into contact with the mid-tier beasts.

They rushed toward the border. Their lifeline beasts had already sensed the presence of the higher-tier beasts.

On the other hand, Melinda had rejoined the teams from the Red Moon Chamber. They were fighting as a team against the mid-tier beasts in the wilderness.

Even the Beast Tamers from Central University 5 and the Beast Taming Association had come in large numbers.

Catherine Rosewood and her friends had entered the battlefield. She had volunteered to participate in the battle despite having no permission from her family.

It was the same case for the other Central University students. They had decided to fight in the battle instead of hiding in their homes or on campus.

Meanwhile,

The Darkshade Organization, which was responsible for this chaos, was watching from the sidelines. They had achieved two goals with one strike.

They wanted to test the power of the improved Beast Powder, and they also wanted to reduce the power of the 5th Zone.

The overall power was determined by the population, especially the number of mid-tier to high-tier beast tamers across the entire zone and within each city.

Although two of their members were initially missing, they later found out that the members had been injured by passing high-tier beasts. They had returned to the city to recover.

Even without the help of those two members, they were able to execute the plan. There were no further orders from the higher-ups, so they were going to lie low for a while.
