Sunnie blinked as she stared at the system. At that moment, Karl had already checked out.
He had publicly announced, "You all can go and work hard. Okay? I’ll sit around and wait." He was the only person who wasn’t going.
And at that moment, Sunnie realized that the system was playing with her indeed. This system wanted her to convince him to join.
She might have refused if the reward was some heart coins or something. But it was a cheat code to the best land she needed.
That was the answer to her problem. So Sunnie knew she certainly needed it.
She hesitated, inhaling and exhaling to stay calm as she slowly turned to face Karl, who was sitting down comfortably in a corner.
Sunnie forced a smile. It was time to pull out some tricks to make this work, and fast.
Karl looked up at Sunnie, who was staring at him with a broad smile he found strange and suspicious.
"What? Why are you staring at me? I’m not joining you guys. You can curse at me all you want. I won’t," he insisted.
But Sunnie shook her head while smiling. "No. I can never curse at my husband like that. Never!"

Karl was confused and speechless. And so was everyone else who stared at them.
"What?" Karl asked.
Sunnie smiled more as she said, "I don’t dare say such harsh words to someone as hardworking and dedicated as you. All I can do is make you feel happy."
Fear was written all over their faces. Karl was instantly terrified. They couldn’t help but wonder what the hell was happening right now.
But Sunnie didn’t end there. She got up to her feet and walked toward Karl, then sat down beside him.
Sunnie glared at Karl with a smile, blinking. Karl shifted away from her, but she moved closer to him, brushing her body against his. Everyone stared in shock.
"What... what are you doing?" he asked, almost terrified and panicking.
Sunnie smiled. "Why are you running away from me, my dear husband? We’re both mates, so at least we should always be this close!" Sunnie leaned closer. "So don’t run away from me, my husband."
Karl panicked. "What’s wrong with you? What’s gotten into you? Leave me alone." He wanted to get up and leave, but Sunnie held him by the hand.
"It’s cruel for you to leave me like this, my dear husband," she expressed, pulling him to sit closer to her. Karl panicked the most in fear.
"What’s gotten into you? What’s wrong with you? Hey!"
Sunnie leaned her face closer to him with a smile as she said, "If my husband doesn’t want to go and farm, then I don’t want to go either."

Everyone stared in undeniable shock and confusion. Only Elza and Eris smiled at the scene.
Eris shook his head as he muttered, "She’s really pulling her shameless side on him. Really smart."
Karl panicked. "What are you even talking about? Leave me... you can go and farm!"
"No. I can never leave without you. I love you so much that I want to stay with my husband every day and spend each moment with you. So I’ve sworn that if my husband isn’t coming, I’ll also not go."
"No! You can go! Leave me!" He struggled to grab his hand away, but Sunnie held him firm and moved closer.
Karl was shocked when he felt Sunnie’s lips move closer and she kissed him on the cheek.
Karl panicked like a young teenage boy. His cheeks flushed pink as he felt his heart race like it was in a marathon.
For some seconds, he couldn’t move. He couldn’t even bring his brain to think at all. He simply sat there, staring into thin air.
Eris smiled as he teased, "Oh! Our Karl is getting all shy now!"
Elza smiled while covering the eyes of Maren and Mii, whom she was carrying. She couldn’t predict what the shameless Sunnie would pull next.
Zukka tried closing Little Black’s eyes, but he brushed his hands off immediately.
Sunnie smiled as she stared at Karl. "I will stay with my husband if he won’t farm with us. I’ll always love and kiss him every day."
Karl panicked and turned to her. "What do you even mean by that?"
Sunnie leaned in. "That I’ll spend my whole day kissing you!" She pressed her lips closer to kiss his lips.
But Karl instantly moved backwards and fell on his bottom. "Leave me! Ouch! I’ll go! I’ll go to the damn farm! So stop!"
Immediately, Sunnie smiled as she stared at him on the ground. Sunnie shrugged and said, "Okay then, my dear husband. If you say so, there’s nothing I can do about it. You’re welcome to come to the farm with us."
She said with a victorious smile while staring at Karl, who was glaring coldly at her. He certainly wasn’t happy with anything at all. But everyone around laughed at the scene that had just unfolded. It was indeed pure comedic relief from all the worries they had been feeling for a while.
And Sunnie simply turned to stare at the system, which had just beeped above her.
