Chapter 1012: Part 2: Forest Black Scorpion
Wilderness (5th Zone)
Jeremy Night came to his senses. If he delayed any further, the beast could use another ability. He charged forward the next moment.
Swoosh!
While using the "Feathered Steps," he held the handle tightly.
At the same time, the scorpion beast grew alert. It moved its stinger and aimed at the human again.
Boom!
Once again, it shot out a green beam from its stinger.

Jeremy Night was prepared this time. He avoided the green beam at the last moment. The beam went past him.

After crashing into the ground, it created a deep pit. The green poison spread around, corroding the green patches, pebbles, and stones along the way.
By the time he reached the flank, he immediately used the "Blade One Move."
With the help of his eye power, he found the vitals behind the hard scales and targeted them accurately.

The scorpion beast continued to release its green beam attacks, but the attacks missed the target every time.
Many deep pits appeared on the surrounding land in the blink of an eye. All the deep pits were covered in green poison.

As time passed, he used the "Blade One Move" and "Feathered Steps" to inflict injuries on the scorpion.
The hard scales were broken, and blade wounds appeared on both flanks.
As time passed, more and more gashes appeared on the body of the scorpion beast.

Blood flowed out from those many wounds like a stream. It mixed with the rainwater on the ground, forming a pool of blood.
Jeremy Night didn’t want to miss any chance. He saw the beast had slowed down; it was no longer using the beam attacks as fast.

He cut halfway through before withdrawing the blade. Blood poured out from the wound.
The Tier-6 Beast was growing weaker. The bleeding had drained most of its strength. It could not use the green beam attack anymore.
It had underestimated the weak human. But the weak human was able to injure it to this extent. The Tier-6 Scorpion Beast didn’t have the strength to leave the place.

It didn’t take long for the Tier-6 Forest Black Scorpion to drop to the ground. The beast had lost its strength. Its vitality was also reaching its end.
It was only a matter of time before the beast lost its life.

Jeremy Night landed on one of the tree branches. He looked down at the beast. There was a pool of blood around it.
The mix of rainwater made the pool a bit larger.
Jeremy then checked his starlight power. The starlight power was somewhat reduced in his mental zone.
Unknowingly, he had put a lot of effort into defeating the beast. He then took a deep breath and decided to leave.
He believed that the Tier-6 Scorpion would die anyway. He thought it was better not to waste time and find his next target.

Jeremy Night decided to leave under the heavy downpour of rain. Right then, he heard a powerful bird cry.
The bird cry was so powerful that he felt his eardrums hurting.

A massive bird claw appeared in his vision. It came down to the ground and grabbed the dying scorpion before taking off.
He then raised his head and looked toward the sky. He saw a massive eagle beast over 8 meters in size.
Jeremy Night instantly felt an oppressive pressure.
"Tier-8," Before he could finish his sentence:

The next second, he was hit by the powerful wind generated by the wings of the eagle.
He was knocked backward. His body flew before crashing into the wet ground. Water splashed everywhere. His body skidded backward due to the force before coming to a halt.
He was completely drenched in muddy water.
Kreee!
He heard the same bird cry again. He forgot about the searing pain in his body. Rainwater was pouring on his face.
He then looked at the sky and saw the massive Tier-8 Eagle Beast flap its wings all of a sudden.
Boom!
The next second, the wind force generated by the wings reached the tree where he had been standing a while ago.
Boom!
The wind force struck down the massive tree. The tree, along with its numerous branches, was shredded to pieces.
The shockwave once again impacted the ground. He was hit by the impact force along with the muddy water.
But this time, he was prepared. Jeremy braced himself. His body was pushed a few steps backward by the impact force.
Kreeee!
The Tier-8 Eagle Beast let out another cry in the sky before leaving the area.
Jeremy Night didn’t make a sound. He watched the bird leave with the Tier-6 Scorpion Beast in its talons.
He had fought hard against the Tier-6 Beast for the past hour, but he hadn’t expected the Tier-6 Black Scorpion to become food for the Tier-8 Eagle.
His gaze then fell on the destroyed tree. The wind force aimed at the tree had destroyed it completely. He had been swept away by the mere casual flapping of its wings earlier.
If that targeted wind force had hit him directly, he would have suffered serious injuries.
He was glad that the Tier-8 Beast didn’t continue to attack. It must have thought of him as an insignificant human Beast Tamer.
