Sword of the Philosopher
Special Location
Continuing our search for the ruins, we will eventually reach the southern part of the kingdom of Barks - the Lorostia region.
Essentially, the more damage caused by the Demon King raid is greater the closer it is to the capital. Regardless of the large number of cases of demons in the south, there is also a large part of the damage... For the town along the street, the wounds seemed relatively shallow.
"Well, the next relic has apparently been discovered for a long time."
While I'm headed to the ruins, I'm going to listen to Sophia, who has the material in her hand.
"Some adventurers seemed to have gotten in, but they said it ended without getting what was in the deepest"
"Where people are already in… If those adventurers are looking into it, it seems unlikely that there will be material."
"According to Mr. Devals' dossier, he's concerned about what's sleeping in the deepest part"
"I'm curious...?
"When Lilito was magically investigating, she felt special magic."
That's the reason to find out...... when
"You're saying there's something in the ruins we're heading to now that's nowhere else?
"That sounds like an interpretation. I don't know if it's material, because it just means I feel magical."
Hmm, you mean to look into it because there was a part that bothered you? I reply, "Okay," and I head to the ruins with Sophia and the others.
Rock Mountain is where we arrived in no time. I saw a cave in the place.
"According to the information I heard in advance, I don't usually seem to see the entrance or anything..."
"... listening? Sophia?"
"Yes."
Her face, the princess, should know a little bit too... well, did Sophia do well?
"Anyway, he said it was open today"
"It would be like illusion, so it seems like you can go in from time to time...... that's the entrance there. Demons and the like never seem to come out, but be careful"
Along with her warnings, I went inside the ruins... but it's more than likely that people's hands have been unlocked, too. So if you pay attention to the demons...
"... hmm?
Right through the entrance and after I magically created the lights because it was dark, I stopped.
"Sophia......"
"Yes, I feel it too"
"Oh, my God, you have magic."
Reese is also in tune. Eina also associated herself with "it seems so," with which everyone agreed.
"I mean, you can feel it like a gaze."
To further Liese's comment I agreed, "Right."
She's right, the magic that drifts exists as if it determines what we are... as if this ruin itself were inferring intruders. It does convince me to try to find out as it is where Devals cared.
There is just no intention of killing at the signs, nor is it like stirring up anxiety. Plus the enemies that emerge, that's all weak demons... demons that appear at the beginning of a game called 'Gray Rabbit' and naturally kick them in. We move on... you haven't seen this demon in a while.
"The demon itself is weak."
Sophia's thoughts. And Eina's in tune.
"The magic in this ruin feels gazed at, as Leese said, but it doesn't seem to have the effect of strengthening the demons."
"Assuming this is like sight, as I said, there will be some presence in this ruin..."
If there is anything in the ruins, I don't think they are other than demons... it seems harmless, so even if it is a demon, is it a little different?
"The guardian of this ruin, or what?
to my reasoning. Reese replied, "Maybe,"
"Let's find out a lot before we go to the deepest part. We need to find the materials first."
Following those words, we continue our search for the ruins. I could still feel the magic of gaze, but for a moment, we ignore it and investigate.
Walk around for a little while and look around the room...... for now all I know is that this place has very little stuff present. It turns out I was using it for some kind of purpose, like an iron box.
"It's a place I don't think I used as an institution."
Leese's point. And did Sophia agree,
"Yes, as an expression, is it a warehouse kind of place..."
"I keep boxes and stuff. I wonder if it's going to be a good place to bring in the materials..."
Then it's not strange if there are artifacts... but here I say to Reese.
"Assuming it was like this before the adventurers stepped in, maybe it wasn't used in the first place."
"As plausible as that is to interpret it, there is nothing... but what the hell is this magic? That's pretty much what's going on back there, but the magic is getting a little thicker, isn't it?
Leese's question. I nodded at it,
"Even so, the amount isn't so different... but this way, maybe there's a source of magic in the deepest part of the world"
Honestly, it's hard to think of anything, so artifacts that humans and others would react to by approaching them, I guess? Then I can still explain.
"Whatever it is, we'll go through it and then we'll head to the bottom."
- He then explored the interior of the site as he kicked through the demons, but with no achievements at all. And we headed to the deepest part of the world.
"... the door"
There's a kannon door in front of us. So, here's the only magical trick.
"Sounds like a trap... maybe once it's tight, it won't open, or something like that?
"I guess so."
Sophia discusses, agreeing.
"I feel clear signs from behind the door, so there seems to be a source of magic felt from the entrance behind this… the adventurers probably pulled it up as having a trap in this place"
Sounds likely...... so we look at each other,
"Even so, the demons inside are not a major obstacle to us."
"I think so"
"I guess."
"I think so."
Sophia and the others who answer successively. It's comforting or something......
"... shall we open the door then?"
I'll reach out. It doesn't seem like a trap... but in this case, if you go into a room, you get locked up or something, is that how it works?
Probably, but the demons inside are controlling the area or something...? In doubt, I open the door. And when I checked inside - the enemy in the deepest realm was waiting.
