’She doesn’t really know anyone else here... except... ’

The thought had just surfaced when the door opened, revealing the figure of the person outside.

A man stood before the door, the night swallowing most of his face in shadow. He looked up as the door opened.

"Cillian Forrest?" After a moment, Sophie Wexler was the first to speak. "What are you doing here?"

As she spoke, she naturally stepped aside, gesturing for him to come in.

The two of them had lived under the same roof for so long that the gesture was completely subconscious.

The man stepped inside. "I came to see you."

Under the light inside, Sophie Wexler finally saw the deep exhaustion under Cillian Forrest’s eyes, which were bloodshot.

Remembering what Leo Fane had said, it seemed he had been incredibly busy since returning to the Capital Planet.

"Have you been busy lately?" Sophie Wexler asked.

"It’s manageable," Cillian Forrest replied. "Not that busy."

’As if anyone would believe that. Looking like that and still saying he’s not busy.’

Indeed, ever since Cillian Forrest had returned, an overwhelming flood of matters had crashed down on him. He had to suppress those with ulterior motives, navigate between various factions, and shuttle back and forth between the Imperial Palace and the military district every day.

Only after dealing with one matter after another did he manage to bring a semblance of stability to the situation.

Though there were still some things left unfinished, after hearing what Leo Fane had said, he came anyway. He knew a pile of work was waiting and that all eyes were on him, but he still came.

He hadn’t even had a proper chance to see her since arriving on the Capital Planet, and future opportunities would likely be...

"I brought you some food." As he spoke, Cillian Forrest placed the items on the dining table and opened them.

’It wasn’t my imagination last time. She really has lost some weight.’

Sophie Wexler looked at him in surprise. She had noticed the things in his hands earlier but hadn’t expected it to be food.

"Don’t worry, it was made according to your recipes."

He knew she disliked their food. Back on Karath, Sophie Wexler had researched a lot of recipes.

He had specifically taken her recipes and had the staff at the Imperial Palace prepare the meal.

It looked quite appealing. Sophie Wexler took a bite, and her eyes instantly lit up.

"This is delicious!" During her time on the Capital Planet, she hadn’t cooked much since it wasn’t her own turf. She was about to get sick from all the nutrient liquid.

"You came all this way just to bring me food?" Sophie Wexler asked, looking up at Cillian Forrest after taking a couple of bites.

She had thought Cillian Forrest had other things to discuss, like the matching, but he didn’t say anything about it.

Cillian Forrest’s eyes were dark and deep as he hummed in affirmation.

The room fell quiet. One of them ate while the other simply sat there in silence.

Lately, Cillian Forrest had been completely enveloped by his duties. He hadn’t felt tired, as this was how he had always lived. But now, sitting in front of Sophie Wexler, he felt a profound sense of exhaustion.

His entire being, body and mind, couldn’t help but relax.

When Sophie Wexler finished eating and turned her head, she saw that he had fallen asleep. His eyes were closed, and his breathing had become deep and steady.

"Just how tired are you?" Sophie Wexler sighed. "You were better off on Karath."

After speaking, Sophie Wexler placed her fingers on the man’s wrist and felt his spiritual power crashing about chaotically.

"I knew your spiritual power would be unstable."

She murmured this, then released her own spiritual power to soothe his. Her spiritual power was already at Level 3S, and she thought she could reach the depths of his Spiritual Sea. Who would have thought she would still hit a barrier halfway through?

A flicker of light crossed Sophie Wexler’s eyes. Afraid of waking him, she didn’t try to force her way in. Instead, she soothed the outer turmoil before withdrawing. Gazing at the sleeping man, she murmured to herself, "Just what is your Level?"

The room was perfectly silent. Sophie Wexler said no more. She got up, fetched a blanket to cover him with, and then left the room.

「The next day」

When Sophie Wexler woke up, the room was empty. If it weren’t for the food containers on the table, she might have thought no one had visited yesterday at all.

"He left without even saying goodbye," Sophie Wexler muttered under her breath.

Then, she picked up her communicator, ready to send a message to a certain someone and complain about his behavior.

But as soon as she picked up the communicator, she saw a message from the Healer-class Association.

[The Healer-class Association: Esteemed Healer, your rating results will be displayed on the matching platform today. The matching application channel has been opened. Please review it at your earliest convenience.]

The Level assessment would only be published on the matching platform. Furthermore, only those who met the matching criteria, as calculated by the Light Brain, would be able to see it. This meant that only individuals at Level 3S or higher could view Sophie Wexler’s Level and information and submit a matching application.

Sophie Wexler was stunned. She hadn’t expected to see this message.

Then she thought of Cillian Forrest. ’He must have known about this yesterday, right?’

As it turned out, Cillian Forrest had indeed known in advance. He had originally intended to tell Sophie Wexler when he visited yesterday, but for some reason, he hadn’t brought it up in the end.

Cillian Forrest’s eyes narrowed slightly as he looked at the current discussions on StarNet.

[They’re about to announce the Healer-class test Levels! I’m so excited! I hope I log on and meet the matching criteria.]

[Dream on. There’s no way they’ll push a High-Rank Healer to us normal people.]

[We don’t even know if there are any High-Rank ones this time, or how high they’ll be.]

[Probably A. There are always a few A’s every time.]

[There’s an even higher one. S+. I have inside info.]

[And you guys probably don’t know, but there was a conflict among the Healers. A low-level Healer provoked that High-Rank one. I heard the low-level one is super arrogant and refused to apologize.]

[For real? Who are you kidding? No low-level would dare provoke a high-level one.]

[I’m not kidding! My brother’s wife’s cousin is on the staff handling this batch of Healers. He saw it with his own eyes.]

[That low-level one really doesn’t know her place. Anyone know her name? Let’s make her face the consequences for bullying a High-Ranker.]

[I think her name was something Wexler.]

Cillian Forrest’s eyes darkened as he read the comments. He hadn’t even known about this.

He ordered Ethan Cross, who was beside him, "Look into it."

Ethan Cross was also surprised that someone had dared to cause trouble for Miss Wexler right under their noses. "Yes, Marshal."

"Delete all those negative posts."

Ethan Cross: "Understood."

In an instant, all the negative posts about Sophie Wexler were deleted, leaving only the discussions about the Level assessment results being announced today.

[Huh? Where’d my post go?]

He was still puzzling over it when, a moment later, the matching application channel on the official Healer-class Association website opened.

[The channel is open!]

[Sigh, my Level is low, B-level. I can only apply for a C-class.]

[Waiting to see if any S-Level or higher people show up. I’m dying to know what the highest Level is this time.]

Finally, half an hour after the matching application channel opened, a piece of news appeared on StarNet that sent a shockwave through the public.

[WHAT DID YOU SAY?! THERE’S A LEVEL 3S HEALER?!!]
