Chapter 990: Slaying the insect parasite beasts
Wet Swamp
The Tier-6 Anaconda was bleeding. Jeremy Night didn’t want to stop the attack. His blade skill entered the advanced stage.
He started using the blade move along with the skill. As time passed, the blade wounds began to increase on the beast’s body.

The scales of the snake were broken. Blood was spurting from the wounds. This time, he created a long open gash on the anaconda’s body.
Because of the blade skill, he didn’t feel any resistance. The blade was slicing through the flesh like tofu.

The anaconda beast’s body was riddled with open gashes. The gashes were huge and wide. Because of this, the loss of blood was huge.
It didn’t take long for the anaconda beast to stop moving. The bleeding had caused a pool of blood around it.

The beast stopped moving, and its massive head fell down to the ground.
The scene brought him a sigh of relief.
Jeremy then walked up to the beast. He looked towards the massive corpse. He saw various gruesome gashes.
Thanks to the advanced blade skill and the blade technique, he was able to injure the Tier-6 Beast.

The next second, he heard a rustling sound in the water. He turned his head and looked towards the swamp.
He could not see any beasts or vegetation. The water level was low. Yet he could hear the sound coming from the area.
He used his second eye power. He then saw the corrupted beasts in the wet swamp.
The corrupted beasts appeared to be small-sized snakes.

Under his eyes, he saw the snake-like beasts coming out of the swamp. But they were small in size. Their length was not above ten meters.
The height of the beasts was over 1 meter. The beasts were completely black in color.
Jeremy Night was stunned. Because he could see the beasts clearly right now, he saw they were insect parasite beasts. He had never seen an insect this big before.
No wonder it came under the corrupted category. It must have mutated.
The black insect parasite reached the anaconda corpse. In a flash, it entered the body through the open gash.
He used his eye power to observe. Then he saw a spectacular scene. The organs inside the anaconda beast began to shrink. The parasite was consuming the flesh of the dead beast.

Jeremy Night held the katana blade tightly. He saw through the strength of the beasts. They were all Tier-5 Corrupted beasts.
Slowly, he saw the corpse turn into a skeleton. All the flesh, blood, and inner organs were completely consumed by the insect parasite beasts.
It was time for him to attack. His mission didn’t set a limit. He could attack one or more than one.
He covered the blade’s edge with starlight thread. He moved towards the empty corpse. He saw the black insect parasites were inside.
Swoosh!
Just as he walked closer to the skeleton, a black snake-like parasite leaped at him. His senses screamed at him.
He used his eye power. The speed of the beast slowed down. Next, he swung the blade at the beast.
In a fraction of a second, his blade cut through the body of the beast. Blood splattered across the ground.
He didn’t stop there. He was afraid that the separated parts might act. So he attacked again before the parts could land on the ground.
His blade slashed through the cleaved parts. He made another separation. Next, four parts of the beast landed on the ground.
The insect parasite beast was completely dead.
His eyes flashed with relief.
Swoosh!
But he didn’t have time to take a break. The other beasts in the carcass leaped at him one after another.
"Explosive Steps"
He immediately used the movement method to create a gap. But his blade danced in mid-air.
Slash!
The starlight blade sliced through the bodies one after another. The sliced parts landed on the ground. They shook for a couple of seconds before stopping movement.
He then attacked the other beasts. It didn’t take long for him to completely kill them. He wanted the dead body of one beast, but he killed the rest of them as well.
Jeremy then made sure that the beasts were dead. Because he didn’t want the beasts to attach to himself. He would die then.
Next, he took out the container. He opened the cover. Then he began to store the corpses inside the container.
After doing that, he was free. He then stored the container inside the storage ring. He resumed his return journey.
Soon, he left the premises of the place. He came to an area of trees. He looked for a big tree. He found one and arrived in front of it.
He used the blade to carve out a hole. The hole was big enough for him to go inside. Next, he entered the tree hole and covered it with broken tree twigs and leaves.
After doing that, he began to rest. He didn’t expect to complete the mission so easily. But he knew it was all thanks to his eye powers.
If not for the eye power, he wouldn’t have found out the ability of the insect parasite beast. Then he wouldn’t have reacted fast enough to kill them.
