The Being Who Existed Before the Omniverse

Chapter 3: The Birth of Dominion

Sponsored

Thousands of years ago-

Vlox looked into the future.

And for the first time since the birth of existence, he witnessed something that disturbed even him.

Humanity was nearing extinction.

Across the world, demonkind ruled with absolute dominance Cities had become slaughterhouses Human civilizations no longer existed The skies themselves carried the scent of ash and blood while mountains of corpses rotted beneath blackened suns.

Humans were no longer treated as living beings.

To demons, they were livestock.

A renewable source of power.

Nothing more.

Vlox watched the future silently.

Then curiosity overcame him.

Why did demons hate humanity so deeply?

Why had mankind become the object of such endless cruelty?

To uncover the truth, Vlox activated one of his oldest divine authorities:

Nothingness: Past Vision.

Reality fractured around him.

Time itself bent backward.

And Vlox traveled seven thousand years into the past.

What he discovered changed everything.

In that era, demons were not vastly superior to humans.

Stronger, yes.

More violent, certainly.

But not invincible.

Then one day-

A demon killed a human during a territorial conflict.

At first, nothing seemed unusual.

But after devouring the human corpse, the demon underwent a horrifying transformation.

Its body evolved instantly.

Its muscles expanded.

Its aura darkened.

Its strength multiplied beyond reason.

The demon had awakened a forbidden force known as:

Bonimeris.

A demonic evolutionary power gained by consuming human flesh, life force, and souls.

The discovery changed the world forever.

The demons realized humanity possessed something infinitely valuable.

Humans were not weak creatures.

They were fuel.

From that day onward-

Humanity became prey.

The slaughter began immediately.

Villages vanished overnight.

Entire kingdoms collapsed beneath endless waves of demonic attacks.

Rivers turned red with blood while cities burned for months without stopping.

Within only a few generations-

Nearly ninety-five percent of humanity had been exterminated.

But then the demons encountered a problem.

If humans disappeared completely...

Bonimeris would vanish with them.

And so, amidst the endless carnage, one demon proposed a solution cruel enough to reshape history itself.

General Kajkha.

Even among demonkind, Kajkha was feared for his intelligence.

While others slaughtered humans mindlessly, Kajkha understood something deeper:

Extinction was wasteful.

Humanity needed to survive.

Not as equals.

But as resources.

"Keep them alive," Kajkha declared.

"Breed them."

"Control them."

"As long as humans exist... demonkind will possess endless power."

And thus-

Humanity’s true nightmare began.

Humans were chained like animals beneath demon rule.

Entire bloodlines were forced into slavery.

Families were separated and sold between demon territories like property.

Children grew up watching executions as entertainment.

Villages became feeding grounds where demons descended whenever they desired stronger Bonimeris.

Some demons treated torture like sport.

Others competed over how long humans could survive suffering before breaking completely.

Hope disappeared from the world.

Fear became humanity’s natural state.

Generation after generation was raised believing demons were invincible beings beyond resistance.

And for thousands of years-

Humanity endured.

Vlox witnessed everything silently.

At first, he observed without emotion.

Suffering meant little to a being older than existence itself.

But the longer he watched-

The more something unfamiliar began stirring within him.

Humans continued resisting despite endless despair.

Even while starving.

Even while enslaved.

Even while dying.

Parents still protected their children.

Warriors still sacrificed themselves for strangers.

Mothers still sang songs to frightened infants beneath the shadows of demon camps.

Humanity refused to disappear.

And finally-

Vlox understood.

Humans were not fighting for pride.

Nor revenge.

Nor glory.

They fought because they wished to protect something precious.

Their families.

Their dignity.

Their future.

Moved by that endless instinct to survive, Vlox awakened something hidden deep within mankind itself.

Dominion.

Not divine magic.

Not a blessing from the heavens.

But a power born from courage, conviction, survival instinct, and the refusal to kneel before despair.

The first awakening of Dominion was catastrophic.

Humans who had spent entire lifetimes enslaved suddenly erupted with overwhelming strength.

Fear transformed into fury.

The battlefield descended into chaos.

Demons who once viewed humans as insects were torn apart by the same prey they had hunted for centuries.

Entire demon armies collapsed beneath humanity’s rage.

Even Kajkha was shocked.

Standing amidst the burning battlefield, the demon general watched countless demons die before his eyes.

"How...?"

Dark energy exploded around him violently.

"How are these pathetic creatures becoming this powerful?!"

But Vlox soon discovered Dominion possessed a dangerous flaw.

Dominion was directly connected to the human mind.

The moment fear, hopelessness, or self doubt overwhelmed a person-

Dominion weakened.

And if someone completely lost belief in themselves, their Dominion began collapsing entirely.

Exhaustion.

Mental instability.

Madness.

Even death.

Humanity had gained power.

But maintaining that power required something far more difficult than strength alone.

They needed unbreakable minds.

As the war intensified, Ragnar Vael stood before the surviving humans amidst the ruins of a destroyed city.

Blood covered his armor.

Countless corpses surrounded him.

Yet his voice still shook the battlefield itself.

"Do not fear them!"

Dominion ignited around his body like burning crimson fire.

"The moment fear controls your heart, Dominion weakens!"

His sword pointed toward the advancing demons.

"Believe in yourselves!"

"Fight for the future stolen from us!"

The humans roared.

And humanity launched its first true counterattack.

For the first time in history-

Demons retreated.

Kajkha quickly understood the danger.

If the war continued, demonkind itself could face extinction.

Consumed by rage, he ordered every surviving demon to withdraw immediately.

Humanity had won its first war.

But victory came with a price.

The following morning, the humans suddenly became weak once again.

Their Dominion faded rapidly.

Exhaustion consumed their bodies.

Confusion spread across the survivors.

Had their power vanished?

Then a survivor named Eldric Vane discovered the truth.

The first awakening of Dominion granted explosive temporary power born from emotional release.

But true Dominion-

Stable Dominion-

Could only be achieved through relentless training of both body and mind.

Strength alone was meaningless.

The human spirit itself needed to evolve.

After learning this truth, Ragnar gathered the survivors once more.

For the first time in thousands of years, humanity stood beneath open skies without chains around their necks.

"We are no longer slaves," Ragnar declared.

"We are no longer prey."

His voice carried across the ruined battlefield.

"From this day onward, humanity will grow stronger through discipline, courage, and belief in ourselves."

The survivors listened silently.

Some cried.

Others trembled.

Because for the first time in countless generations-

They were free.

Their women would no longer be treated as possessions beneath demon rule.

Their children would no longer grow up learning fear before learning language.

Humanity no longer needed to sacrifice one another simply to survive another night.

And slowly-

Civilization began rising from the ashes.

Some hunted for food.

Others guarded human territory.

Warriors trained endlessly to master Dominion.

Healers gathered herbs and medicine to rebuild what remained of mankind.

For the first time in history-

Humanity began walking toward a future created not by gods...

But by their own strength.

Their own will.

And the power of Dominion.
