Chapter 247: Peaceful Sleep.
Everyone had returned that night after being informed that Lune had been found. Eris had rushed back home immediately without a second thought. He was over the moon when they brought the news to him.
Now everyone was back home, and most people had made their way into the cave where Lune was sleeping. They gathered around him, staring down at the little cub sleeping peacefully as if he hadn’t caused some major chaos here.
They all blinked, speechless while staring at him in disbelief.
"He was here... all along...?" Karl asked, arms folded as they stared at him. "He really is something."
Sunnie sighed with a smile as she shook her head. "Look at the bright side—at least he’s here and safe. And nothing happened to him, so I think that’s okay."
Eris nodded in agreement. "As long as the cub is fine, nothing else matters."
They all let out sighs of relief while staring at the little cub—the one who had put them in panic mode that day, the reason they were running around the evil forest while fighting wild monsters.
The little cub who was here sleeping peacefully as if nothing was happening at all.
Luka smiled as he said, "I guess he really did take us for a ride." He tried joking, but they all stared at him with cold expressions. Luka went quiet again.
"You all shouldn’t be too noisy," Maren expressed while she stared closely at the little boy sleeping. "He’s sleeping peacefully. So let’s not disturb him at all."
Ronan nodded in agreement. "Yes, yes. I agree."
The adults said nothing. They didn’t oppose but stared at him with smiles.
At that moment, Sunnie turned and stared at Eris, who was standing close to the cub and smiling at him. He was so happy to see the little cub sleeping safely that he forgot he had been bitten by a snake earlier.
Sunnie slowly reached out and took his hand. "Now that the cub is safe, let’s go and get you treated first."
Eris smiled as he stared at his hand. "Must it be now? Why can’t we just watch the little one sleep for some time?"
"No. Let’s get you treated before it gets worse or something." She shook her head with a smile.
"Mama! Look what you and Papa caused now. Little Lune is awake now," Maren expressed, disappointed.
Sunnie and Eris smiled as they turned to stare at Lune, who was awake, lying there and staring at all the eyes that were on him. He was staring at them so innocently as though he hadn’t just caused chaos in the tribe, leaving everyone worried.
"I think we’ll forgive you because you’re so cute," Luka said with a smile as he stretched out his hand and patted Lune on the head.
"You’re stopping him from sleeping," Maren insisted, becoming the baby manager at the scene while everyone smiled at her bossing around.

That night, they didn’t use a single fireplace to gather and eat. There were more people in the tribe now, so they had different fireplaces and gatherings.
The food was prepared and served to everyone who sat down around their fires while they enjoyed the meal.
Throughout that night, all anyone could talk about was their experience from the search party that day. It had turned out fun for them to talk about now, even though they were all worried while searching for the missing cub.
"I almost got attacked by a huge bee!"
"...I thought I fell into a trap or something."
They all discussed their experiences while laughing.
Even Luka couldn’t stop telling everyone how Eris had taken down all the wolves himself. "He was so cool and powerful while fighting all those wolves alone! I was impressed!"
He explained how he had taken the wolves alone while Sunnie and the rest smiled while listening.
"That sounds cool! Papa is so cool!" Ronan said proudly as he turned to Eris, tilting closer to him.
Luka stared at him. "Hey, I’m your main papa. Don’t go around getting close to other papas." He said as everyone laughed.
"He’s jealous," Elza said, shaking her head as they ate.
Maren was happily carrying and feeding Lune, who was eating happily from her. Luna was sitting down close to her elder sister while playing with her food and eating as well.
"You hear that, Lune?" Maren told Lune while feeding him. "You’ve caused enough headache for everyone even though you’ve been so quiet. So next time, don’t do that again."
Lune nodded profusely while concentrating heavily on the meal before him, opening his mouth and taking the food in while Maren smiled, proudly feeding him. "That’s a good boy," she said.
Azure smiled as he said to his daughter, "You should also tell the little Luna not to start a fight with the snakes again."
Luka nodded. "The last time she provoked the bees, they all came running after me for hours."
Everyone laughed, recalling the memories from just a few days ago.
Luka shook his head as he said, "And now it’s some snakes. Are you sure that she won’t attack some wild animals or wolves next time?"
They all laughed while staring at Luna, who didn’t seem to care. She was too busy playing with the meal in her hand to even listen to what they were saying about her.
Eris smiled as he said, "And that’s my little girl." He said proudly. "She’s going to be a great warrior like her father."
"You’re not a warrior, though," Luka said as everyone laughed.
Eris glared at him. "Shut up. But she’s going to be a great fighter like me. So she’s just practicing now." He said as everyone laughed while staring at little Luna.
Luna didn’t look up at them at all. She was still busy fighting with the meal in her hand while eating. They simply shook their heads with smiles, while admiring the twin cubs before them.
