After leaving the White Soul Civilization, the Desolation Manifestation reverted to its original appearance and teleported Han Wu directly into the Death God King’s divine realm.
The Death God King was dealing with the Death Faction’s internal affairs. During Han Wu’s absence, he had secretly dispatched people to monitor the Light Faction, the Destruction Clan, and the War Faction, keeping his guard up against them.
Han Wu’s safe return eased some of the Death God King’s tension.
“Your Majesty, mission accomplished,” Han Wu said, presenting the Golden Rune.
A faint smile appeared on the Death God King’s usually stern face when he took the Golden Rune and felt its effects. “Han Wu, Desolation already told me everything you did in the White Soul Civilization. You did very well.”
“I still need to keep working harder,” Han Wu replied modestly.
“You do indeed. Your potential in undead summoning is enormous. It’s worth investing serious effort and resources into developing it further,” the Death God King said, pulling out an object.
Han Wu examined it closely and realized it was a complete Divine Jurisdiction.
“This complete Divine Jurisdiction is tied to the undead. It can greatly improve the quality of the undead you summon.” The Death God King tossed it over to Han Wu.
Han Wu caught it with trembling hands, the Jurisdiction’s information appearing before his eyes.
This Netherworld Jurisdiction granted the ability to commune with the souls of the dead and convert them into undead. Shockingly, this complete Jurisdiction wasn’t a minor one, but a full-blown major Jurisdiction with extremely high growth potential.
“Your Majesty, this is far too valuable!” Han Wu exclaimed.
“I’ve already placed my trust in you. No resource is too precious. Besides, you brought me back the Golden Rune.”
Han Wu felt genuinely moved.
The Death God King then warned, “The Light Faction has been very active in the Divine Civilization lately, openly recruiting divine realm players on a massive scale. They’re planning something big. You embarrassed them last time, so be careful.”
“I will!”
After saying goodbye to the Death God King, Han Wu returned to his own divine realm. This trip to the White Soul Civilization had been enormously rewarding.
The first gain was the Nether King form, which significantly improved his control over darkness and fire, and also provided a boost to his undead summoning.
The second was the undead army stationed in the White Soul Civilization. Although the army was housed there, Han Wu could summon it to his side at any time through his authority as king. Basically, he had a hidden army raised outside the Divine Civilization, one nobody had ever seen before. It could serve as a devastating trump card when used at the right time.
The third was the Supreme Power. Han Wu handed this Subcosm-rank puppet over to V and Epistians for research, to see if they could produce detailed blueprints from studying it. If blueprints could be made, Han Wu would go bankrupt building more of them if he had to. Peace of mind was the only justification he needed.
Lastly, there was Han Wu’s new status as the king in the White Soul Civilization, which came with a gift from the Golden Will.
When Han Wu returned to his divine realm, a beam of golden light shot from his body to the ground. A Golden Tree sapling grew rapidly from that spot, with its trunk reaching the thickness of a bowl in no time.
The Will of Evolution that had formed in Han Wu’s divine realm sensed the Golden Tree’s presence and independently moved into it, giving the previously intangible will a physical vessel.
This granted the Will of Evolution a massive upgrade in efficacy. The entire divine realm would benefit as well, with all life forms gaining accelerated growth. Han Wu peered down at the shimmering Golden Tree with a satisfied smile.
Afterward, Han Wu received the various blood samples he had purchased before leaving for the White Soul Civilization. These were essential materials for accelerating the development of the Everchange Jurisdiction.
After a grueling series of absorptions, the Everchange Jurisdiction’s development finally hit 100%, unlocking its first effect, Shapeshifting.
This allowed Han Wu to transform into any life form by observing, sensing, or absorbing its blood or flesh. He would gain that life form’s abilities and skills in the process.
That was just the Everchange Jurisdiction’s effect alone. Combined with his Myriad Martial Caste ability, Han Wu could maintain up to 10,000 fully armed life form transformations.
This army could include any life form he had previously transformed into. Each could even be equipped with gear and locked in as one of the Myriad Martial Caste.
Doing this ate through more than half the equipment in his divine realm’s treasury. When the Scorching Dwarf chief Hammie learned of this, he immediately prayed to Han Wu. He wanted to personally craft custom equipment for each of Han Wu’s Myriad Martial Caste forms, so that every transformation could reach its maximum potential.
Han Wu agreed to Hammie’s request and split the Myriad Martial Caste ability into Avatar Creations. These avatars worked alongside Hammie and the Scorching Dwarf clan to forge said equipment.
With the Everchange Jurisdiction mastered, Han Wu could fuse another Divine Jurisdiction, and he conveniently had the Netherworld Jurisdiction on hand.
He immediately chose to embed the Netherworld Jurisdiction into Reincarnation, which had a high compatibility with it.
The Netherworld Jurisdiction enabled him to commune with souls and summon them as undead, while Reincarnation could pull souls back to the Underworld and grant them a new life. The two complemented each other perfectly.
Wanting to test it, Han Wu looked toward the highly intelligent Epistians living in his divine realm.
The Netherworld Jurisdiction pulled the soul of a recently passed elderly Epistian back into their body, converting them into an undead, a zombie. This zombie retained all its memories and was completely familiar with every skill it had learned in life.
After becoming a zombie, it actually performed better than it had when alive. It could even push its former abilities and skills further through deeper study and development.
When the zombie eventually perished, its soul wouldn’t dissipate. Instead, the Reincarnation ability would guide it into the Underworld that Han Wu had established, where it would be reborn with all the knowledge and memories from its previous life.
In practical terms, this gave every soul an extra chance through undead life. This effectively extended each life into two or more. If deployed in warfare, the results would be devastating.
