Lin Fei didn’t understand why Zhou Ziyu said that. He didn’t seem to have asked Zhou Ziyu those questions!

"Of course it matters. You might not know, my hobby is collecting Demon Beasts. I like raising them. I think you might like it too, right?" Zhou Ziyu asked.

Lin Fei smiled, "It’s alright."

Like raising Demon Beasts? Isn’t that the same as keeping pets? That’s what Lin Fei thought, but he also knew he couldn’t say that out loud. After all, if he did, Little Black might turn against him; Little Black wouldn’t want to be considered a pet.

In Little Black’s words, he is a dragon with dignity, not just a simple Demon Beast.

"Since that’s the case, why don’t you come down and take a look at my collection of Demon Beasts, how about it?" Was Zhou Ziyu actually inviting Lin Fei?

Lin Fei paused for a moment, then smiled, "This... doesn’t seem appropriate, does it? After all, what identity would I go as?"

That was the tricky part. If he went under the guise of a thief, he might end up as Demon Beast fodder, right? So Lin Fei hesitated, wondering whether he should go.

Zhou Ziyu looked at Lin Fei with confusion, "Since I’m inviting you, of course, you’ll go as my guest to watch. Otherwise, I wouldn’t be inviting a thief, right?"

Lin Fei chuckled, "In that case, I guess I must oblige." With that, Lin Fei jumped down, but he noticed that Zhou Ziyu, who claimed to like Demon Beasts, kept glancing at Little Black with great curiosity.

"Follow me."

Zhou Ziyu said and led Lin Fei towards his place, with two rows of guards following behind to ensure Zhou Ziyu’s safety.

Lin Fei followed Zhou Ziyu and finally arrived at Zhou Ziyu’s residence. At this point, Zhou Ziyu ordered his guards to stay outside the door, bringing Lin Fei along with Little Dragon and Little Fire into the courtyard.

Lin Fei didn’t expect that Zhou Ziyu was quite trusting of him, not worried at all about being killed or anything, which made Lin Fei admire Zhou Ziyu.

"Aren’t you afraid I’ll do something to you?" Lin Fei asked with a smile.

Zhou Ziyu shook his head, "No, because there’s no intent to kill in your eyes, so you won’t kill me."

Hearing this, Lin Fei was quite surprised, "How can you tell? I can’t see it myself."

"Haha, I learned these things from those Demon Beasts. From their eyes, I can tell what they intend to do next, so that’s why I said that about you." Zhou Ziyu explained.

"Yeah, right, stop bragging!" Little Black suddenly interjected.

"You don’t believe it?"

Zhou Ziyu stopped and looked at Little Black, asking, "I’m really curious, what exactly are you? You look like a dragon, but your aura is..."

"What’s wrong with my aura? Is there a problem?" Little Black asked.

"It’s not that there’s a problem; it’s that you inherently are a problem," Zhou Ziyu laughed, "I’ve read ancient texts. The Dragon Clan doesn’t have that many colors, only Golden Dragon, White Dragon, Azure Dragon, and finally the Purple Dragon. These four colors represent different abilities, but I’ve never heard of a Black Dragon."

"That’s because you’re ignorant. I’m sorry, but I’m a one-of-a-kind existence in the world, hahaha!" Little Black laughed joyfully.

Lin Fei frowned, watching Little Black laugh like a fool and said, "Little Black, stop pretending to be a dragon when you’re just a reptile!"

Hearing Lin Fei’s words, a trace of anger flashed in Little Black’s eyes. Then he seemed to think of something and suddenly laughed, "Haha, Master, you’re really not giving me any face. People say I look like a dragon, so why not let them have their vanity satisfied? It also gives you some face! Having a dragon as a subordinate is quite impressive, isn’t it?"

At that moment, Little Black realized he’d been tricked by Zhou Ziyu and was angry about it.

He decided to play dumb and muddle through.

"Haha, my friend, your Demon Beast is right. Having a dragon-like Demon Beast is indeed quite prestigious. By the way, I’m wondering if you’re interested in participating in the Beast Tournament?"

"Beast Tournament?"

Hearing this, Lin Fei was puzzled. What on earth is a Beast Tournament? Lin Fei had never heard of it!

Seeing Lin Fei’s confused look, Zhou Ziyu understood that Lin Fei probably didn’t know, so he explained, "The Beast Tournament involves humans who have tamed Demon Beasts, taking them to the tournament to compete against each other. Got it?"

"Oh, so that’s the Beast Tournament..." Lin Fei figured it out, but still thought it sounded a lot like some anime from the Lower Realm, like Pokémon or Digimon, those Japanese animes.

"Come over and take a look, we’ll talk about the Beast Tournament later. Let me show you my collection of Demon Beasts."

Zhou Ziyu said and then led Lin Fei into the great hall.

Originally, the great hall should have been a place with a full view, but in front of Lin Fei were huge iron cages of varying sizes. Upon their arrival, the Demon Beasts trapped inside roared angrily at Lin Fei and Zhou Ziyu, leaving Lin Fei puzzled.

"These are your Demon Beasts?" Lin Fei asked.

"Of course, look at this Double-winged Tiger, and that Green-boned Skin Wolf, they’re all mine," Zhou Ziyu replied, not understanding why Lin Fei was asking.

"Will they attack humans?" Lin Fei inquired.

Hearing Lin Fei’s question, Zhou Ziyu chuckled, "They won’t attack me, but they will attack others."

Surprised by Zhou Ziyu’s statement, Lin Fei had a hard time believing it since these Demon Beasts were roaring at him intensely, surely they couldn’t be harmless to Zhou Ziyu.

"You don’t believe it?" Zhou Ziyu asked.

"Me? Of course, I don’t believe it, unless you show me. But I’d advise you not to mess around; Demon Beasts are ruthless, and if you’re accidentally killed, what would I do? That wouldn’t be my responsibility, right?" Lin Fei responded with a smile, not wanting to complicate things further. Nonetheless, his words only stirred Zhou Ziyu’s competitive spirit.

Of course, Zhou Ziyu was very confident, so he directly took the keys to a Demon Beast door from the side, inserted the key into the Double-winged Tiger’s lock, and walked over towards it.
