So right now, what Lin Mu has to do is gather all his Inner Strength, to counter the phenomenon of free fall in physics, preventing too much of a shock when landing. After all, it’s a height of ten floors, and inside an elevator; it’s definitely no joke.

At this moment, at the building’s elevator entrance, a Bald Guy was puffing on a cigarette, with two Lanzai standing behind him, each holding a submachine gun.

"Trying to play with us, that’s asking for death. This time we’ll smash him into a bloody mess!" The Bald Guy slowly exhaled a puff of smoke and said.

"Boss, why didn’t we lure him into the elevator earlier, that way our five or six brothers wouldn’t have died in vain," said the guy holding the submachine gun from behind.

The Bald Guy turned, gave a light slap to the head of the Lanzai holding the submachine gun, "Are you stupid? You think Lin Mu is an idiot? Since he dared to come, he must have thought we set a trap. If we didn’t first put on a show to trick him, would he have fallen for it so easily? Only by messing with him once will he lower his guard, thinking there’s no danger, making it easier to kill him, got it?"

The Lanzai holding the submachine gun quickly nodded, "Boss, got it, got it."

"Got it, my ass. If you really understood, wouldn’t you be the boss?" The Bald Guy gave another slap to the Lanzai’s head.

At this moment, there was a "boom," a thundering sound, like an earthquake.

The shock made the Bald Guy and his two lackeys involuntarily step back.

The Bald Guy took a comfortable drag of his cigarette, slightly smiled, "Hahaha, this kid is definitely dead, might have turned into a pile of minced meat."

"Boss, we’ve really made a great achievement this time. Boss Tang will definitely reward us nicely," said the Lanzai beside him.

"Of course. I always said, sticking with me, there’s meat to eat," the Bald Guy said, patting his chest.

"Boss, from now on, we’ll follow you through fire and water without hesitation," said the Lanzai holding the submachine gun.

"Enough, stop the nonsense, quickly open the elevator door," the Bald Guy waved his hand and said.

The two Lanzai holding submachine guns nodded, then walked to the elevator entrance and opened the elevator door.

"Haha, hello there!"

As the elevator opened, Lin Mu grinned and waved at the two Lanzai.

The two Lanzai holding submachine guns froze, their eyes widening as much as they could, their expressions filled with disbelief. They couldn’t imagine why, after falling straight down from the tenth floor, Lin Mu was completely unharmed. Could this be too unrealistic?

No matter how skilled he was, he was still made of flesh and bones, right? Falling from such a height without getting hurt was hard to imagine.

The two Lanzai stepped back, eyes wide with shock, immediately retreating behind the Bald Guy.

The Bald Guy looked at Lin Mu, also with a face full of shock, unable to understand why Lin Mu wasn’t dead. This was far beyond what he had imagined!

"You, you’re still alive?" The Bald Guy’s cigarette fell to the ground, pointing at Lin Mu in disbelief and said.

Lin Mu chuckled, spreading his hands and said, "If I’m not alive, did you see a ghost?"

"Impossible, impossible, falling from the tenth floor, there’s no way you’re alive," the Bald Guy repeatedly said, still unwilling to believe it. He’d rather believe his eyes were blind than believe Lin Mu was unharmed after falling from ten floors. It was simply too unbelievable. He knew Lin Mu was strong but had never imagined he was this invincible, surviving a ten-story fall. This was no human, clearly a Superman.

"Haha, is that so?" Lin Mu spread his hands and smiled, "Do you think I’m a ghost?"

"You’re a ghost, shoot, shoot and kill him," the Bald Guy crazily waved his hand toward the two Lanzai behind him.

The two Lanzai couldn’t even muster the strength to shoot, their hands trembling uncontrollably.

Lin Mu glared at the two Lanzai, his eyes sharp like daggers piercing their eyes, "I bet you don’t dare to shoot. Why not give it a try?"

The two Lanzai weren’t idiots. The gunfight that occurred in the lobby earlier, where several people attacked him suddenly, and none of their shots hit him. They only had two guns; they undoubtedly couldn’t beat Lin Mu. If they fired, they knew death would be near.

"Damn it, I told you to shoot, are you deaf?" the Bald Guy raged.

The two Lanzai ignored the Bald Guy and fearfully took small steps backward.

The Bald Guy saw the two Lanzai trying to run and couldn’t help cursing, "You idiots, you just said you’re willing to go through hell for me, and now you’re scared shitless by this small matter? Bunch of idiots."

"Boss, we don’t want to die. We’re out of here," the two Lanzai said, then dropped their guns and dashed out of the building.

These two Lanzai were somewhat perceptive; they didn’t shoot Lin Mu, so he let them go. If they had fired, their fate would have been the same as those before, they would’ve been riddled with bullets like a wasp’s nest.

"Damn, bastard, useless, get back here," the Bald Guy shouted, looking like he was about to explode with rage. But the two Lanzai seemed not to hear him, dashed out.

The Bald Guy observed this, cursed under his breath, and was about to chase after them. It looked like he wanted to chase them, but Lin Mu understood clearly; this guy clearly wanted to escape too.

With that bald head of his, trying to play cat-and-mouse games with me? That’s a bit dumb, isn’t it!

Lin Mu leaped up, grabbed the Bald Guy’s shoulder, "Haha, where do you think you’re going?"

The Bald Guy glared fiercely at Lin Mu then said, "Let me go, I’ll deal with them first, then I’ll deal with you. Don’t worry, you won’t escape."

Lin Mu chuckled, thinking this guy is putting on quite a show.

"How about this? Deal with me first, then those two, it’ll save time," Lin Mu said, patting the Bald Guy’s shoulder.

The Bald Guy wasn’t an idiot. His plan was to use the opportunity of chasing two of his subordinates to escape. After all, this was someone who survived a ten-story fall; the Bald Guy understood that even with hundreds of men, they couldn’t beat him. So essentially, among the 36 stratagems, fleeing was the smartest move!

However, the Bald Guy felt helpless now because Lin Mu had seen through his scheme.

"I’ll deal with my personal matters first, then you. Best not to stop me, let go," the Bald Guy glared fiercely, showing no fear, and struggled twice, only to helplessly find he couldn’t break free.
