Chapter 1018: Aid from Other Sides

City Governor Martin, Head Harold, and the other two Governors were looking toward the beast. They saw that the combination of so many attacks had done nothing.

The massive lizard shook its back like nothing had happened.
Martin’s eyes narrowed. He seemed to have made a serious decision.
He then turned toward one of the governors and said, "One of you will go and report to the Human Alliance higher-ups. The situation is serious. A Tier-9 Earth Lizard has shown its presence."
"I’m sure that hereafter, they can’t afford to remain silent. Also, send a request to nearby zones. We need the help of Tier-8 Beast Tamers from other zones," Martin added.
He felt slight displeasure when it came to the Human Alliance. He had already reported to them about the improved Beast Powder, but there had been no response from them.
One of the Governors agreed, and he left the place quickly.

Just then, massive thorny vines shot from the ground and began to wrap around the massive lizard.
The Tier-9 Lizard didn’t expect the appearance of the beast. It tried to move its body away. One after another, the vines tightened their grip on the beast’s body.
These vines all had thorns on their surface. While gripping, the thorns came in contact with the hard skin of the lizard.

They could easily be injured by the Tier-9 Beast’s attack. If their lifeline beasts were injured, the Beast Tamers wouldn’t be able to play a role in the battle.
The presence of each Tier-8 Beast Tamer was needed here to stop the Tier-9 Earth Lizard from marching forward.
The other Beast Tamers used their lifeline beasts to erect massive earth walls and domes. All of this was happening fast.

The Tier-9 Earth Lizard unleashed its sand attack. A swirling beam of sand shot from its tail.
Like a vortex, the beam traveled in a straight line, clearing everything in its path as it surged forward.

The sand walls were destroyed by the beam. They couldn’t hold on for even a couple of seconds.
Finally, the rest of the Beast Tamers used their lifeline beasts to launch attacks at the incoming sand vortex beam.
It didn’t take long for the attacks to collide with each other.

A massive explosion occurred. The shock force reverberated across the wilderness.
The surrounding five hundred meters were instantly destroyed.
The Tier-8 Beast Tamers braced for the impact. If the Tier-9 Lizard was not killed, it would continue to launch more attacks.

Elder John received a call from an official in the 5th Zone, City-A. He immediately learned about the appearance of the Tier-9 Earth Lizard.
His expression turned grim. Earlier, when a Tier-9 Black Centipede had appeared, it took five Human Alliance Lords to solve the problem.
He knew about the deaths of City Governor Leon and Tier-8 Beast Tamer Hill during that incident. If the lords had arrived earlier, they could have prevented the deaths of the two Tier-8 Beast Tamers.
