Within Apocalypse City, the leaders of three great families and the five organizations, eight major factions in total, gathered at the city lord’s manor to discuss the war.

The three great families all traced their bloodlines back to the First King. Every generation produced talented fighters, yet none had ever matched the First King’s brilliance.

The five organizations were major factions that had established themselves within Apocalypse City over the years. Their overall strength rivaled that of the three great families, though their status within the city remained slightly lower.

“The undead army outside has already exceeded 1 million! That black bone sea is a breeding ground for the undead army. We need to find a way to wipe out both the army and the bone sea at the same time!”

“Easy for you to say. The undead army and the bone sea cover over 10,000 square kilometers, and the bone sea’s shape is completely irregular. Do you have a way to deliver a powerful enough strike to cover all of it?”

“Everyone’s here to discuss a plan, so stop arguing. If we can’t stop this undead siege, nobody in Apocalypse City is getting out alive!”

With the stakes laid bare, the leaders of the three great families exchanged glances before reaching a decision.

“Our three families still possess a powerful weapon created during the First King’s era. Once activated, it will completely destroy both the bone sea and the undead army. Operating it requires a massive amount of energy, however.”

“It has come to this, so stop holding back. Bring out the weapon. The five organizations will supply the energy.”

Everyone quickly agreed. With the city’s survival on the line, holding anything in reserve would only lead to destruction.

Outside Apocalypse City, Han Wu stood within the overlapping attack zones of several formations. Waves of energy attacks rained down on him, and his Conversion Jurisdiction transformed them all into Bone Energy.

The steady influx of Bone Energy created more bone sand, which in turn produced more Jackal Deathsworn. Once their numbers reached a certain scale, Han Wu started creating other types of undead as well. He replicated the special skeleton he had summoned from Corpse Fiend Hennibal’s remains and named the new type Limb Grafters. Then he began mass-producing them.

Each Limb Grafter matched an Eighth Form fighter in power. Their defining trait was the assortment of mismatched limbs onto their frames, each capable of releasing different attacks simultaneously. Although they easily adapted to any environment, producing one required far more bone sand than a regular Jackal Deathsworn.

Beyond that, Han Wu also mass-produced Bone Dragons. Without the Wicked Dragon present, he lacked a proper dragon spirit, so these Bone Dragons were imitations. They ranked above the Limb Grafters, but not by much.

To further strengthen his undead army, Han Wu used the Dragon Firebearer’s ability to cloak every skeleton in roaring dragon fire. Their strength soared. Under this new wave of attacks, several sections of Apocalypse City’s walls collapsed, and civilians were swept into the war.

Han Wu felt no sympathy. He understood exactly where he stood. He was an invader, and every life form inside Apocalypse City was his enemy. Mercy toward the enemy was cruelty toward oneself.

He had already delivered his terms to the major factions at the beginning of the battle. If every major faction surrendered, he would stop. So far, not one had surrendered. They showed no concern for civilian lives, so Han Wu saw no reason to care either.

Daniel had watched everything unfold from the beginning. Han Wu’s methods filled him with awe while leaving him feeling utterly inferior. Compared to Han Wu’s ruthlessness, Daniel sincerely believed that he was outclassed.

Just as Daniel was about to step forward and pledge his loyalty once again, a massive explosion erupted from the heart of Apocalypse City. He looked up, and his bluish-black face twisted. At the city’s center, a colossal puppet was rising from the ground.

“What is that thing?” Daniel shouted in shock.

He had never heard of anything this massive hidden inside Apocalypse City. The colossal puppet stood over 1,000 meters tall. The moment it reached its full height, it leapt and plunged into the bone sea.

Han Wu directed swarms of Jackal Deathsworn to scale the colossus and hack at its joints with their battle axes.

The colossus retaliated at once, releasing a massive shockwave of compressed air and blasting every skeleton away. It then fired ultra-concentrated energy blasts from its palms. The blasts incinerated bone sand and undead skeletons alike into a lava-like fluid on contact.

Han Wu couldn’t reshape that molten substance into skeletons. After several blasts, the undead army had suffered devastating losses.

From the colossus’ head, the eight faction leaders issued a declaration. “Whoever is controlling these undead, you are no match for the Supreme Power. We advise you to surrender now. Once we find you, we will tear you limb from limb.”

As the declaration echoed across the battlefield, even more of Han Wu’s carefully assembled undead army was reduced to molten slag.

Daniel watched with weakening knees, terrified that the colossus would aim one of those blasts at him.

Meanwhile, Han Wu showed no fear at the sight of the Supreme Power. If anything, he was excited.

“Apocalypse City lives up to its reputation. They really were hiding something good!” Han Wu marveled.

He could tell that the Supreme Power possessed Subcosm destructive capability.

What a treasure! Leaving it to gather dust in the White Soul Civilization is such a waste. Han Wu would head back to the Divine Civilization, and he needed a worthy war trophy.

“Analyze the composition of its attacks for me,” Han Wu told the Desolation Manifestation.

The Desolation Manifestation immediately began its analysis. The results came quickly.

“The ultra-concentrated energy blasts compress dozens of elemental energies before release. Once fired, they expand rapidly and produce the effects we’re seeing,” the Desolation Manifestation explained.

“Can those attacks reach the level of a Divine Jurisdiction?” Han Wu pressed.

“Only up to the level of a Divine Authority. They fall short of a true Divine Jurisdiction,” the Desolation Manifestation replied.

Han Wu’s grin widened. This colossus might as well have been made for me.

Its energy attacks couldn’t reach the level of a Divine Jurisdiction, which meant they were simply waiting for him to convert them. Without a moment’s hesitation, Han Wu leapt into the open and exposed himself to the Supreme Power.

He didn’t unleash any of his powerful forms to attack it. In his eyes, it was already his trophy. Why damage it?

The eight faction leaders were delighted when they spotted Han Wu. “So you’re the one behind the bone sea. Bold of you to show yourself!”

The strategy for dealing with an undead army was simple: destroy the one creating it, and the entire invasion would collapse.

“Don’t waste time talking. Destroy him.”

The five organizations were desperate to end this. They were footing the energy bill, and every blast from the Supreme Power burned through White Soul Coins. The sooner Han Wu was eliminated, the more money they would save.

The three great families ordered, “Die!”
