Unfortunately, they ran faster than Lin Fei. Even with his Godspeed Talisman at full throttle, he couldn’t shake the snake off—it was simply too fast!

"This won’t do, continuing like this, I’ll be exhausted first!" Lin Fei sighed.

Upon hearing Lin Fei’s words, Little Black and Little Fire abruptly stopped, causing Lin Fei to rush forward, leaving them behind in the blink of an eye.

"What’s wrong, Little Fire and Little Black?" Lin Fei asked, also stopping and looking back at them, puzzled as to why they stopped.

"Master, I don’t think it’s a good idea, I’m not in favor." Little Fire said, as if saying, "I’m being coerced by Little Black..."

Little Black tightened its body, making Little Fire shut up, having been disciplined by Little Black for so long, he dared not act out.

"Little Black, do you have a plan?" Lin Fei returned; at this time, the giant snake approached them. It was enormous, its head as large as a house and its body stretching hundreds of meters—a powerful Nascent Soul-level demon beast.

In front of her, Lin Fei had no room to resist.

"Stop!"

Little Black didn’t respond to Lin Fei, instead soaring into the air, transforming into a small dragon, hovering and gazing at the snake.

The snake showed a startled expression upon seeing Little Black, unsure if the dragon was real or fake. "The snake’s eggs were stolen, and when we passed by, it thought we took them, so it’s been following us wanting its eggs back," Little Black explained.

"Moreover, it said it would follow us until its eggs are found," Little Black spread its paws, commenting.
