After confirming the surroundings were safe, he took the storage containers outside.
Jeremy Night then collected a few corpses of the insect-parasite beasts. He collected those that were at least in good shape.
He could not carry the bits and pieces back to them.
After finishing with the storage, he decided to look for a place to stay.
Then he found another big shade tree. He carved out a similar tree hole and rested inside.

He made his return journey. He started using Feathered Steps to increase his speed. He was covering the distance at full speed.

He didn’t stop anywhere for a break. He was heading towards the special base. On the way, he came across corrupted beasts. He used his eye powers to avoid the beasts.
He didn’t want to waste time. It was the last day. He needed to return to the base.
He thought it was not wise to engage with them, so he took a detour when needed.
Time passed.
He returned to the base a few hours later. After entering the premises, he went to the administration building.
He arrived in front of the place. He entered and looked around. He saw the members and the elders.
The queues were still long as well. Everyone was doing missions on a daily basis, but he had taken a two-day mission.
He saw Elder Smith as well, so he stood in line and waited for his turn to come. The Beast Tamers received their missions and left the administration building.
Twenty minutes later, his turn came. He stepped forward.
He looked at Elder Smith and said, "I need to submit the mission materials."
Hearing that, Smith was not surprised. He asked staff for help to attend to others; he was going to verify the mission materials first.
Smith brought Jeremy Night to a room. He then read the mission description. Knowing that it was a mission related to the insect-parasite beasts, he was surprised.
Jeremy Night then took the containers outside and placed them on the floor one by one.
Elder Smith was taken aback. He knew how terrifying the insect-parasite beasts were. Recently, he had heard about their increase in population from the elders.
He didn’t expect them to issue a mission on this matter. He thought the other elders wanted to verify the facts.
He then proceeded to check the containers one by one. He confirmed that they were Tier-5 Insect-Parasite Beasts, they could even be Tier-6 beasts.
So what Jeremy Night had done was a huge achievement. For the mission report, he began to record the details from Jeremy Night.
"Their activity increases at night. I saw them latched to the backs of different land beasts," Jeremy replied.
"True, they hunt during the night. The corrupted beasts that come to the swamp to drink water were attacked by them," Smith replied with a serious face.
Hearing that, Jeremy raised his eyebrows. He thought there must be some news behind it.
"Everything is fine. Your points will be credited soon," Smith said.
"Thanks," Jeremy uttered. He was ready to go back, but he saw Elder Smith wanted to say something, yet was hesitating.
"Elder, is there anything on your mind?" he asked.
Smith said, "Year-end is coming soon. A few forces from the top three zones will arrive to recruit special talent from the base."
"They are mostly looking for S-Grade Tier-6 and Tier-7 Beast Tamers. They will select the top from the leaderboard rankings."
"You’ve got two more years, but I think it’s best for you to make a good impression before them," Smith added.
Hearing that, Jeremy was taken aback. His heart stirred; he didn’t expect to hear such shocking news. Unknowingly, they had gotten closer to the year-end.
But still, there were a few months left before the year-end.
Ten minutes later,
He left the administration building and went back to his room. After returning to his room, he texted Elder John that he had returned and was fine.
He immediately got a reply back.
[Good! Keep on training.]
He smiled. He was indeed working hard. He had even tested the damage output of his close-combat technique.
He then looked at his condition before entering the bathroom to take a shower. He spent twenty minutes in the bathroom.
After coming out, he changed into fresh clothes.
He felt refreshed. He then sat on the sofa and took his device out. He began to check his messages. He saw an update notification from the leaderboard rankings. The mission completion points were credited as well.
Then he rested on the sofa for some time before going to the bedroom to sleep.
The next morning,
He started his daily routine as usual. He decided to hit the training hard before thinking about selecting his next mission.
For the next stage breakthrough, he needed to accumulate points. The routine lasted for an hour.
He then entered the practice room. Next, he closed the door and turned on the switch. Natural energy began to fill the room.
When the natural energy had completely filled the room, he came to the middle and sat cross-legged on the ground.
He felt pure natural energy. He closed his eyes and began to run the breathing method. As time passed, the natural energy entered his body.
As the energy moved through his body, his hungry cells began to absorb the natural energy. He continued to repeat the process.

It didn’t take long for the unknown beast egg inside his mental zone to become active. The beast egg began to shake.
It began to absorb the natural energy, which gathered above the unknown beast egg like a funnel.
As time passed, the natural energy entered the unknown beast egg.
Seeing that the unknown beast egg was absorbing the natural energy, Jeremy Night sighed in relief.
He thought he would reach the next stage breakthrough soon.

At the same time, his device on the desk outside was buzzing non-stop. Someone was trying to connect with Jeremy Night.
But Jeremy Night was busy inside the practice room.
