Sunnie smiled as she stared at the wolf approaching. Her husbands stood behind, watching as it came to stand before Sunnie. The wolf turned, bending for Sunnie to get on.

Sunnie smiled. "That’s a good boy." She got onto its back and held on.

Luka blinked. "I guess you now have a loyal pet."

Sunnie smiled. "That’s what you get for sharing." She patted the wolf. "Let’s go."

The wolf took off with Sunnie on its back. Her husbands followed behind, running. They were fast enough to keep up with the wolf, all of them sprinting with immense speed through the woods.

In a short time, they finally arrived at their destination.

---

"Stop here." Sunnie held onto the wolf as it pulled over. She slowly got down from the wolf while looking around. "It should be around here... where could it be...?"

They looked around for a sign. But then Eris’s ears twitched. "I think I hear something."

Sunnie listened with her long ears, and she also heard it—the sound of something groaning in pain. "Over there." Sunnie led the way as they arrived at the destination.

In the thick woods of the forest, they saw Karl sitting there on the ground. He was hunched over his waist, holding a stick.

He was in immense pain. His face was already pale and sick while he fought to chase away a group of black leopards surrounding him.

They were dark and dangerous. These leopards were huge; one could only see their glowing yellow eyes. And there were about five in total.

At the moment, it was clear that they were out to devour Karl, who didn’t even have the strength to fight.

"What the hell are those...?" Luka gasped.

"We have to save him," Sunnie said. She stared at the duration left. She had twenty minutes left, so she had to quickly get to Karl and help him.

He didn’t look strong at all anymore.

Zayn stepped forward. "We’ll handle it." He glared at the leopards, who had now turned to see who was behind them, all looking vicious and unfriendly.

Azure stood by his side. "You should stay behind..." He stared at Sunnie. "We’ll handle it."

Before he could finish, the wolf jumped into the scene. The huge vicious wolf slapped one of the leopards with its leg, slapped another with its tail, and pounced on another.

Chaos erupted as the leopards attacked them now, leaving Karl.

Sunnie blinked. "Well, I guess we forgot about him."

Zayn attacked a leopard, grabbing it by the neck and slamming his fist against its face. The leopard flew backwards and hit itself against a tree. It staggered, found its feet, and attacked again.

Eris and Luka fought together, attacking two leopards. The two of them kept running while dodging the attacks of the leopards.

They kept running until they fell into a trap. Then the two of them twirled, jumped onto a tree, and landed on their attackers for a massive counterattack.

Azure stood there calmly with a cold expression. He watched as one of the leopards approached him.

He didn’t bother. As it got closer, he stretched out his hands. His fingers grew into sharp blue claws, which he used to sting deep into the leopard.

His venom bled into the leopard, and it staggered backwards. The venom took effect immediately, making the leopard shake uncontrollably. Azure then attacked, sending a kick over its head and watching it fall, staggering.

Sunnie stood there watching as her husbands went wild in the fight. She couldn’t help but be impressed.

They were wild beastmen after all.

"Oh, yeah!" Sunnie turned to Karl and quickly rushed towards him.

Karl was on the ground. He had moved to lean against a tree as Sunnie came to kneel beside him. Without asking, she took his wrist and began examining it.

"What are you doing?" Karl glared at her. He was too weak to speak or even protest. He simply stared at her, confused.

"Just shut up and cooperate if you don’t want to die." Sunnie kept examining. Karl just let her; he was too weak to do anything.

Sunnie had her system before her. While she examined his pulse, the system presented the needed diagnosis.

She stared at it, reading that Karl had eaten a poisonous fruit while he was extremely hungry. It was affecting him, almost getting to his heart.

"You should have just said you were hungry and not taken something harmful to you," she murmured after making the examination.

Sunnie stared at him. He already had both eyes closed. He was too weak to even open them. Sunnie gently slapped his cheeks. "Hey! Wake up... don’t close your eyes."

Karl groaned. "What...? Leave me alone..."

Sunnie sighed. "You..." She shook her head as she turned to her system. She needed medication, so she went through the system store for one.

Sunnie knew she couldn’t save him completely here in the woods. She needed to take him back home and do a proper treatment session.

But with about ten minutes left, there was no time. So she needed something to sustain him long enough. She went through the pills the system offered.

There was one that would sustain him for another hour, which was the cheapest, one that would sustain him for three hours, and so on.

Sunnie overlooked them all and went for the highest—the one that would sustain him for a full day. It was 4,000 heart coins.

She sighed as she stared at it, biting her tongue. She would be spending a lot for someone from whom she hadn’t even gotten a single heart coin! But she had to get the best to be able to properly take care of him.

"You’ll have to start paying up sooner or later," she said as she closed her eyes and forgot all the evil he had done to her while she made the purchase.
