Chapter 1021: Tier-9 Lizard’s Power

In the blink of an eye, he shot the hyenas dead. All of them were killed, lying dead on the ground. The Beast Tamers there were left in disbelief.
They didn’t know who had rescued them. They started looking around.
Swoosh!
Jeremy Night appeared before them. His gaze swept across everyone.
"You guys are safe right now. You should leave for the city. And take her with you," Jeremy said to them.
The Beast Tamers saw that their rescuer was a Tier-4 Beast Tamer. It dumbfounded them, but they were already terrified by the situation earlier.
They didn’t have time to be in a daze. They went to their friend who was lying on the ground. The Deer Beast saw that they were safe; it disappeared and returned to her mental zone.
Then everyone else called their Lifeline Beasts back to their mental zones. They immediately left the place.
Jeremy Night watched them leave. When they were gone from his sight, he resumed his journey to look for others.
He was right in his decision. If he hadn’t come here, the group of Beast Tamers could have been killed by the bloodthirsty hyenas.
He was going to look for other Beast Tamers who needed a similar rescue.

The Tier-9 Lizard saw the incoming attack. It moved its head away to avoid it, but its back was exposed. The two flame beams landed on its back.
Boom!
A loud, deafening noise occurred. The shock force reverberated through the area.
The shock force was mixed with the power of the flames. It reduced the surrounding few hundred meters to ashes.
The aftermath didn’t stop there. The flames spread around, burning other dry trees and vegetation.
That was why elemental attacks were known for their deadliness. In particular, the flame attacks had raised the temperature of the area significantly.
Tremor!
The massive Tier-9 Beast shook its body. It caused quite a tremor across the ground.
The Tier-9 Lizard’s back was caught on fire. The explosive flames scorched its hardened skin.
If someone touched that hard skin right now, their hands and body would be burned by the flames. It would destroy them completely.
Roar!
The Tier-9 Lizard felt the pain. The beast felt the burning sensation and released a furious roar. The group of Beast Tamers had clearly enraged it.
On the other hand, everyone saw the beast.
The two flame attacks had injured the back of the beast. Smoke was rising from the back of the beast as a result of the attack.
Gasp!
The family heads exclaimed in surprise. None of their attacks had caused a dent in the beast, yet the attacks from the flame-type beasts had injured it.
The Head of the Beast Taming Association and the Dean of the Central University were not surprised by the result.
No beast could withstand the power of flames. The Tier-9 Lizard’s skin couldn’t handle the heat, especially when two Tier-8 flame-type beasts were involved.
The flame attacks released by the two Tier-8 beasts were powerful.
Martin saw the massive Tier-9 Lizard shaking in pain. He didn’t want to miss the opportunity.
"We shouldn’t stop. Let’s continue to attack," Martin said to Harold.
Harold nodded his head. They didn’t know what terrifying abilities the beast had.
They needed to weaken the beast before it resorted to using any abilities.
Roar!
The two Lifeline Beasts beside them received the command.
The Tier-8 Flame Lion and the Tier-8 Red Brown Beast released a roar from their mouths.
They were pumped up. It was rare to fight against a Tier-9 Beast, and they had gotten their chance right now.
Boom!
Both beasts began to launch their next attack. Red and orange beams began to form in their mouths.
Seeing that the beasts were ready to release another attack, the Beast Tamers moved further backward.
Only the Head of the Beast Taming Association and the Dean of the Central University stayed behind the two, ready to provide support.
Roar!
The Tier-9 Lizard sensed a threat. When it turned its head, it saw that the two flame beasts were ready to launch their attack.
It was pissed off. It immediately used its ability and raised its long tail.
Boom!
A sand vortex began to manifest before the tail. The vortex was quickly formed, spewing out rocks, pebbles, and stones.
If the attack were to land on the city, there would be nothing left. The infrastructure would be razed to the ground.
Boom!
But the Tier-9 didn’t stop there. It continued to charge the attack. A second sand vortex began to manifest next to the first one.
It caused the terrain around it to change; while forming, the second vortex sucked in the sand and rocks around it.
The size of the two vortexes was larger than the flames.
Seeing that, the faces of the Beast Tamers changed.
Governor Martin and Head Harold looked troubled. They knew Tier-9 Beasts had powerful abilities, which was one of the reasons that made them so formidable.
Boom!
The Flame Lion and the Red Brown Bear released their flame beams at the same time.
The two beams shot across in a straight line towards the lizard.
Roar!
The Tier-9 Lizard let out a roar. It was waiting for the attack. The next second, it shot out the two sand vortexes towards the beams.
Boom!
Like fast-moving tornadoes, the two sand vortexes moved towards the flame beams.
Boom!
It didn’t take long for the opposing attacks to collide with each other.
Silence!
There was silence at the point of collision.
Boom!
Followed by an ear-piercing blast, the aftermath caused a powerful shock force to ripple through the area.
The green patches and other vegetation, including tall trees and plants, were completely uprooted.
The already nearly burnt trees and ground were completely swept away by the shock force.
The Beast Tamers felt the mixture of both flame and earth power within the shockwave.
If any other Tier-7 or Tier-6 Beast Tamer had been here, they would have been easily killed by the aftermath.
