In the makeshift conference room, Director Wallace and Zane Langdon had already arrived. The screenwriter, Lucy Warren, was also there.
"Director Wallace, Mr. Langdon, Warren," Raymond Ford hurried forward to greet them.
"Have a seat. The revised scripts are in front of you. Take a look."
Melody Monroe opened the script in front of her and was shocked after reading just a few pages!
She was still playing the role of Willow Lynch, but now her character wouldn’t die. Many scenes had been added for her, and the original second female lead’s character had been cut completely.
In other words, as Willow Lynch, she had become the new second female lead.
"Director Wallace and I revised the script together. I spent almost two days and nights finalizing the general direction. What you’re seeing now is just a rough outline. I’ll get the full script and lines to you as quickly as possible," Lucy Warren said to the three leads in front of her.
"Mm," Zane Langdon nodded. "My schedule changed a bit after signing with Starfall, but I’ll be prioritizing Director Wallace’s film. My availability shouldn’t be an issue."
"I have no problem either. Thank you, Director Wallace, for giving me this opportunity! I will play this role well and live up to your trust." Melody Monroe clutched the script, her grip tightening.

Raymond Ford sneered inwardly.
’Of course Melody Monroe has no problem! She’s probably ecstatic!’
"Melody, your role has changed. Rose Shaw has been handling your compensation, but now that your part has been expanded so much, we’ll be adjusting your pay. We’ll add fifty thousand per episode to your original rate. What do you think?" Director Wallace asked Melody.
"No problem," Melody Monroe nodded immediately.
’Truthfully, she had no idea what the going rate was.’

Director Wallace looked over at Raymond Ford. "Raymond, any issues on your end?"

She was smiling on the outside, but inwardly, all she could think was ’Motherfucker!’
’Not only had so many of my scenes been cut, but the character of Willow Lynch had gone from a bit part to the second female lead! No, looking at the distribution of scenes, her role was now basically on par with the female lead’s!’
’But what power did she have to object? She could only go along with it!’
"Alright, since no one has any issues, it’s settled. The work ahead will be grueling for everyone. We have to make up for lost time and try to shorten the shooting schedule."
"Okay," the three said in unison.

Rhona Hughes was throwing a tantrum in her room.
"Who did Melody Monroe sleep with? They’re actually adding scenes just for her character! Hailey Paige couldn’t get that done with tens of millions, or even a hundred million, but Melody gets her wish just by sleeping with someone for one night?!"
Wendy stood to the side, not daring to make a sound.
"She’s just coasting on that pretty face of hers!" Rhona Hughes’s chest heaved with anger.
