Chapter 1253: Everyone Is Hiding the Truth from Her
Aurelia went to Mason Nightshade’s company. She was disheveled, without makeup, with dark circles around her eyes from a poor night’s sleep, but as soon as she entered the company, Mason’s secretary recognized her.
Seeing her rush in, the secretary thought she had another falling out with Mason and came to cause trouble. "Miss Aurelia, I’m sorry, the president is not here, you can’t just enter the president’s office."

Adrian was silent for a moment, Ava sitting beside him, her head tilted with reddened eyes looking at him. Tears welled in her eyes, on the verge of falling, making him sigh.
He shouldn’t have given Aurelia Ava’s number, knowing this would happen.
This girl is too soft-hearted, sorrowful for any trouble her loved ones face.
He wiped away Ava’s tears, which finally couldn’t be held back, and spoke with lips moving, his voice steady and indifferent, "You need to understand his identity. Sometimes, even you can’t know his whereabouts. As his woman, you should have this realization."
"His identity is marked by you. What he truly wants, you should be most aware of. I won’t interfere much in your confidential matters. I just want to know, is he alright?" Even if Adrian didn’t know about Mason’s rebirth, his cleverness must have noticed something unusual, not without doubt.
After all, she and Mason were limited in the country under this man’s control, and reason told her not to offend this man, but Mason’s safety was more important to her than anything and anyone. She was willing to do anything for him!
"He’s fine." Adrian finished his words and unilaterally ended the call.
Ava’s tears instantly fell, "Why didn’t you tell Aurelia the truth?"
"Telling her won’t change anything, nor can it alter what has already happened. It would just be one more person grieving." Moreover, this matter does involve things not convenient for Aurelia to know. "This is also Mason’s wish."
