One morning, they had collectively gone to the farmland to clear it up. Sunnie had already observed that everything in the farm had matured enough to be taken. Nothing was left. So they had gone for the last set of harvest while also mildly clearing the place for future preparation of planting.

They worked on the land for a while, and now the women were making preparations to head back when they suddenly encountered some unexpected visitors—beastmen from other tribes whom they were familiar with.

The beastmen of the lower power—where the rabbit beastmen were part of, the bear beastmen, some mer beastmen, and the mice beastmen—had decided to visit in a bigger group after realizing that their members were part of the tribe Sunnie had built. So they came in a group and visited them at the farmland.

As soon as Sunnie and the rest sighted them, their once happy expressions faded. A lot of painful memories came crashing back as soon as they saw these people who had inflicted that pain on them. They couldn’t help but clench their fists in fury at the sight.

No one approached; they were too affected by the sight to even move. But Sunnie approached nonetheless, followed by Zayn and Karl, who stood beside her in firm protection.

Sunnie stared at the rabbit beastmen there—some female and male. She couldn’t believe she recognized them, especially her brother and mother, who were standing there. The memories of the previous host struck at that moment, enough for her to feel the familiar faces of these bastards who had done her dirty in the previous life and also feel the pain of the previous host.

She recalled the way they had all collectively bullied her for being a "jinx" while also treating her like an outcast, gossiping behind her back and openly treating her like a monster while avoiding her.

No one wanted to spend time with her, let alone play with her. She naturally had no friends or companions. And when her mate managed to die, everyone turned on her, bullying her and calling her names. They had made her life miserable.

Even her own family—consisting of her mother and brother—had abandoned her from day one. They joined others in speaking ill about her and even encouraging everyone that she was a monster. They accused her of being the cause of her father’s death and bringing the downfall of their family.

And so the tribe had ultimately called a spiritual beastman priest, a monkey, who had divined her a monster that should be cast away. The spiritual beastman demanded they run some spiritual test on her. This involved tying Sunnie up like a criminal and parading her across neighboring beast tribes while throwing eggs at her.

Sunnie went through this humiliation until they finally decided that she was a cursed being that must be cast away from the beastmen and married off to the wild beastmen to appease the gods, else she would bring destruction to everyone around her.

The original host had cried and begged her mother and brother not to dispose of her, but they didn’t listen. Without a second thought, they cast her off to die.

Sunnie felt the pain of the original host as she stared at the rabbit tribe there, especially her brother and mother, who were standing in front with the tribe leader, staring at her as if they hadn’t done anything to her. Sunnie felt bitter and disgusted. She couldn’t even believe that they had the guts to show up here.

The same way, Azure and Luka also felt the same seeing their people there, standing shamelessly and smiling at them as if nothing had happened.

Luka couldn’t believe that they would still show up after what had happened at the competition a while back. But they still had the guts. Now he wasn’t even scared of them at all. Rather, he was simply disgusted and infuriated.

Azure also felt the same—disgusted and angry at the sight before him. He tried hiding it by keeping his calm expression but it was pretty much impossible to hide while he stood at his distance, staring at them with both of his fists clenched.

The mice were speechless at the sight of their tribe members there as well. They couldn’t believe they would come after them after abandoning them here to die all this while.

They were speechless, staring at them as the memories of what they went through at their hands came flashing back. They recalled how the women were ridiculed and cast out of their land for being infertile.

The pain was still there as they stared at them, speechless.

Elza held her child firmly while staring at these shameless, disgusting beings before her. She recalled what they had put her through—the trauma that she went through because of them. She would never forgive them, especially after what she and her child had to go through because of them, and because of her husband too.

She had finally found her peace and happiness here, and she couldn’t bear seeing these faces anymore in her life for her own peace of mind.

They all felt the same—standing there and staring at the disturbing faces of these people who had put them through hell, all smiling brightly as if they hadn’t done anything, as if nothing had happened, as if everything could just be forgiven and overlooked.

Sunnie held a cold and calm expression as if she wasn’t feeling anything within as she said, "No wonder the sun wasn’t looking so bright today. I guess some assholes made their way into the land of the evil forest for some strange reason."

She scoffed as she glared at them. "I’m curious to know what such highly distinguished beast males are doing here. I mean, there’s nothing fascinating to see or do here. So what are you distinguished beastmen doing here of all places?" She asked, contempt filling her tone and eyes.
