Chapter 122: Survival Mode.
Sunnie never really understood the concept of power and dominance in the survival spaces of the animal kingdom. She never understood the logic of bigger animals eliminating weaker ones to take their space or take them. She never really understood the concept of survival in general in the animal kingdom.
But at that moment, Sunnie understood it well enough. They needed this space to survive; they had to eat. And it met all the requirements. Now all they had to do was overpower those in power and take it.
Sunnie felt like a wild beast with such thoughts.
"Huh?" Little Black was shocked by her thoughts. "You want to...? Huh?"
Luka blinked. "You want to fight the snakes?"
"Oh, interesting. The female wants to take the land by all means," Eris nodded while running his hand over his cheek.
Azure approached her. "How are you going to do that?"
Little Black shook his head. "No. We shouldn’t do that. From what I’ve heard, they’re so vicious. They’re pure evil, and I don’t think we’re any match for them at all. So we should just leave." He said, pulling Sunnie by the leg.
Karl scoffed. "This is getting interesting, I see."
But Sunnie had already made up her mind. "Don’t worry. I know it’s certainly going to be dangerous, but I’ve already made up my mind that I’ll clear this land today and begin the farming process immediately so we can have something to eat soon. So I won’t stop now." She insisted as she summoned her system.
Sunnie knew that the system could provide something she could use for this situation. A chemical or something she could use to eliminate these snakes would be the most suitable now.
And so she went to the system store and began her survey. Her jaw simply dropped at all she saw.
The chemicals she saw for this were freaking expensive. And the fact that the land was big meant she’d need a larger portion of the chemicals.
A small portion of 1,000 to 2,000 heart coins wouldn’t cover much at all. It would only eliminate a few, and the rest would probably come and end them.
"Damn this big land," she muttered as she continued going through the system store for a better option.
The best option that would cover all the land was there, but it was a whopping 10,000 heart coins.

The system announced.
[50% discount from its original 20,000 heart coins.]
[And the discount exists since I realize the host is too poor to afford anything now. So this should do.]

But Sunnie stared at the price, speechless. "Do you even call this a discount? I barely have 15,000 heart coins. Getting this would leave me with 5,000. What coins would I use to get the rest of the farming stuff?"

Sunnie sighed as she ran a hand through her hair. She couldn’t spend all that on the chemical. She knew she’d need to get some other stuff.
She thought of what to do next. And at that moment, the system beeped again.

Sunnie sighed as she stared at the task. It wasn’t a bad one at all. At least it solved her problem of eliminating the snakes while also detoxifying the land.
At least she didn’t have to spend coins to get a different chemical for that.

Sunnie quickly accepted the task without hesitation. She could work with it. Now all she had to think about was how to convince all her husbands to join, since they were already looking so skeptical about the place to begin with.

Sunnie was done with the system as she turned to her husbands with a broad smile. She guessed it was time to pull this one again.
She blinked at them as they stared at her.
"What’s wrong with her?" Luka asked. "Does she have some eye problem or something?"
Karl instantly panicked, flashbacks rushing back to him. "That again...?"
Sunnie put on a cute expression with adorable eyes and a pouty face as she approached Azure, holding him gently by the hand. "Please... help me out with this... I can’t do it alone... and I’ll need your assistance to help kill those scary snakes in there... please?" She gave him puppy eyes while pulling him closer.
Azure instantly fell for it without question. His heart fluttered as he let out a smile with a nod. "Okay. Sure. I’ll help you out if you say so."
[Ding!]

Sunnie put on the same expression as she approached Luka. She held onto his hand as she stared into his eyes as though she was about to cry. "Please... help me out and kill those scary things... please."
Luka blinked. "But I’m scared too."
"...."
"...."
Sunnie held onto her expression. She couldn’t break down now. She continued. "Please... I know you’re so smart and strong and all... I know how capable you are... and I promise to give you a bigger portion of meat when we’re done today."
Immediately, Luka blinked and nodded. "Okay! Sure. I’ll help." He smiled, the thought of the meat he would get filling his mind.

Sunnie smiled as she turned to Eris with the same expression on her face. But Eris instantly looked around, folding his arms as he said, "No. Never. Not even a chance."
