Chapter 67: Ziz vs White [2]
Sparks shot out from Ziz’s mouth and flew away at an extremely fast speed, making White feel a little troubled when dodging sideways. Of course, she still managed to dodge it, but she had to get serious instead of fooling around.
The attack flew past White and went straight toward the mountaintop, completely blowing away the entire peak. After the mountaintop was blown away, sparks fell scattered everywhere. They did not spread, but they did not look like they would go out anytime soon either.
White slightly lowered her head and looked at her cloak, only to see that a palm-sized part of it had been blown away, with some small flames still burning around it. The flame seemed like it could burn forever, making her slightly furrow her brows.
"Power this evil and impure shouldn’t be used. Otherwise, I’ll purify you, chick."
Pure white holy energy immediately enveloped the flame. Two powerful opposing forces struggled against each other, but a tiny spark naturally could not withstand it. In less than a second, the flame stuck to her cloak disappeared.
"Who are you calling a chick?! Arrogant mortal, you only dodged one casual attack of mine, and you’re already getting cocky?"
Calling it casual was obviously an exaggeration. Although it was not Ziz’s full-powered attack, it was clearly a serious attack because he had been extremely angry at the time.
"Looks like I really have to beat you up before you’ll behave."
White shook her head and sighed before bringing several fingertips together. A tiny point of light appeared in front of her fingertips, containing an enormous amount of energy.
"Then try one of my casual attacks too."
She flicked her finger, and the tiny point of light flashed and shot away like a bullet, leaving behind a long white trail as if splitting the entire space into two halves.
"Mortal..."
Ziz was about to curse at her and had no intention of dodging, so he directly took the full hit from this bullet. He was then hit by the bullet, which traveled at a speed beyond the speed of sound, and slammed into the mountaintop five miles away.
"Huh? It actually couldn’t pierce through?"
White slightly frowned. She was surprised by the defensive ability of Ziz’s body because she could clearly see that Ziz had not done anything at all. The energy bullet only temporarily deformed Ziz’s body, but it did not injure him at all.

It was obvious that White deliberately made the part of the mountaintop she destroyed larger than the part Ziz had destroyed. Even though neither of them said it out loud, this was an unspoken competition between the two.
"Is this all the useless mortal can do? Too weak."
Even an SSS-rank could not kill Ziz, so White’s attack was completely ineffective.
Seeing that Ziz did not even lose a single feather, White was genuinely shocked. The attack just now was not even her full power, but it was not something an S-rank hunter could take head-on and remain completely unharmed.
But even if she was shocked, she could not show it. If Ziz found out that she was helpless against him, how could she tame him?
"Stop calling me mortal this and mortal that. You’re just a monster born from a dungeon too, so what makes you any better than me? Besides, who is useless? I’m sure you realize that yourself. Don’t act all mighty in front of me. My name is White; you should be Ziz, right?"
Although she did not say it outright, White’s attitude clearly showed that she considered herself a level above Ziz. The master naturally had to be above the future pet.
If Ziz could not see such an obvious attitude, he would be an idiot. And because he saw it, he found it even more unacceptable.
"You dare compare me to those lowly monsters? I am the great lord of the sky! How could I let you insult me like this?"
Realizing that the strength he could use was continuously decreasing, Ziz knew that if he kept dragging this out, he would really lose.
He had two choices. One was to make peace, a choice that was extremely unattractive to Ziz. The other was to quickly beat White up badly as punishment for her insolent behavior, then immediately return to Nexus.

The silhouette of a gigantic monster appeared faintly above the highest layers of black clouds. Its four wings were so huge that they could cover this entire enormous dungeon.

Although Ziz used all his strength to make an image that closely resembled his true form appear, that cute voice did not change. This directly reduced at least seventy percent of his scariness.
Sensing the terrifying pressure coming from the sky, White felt for the first time that the title ’lord of the sky’ that Ziz always had on his lips was not just boasting.
"Looks like I’ll have to open my eyes."
White removed the white cloth, revealing an extremely strange pair of eyes. Her pupils had a color and sparkle similar to diamonds rather than human eyes.
Not only that, there were many extremely complicated patterns above her pupils that definitely were not something she was born with. Her already stunning beauty immediately rose another level once she stopped hiding these eyes.
Looking up at the sky, her eyes, which could see through almost everything, immediately locked onto Ziz’s exact location.
White was very surprised because Ziz’s body was truly unlike any body she had ever seen. It was like a teddy bear containing an entire ocean of energy inside.
"So that’s how it is; no wonder the energy bullet I fired couldn’t pierce through your body. Even if it could pierce through, it wouldn’t have any effect."
