Trinitas Mundus

Episode Seven: Life Preparation

Leaving the Adventurer Guild, Ray and Ashley went to a tool shop in the commercial district after lunch to get all the tools they needed.

When I walked into the tool store, some elf men - Manuel Mullville - seemed bored with the store number.

Ashley introduces Manuel to Ray lightly before looking at the tools he needs.

"That's a backpack first. Then a cloak to hide that noticeable armor. A knife and a water bottle… about daily necessities later"

It looks to him like she's having fun choosing.

(Do women still like to shop? I wonder why people even seem to enjoy shopping?

He has a knife and a water bottle in the item box, so he tells them, "I have a knife and a water bottle, so I'm fine," but the first elf I see up close is rare, and I look at the Manuel.

With the city of Morton on the border with the Kingdom of Sartooth and many elves living in Sartooth, the presence of the elves is not uncommon in this city either.

The shopkeeper asked, "Is elf unusual? Or is there something on my face," he seemed offended by being stared at.

Ray apologizes honestly and Ashley puts in a follow up.

"This guy is losing his memory. So I guess I thought it was unusual. No offense. Forgive me."

Manuel makes a face telling him to do it, but he didn't say anything more.

Tools, backpacks, capes, magic props for ignition, cooking tools for camping, ropes, etc. are selected as necessary enough.

She turned to Ray,

"I think this is the place, if you need anything else, just tell me"

He had nothing in particular to think of, so he said, "Thank you. I think that's enough," he bows his head.

And then I make the payment and leave the store, but he was just a little depressed.

(One hundred and fifty C (krona) for the total amount… not a big deal in terms of amount. But I left it up to Ashley to negotiate the price cut. But I don't know what it's worth... even if it's one of these things, I'm going to be compassionate...)

Then I went to the clothes store and bought my usual linen shirt and pants, plus underwear. The garments were surprisingly expensive and, despite buying old clothes, they amounted to about 50C in total.

It was around 3pm with adventurer registration and shopping.

"Thanks for hanging out with me today. Thank you so much. So, what are you going to do after this? You're gonna stay at the baron's mansion?

"I'm going to the usual inn today, but what's Ray going to do?

After a little thought, he seemed a little spicy,

"I wonder if I could go to the inn where Ashley is staying. He looks spicy at the Baron's, and I'm anxious to be alone..."

After she said she didn't mind, she said, "Do you want to go back to the mansion to pick up your stuff" and started climbing the ramp by herself.

The moment she turns her back on him, she realizes her face is on fire.

(I wonder why. Why do you find it fun to be with? He's just an unreliable man...)

She had a long mercenary life.

Since mourning his mother, who, like his father, was a mercenary, his father's mercenary regiment was home and family.

Seven years after decorating his first formation at the age of fifteen, he has stood on the battlefield more than a hundred times, including raids from demons during merchant escorts and skirmishes between the Kingdom of Lax and the Caerm Empire, although he has not participated in large-scale battles.

A year ago, as a solo mercenary and adventurer, I questioned the continuation of mercenaries under the shelter of my father, based here in the city of Morton.

There were always boneless soldiers, adventurers around her, and that was normal.

A man named Ray we met yesterday was nothing like the “man” she knew. No, if it's just a martial arts arm, it's a top-level man in a world familiar to her - a mercenary world.

But the inside of it is not a warrior, nor a merchant or peasant she has protected.

A strange man who used strange weapons and magic to save her.

Even if she finds out she's the daughter of the famous mercenary regiment leader, she looks at me like a normal woman. He thinks he treated me in the same way as a very ordinary woman, for example a girl like Oriana, the baroness, rather than a giraffed, lustful eye like the leader of a bandit.

That was very fresh for her.

(Anyway, I look forward to starting tomorrow. For the time being, it could be interesting to combine with Ray......)

Meanwhile, Ray was starting to care about Ashley, too.

Originally, I was beginning to be attracted to that confident attitude and beauty because I admired an active woman like her.

(It's nice to have a woman like that.) But I guess I don't see her as a man for Ashley because of her history without her = age and naturally about me as a virgin)

He thought so, and he also felt that there was something in him that would hook him up.

(Same story as "Trinitas Mundus," I feel like I'm being blocked by something... obviously some of the memories of the original world are also blocked. When a woman's appearance seems to come to my attention, I immediately wonder as if Kasumi hung... I wonder who that is and what it is to me...)

He gave up on no further thought and remembered the words he had just said to Ashley.

(Because I'm anxious on my own... that's not what a big man would say. It's like you're telling me to stay with you... and I hope it doesn't sound like you have a lower heart...)

With that in mind, walking silently for about twenty minutes, he arrived at the baron's mansion.

When I entered the mansion, Edward the butler welcomed me.

"I'd like to tell the Baron that I thanked him yesterday and that I'm going to be able to spare you now, could you confirm the Baron's convenience?

Edward said, "I'm in awe. Please wait in the guest room," he said, turning to the office.

Ray and Ashley head to the given room and prepare to leave.

Originally, Ray, who did not have the luggage, and Ashley, who only had the minimum luggage because of the escort assignment, quickly finish packing.

Ray worried about using the item box, and decided to put some of the cape and knight's clothes he had originally worn, and some of the cash, in the item box.

(As far as Ashley is concerned, I guess I shouldn't use the magic of the item box all the time. Cloak and knight clothes are sealed to prevent trouble. I don't like losing cash, so let's keep it here. Speaking of which, you haven't seen if the gold coins in the item box are the same as the gold coins the baron got. I'm free and do you want to confirm...)

When you take out a piece of gold, it compares to the gold coin in the leather bag.

Much the same size, but the engravings applied to the surface vary considerably. The gold coin I received from the Baron belongs to a simple design, but the gold coin that was in it depicts the side of a man and is marked Lucidus gold coin in elaborate letters around it.

(I wouldn't call it a Japanese coin, but that's a pretty elaborate piece of work. I guess it's just as heavy, but can you use it? Not Ashley in trouble, but I'll ask you later......)

At the time he finished cleaning up the gold coins, Edward came to call.

Ray is guided by Edward, and as he enters the Baron's office, he bows his head deeply.

"Thank you for your help. The adventurer registration has just been successfully completed, so I'm going to go to the City Inn."

"Well...... so what are you going to do after that"

"I can't remember, so I thought I'd let you stay in this city for the time being..."

"I see. Um, if you have any problems, come visit me anytime. I'm not going to stand in your way."

Once again, Ray bowed his head deeply and said, "Thank you for your help," leaving the office.

The remaining barons are:

(If it's the man who looks like him, you can welcome him to my subordinate. Oriana seems to like it too, so you can welcome her to my clan. But that fighting power and that gear is the problem. Lukes, no, I smell trouble with light theism. Until your identity is clear, you should rather keep an eye on it......)

The Baron had ordered one official to be summoned to explore the trends of the Rays.

Ray followed the mansion with Ashley.

After 4 pm, as the flow of people gradually headed for the house, they arrived at the Silver Bell "Ginrei" pavilion, an inn near the middle belly of the hill.

"This is the Silver Bell Pavilion of my permanent residence. My husband, Lester, and his damsel, Bianca, are both young, but cozy. It's a little expensive, but I think Ray's gonna like it too."

Silver Bell Pavilion was a three-story building with flowers planted beneath the window frame on the ground floor, well maintained.

Once inside, there was a well-polished counter, greeted by a smiling woman in her mid-twenties.

"Welcome home, Ashley. Sounds like you've had a rough time."

The story of the Baron being betrayed by mercenaries and attacked by bandits already seems rumored throughout the city.

Ashley looked at Ray,

"Oh, if it weren't for Ray here, he would definitely be dead. By the way, Bianca, is the room empty?

"Yeah, I'm free. A room for two, maybe? Or two rooms for one?

Ashley shouted slightly louder, "You'd have one room in two!," he said, blushing.

Ray was also solidified by the word two-person room.

"Oh, don't you have to deny it so much? I was just teasing you, hehe, you're so cute."

even more teasing Ashley, who was turning bright red. Bianca turned to Ray,

"I am Bianca, the general here. My husband's making dinner arrangements right now, so I'll let him say hello later. And you're a good man. When Ashley from Park Sinren brings a guy for the first time, he gets a little jealous of a good guy like you. Oh, don't tell my husband about this."

That's what I say, meditate a small eye.

He just said "thank you" and couldn't say anything more.

"The price is eight C (krona) for two meals a day. Tell me the day before if you have lunch. Six C's a day if it's just a room charge. Our meals are delicious, so if it's just a room charge, there's nothing left. Room number one on the third floor. It's the most end-of-the-line room, and next door is Ashley, so hehe."

They make fun of me even more and make me look bright red. Upon receiving the key after receiving confirmation of the orb, he headed to the third floor to escape.

The room was three and five meters wide and four meters deep, the same size as a business hotel in Japan.

Beds and closets, small tables and chairs are just situated, bathrooms are shared.

Windows have no glass, wooden windows, and walls have one embedded lighting.

(That's the same as what was in the baron's mansion. Sure, all you have to do is touch your hand and magic it when you want to dot it... ok, I dotted it)

Was the magic prop of light prevalent or was it placed in place of pine lights and candles in many places?

(Don't you need magic so much? There were only five or six in the hallway, so there are more than thirty of them in the entire inn...)

Later Ashley told me that I didn't need so much magic, and even a child can turn on about twenty without a problem. However, since the lighting time is short for about two hours, the patrol will have to be re-lit.

He removed his gear and was worried about putting the spear and armor in the item box.

(It's the most expensive property, isn't it? It's troublesome when they steal it, and I know it's easier to get it in, but what's Ashley doing?

He took off his armor for now and when he changed into the clothes he bought today, he headed to Ashley's room next door.

"I need to talk to you for a minute, okay," he said, and when he called, he replied, "You can come in, so I open the door. Looking inside, there was Ashley dressing in her underwear.

After he hastily apologizes, "I'm sorry," he closes the door and stands outside the room.

(Surprised! I think they told me to come in, was it a mistake to ask? I wonder if it will piss me off. But if you take a closer look... no, don't do something that you hate even though you want to have a good relationship with Ashley...)

As he was stuffy outside the door, Ashley, who had finished dressing, called out.

"What's going on? I thought I told you to come in. Okay, so, what's the story?

(I knew I said I was going in. I have no idea if you're indifferent or not looking at me as a man...)

After a few blinks, he asked what he was doing about armor and other equipment.

"Yeah, I'll take the sword to the dining room too, but I'll leave the armor in my room. For once, it will be locked, and the guests in this inn won't be so bad quality, so they'll be fine. If you're worried, it was storage magic, you can use that."

Listening to her advice, he returns to his room to store his armor and spears in an item box.

(But how much does it go in? There doesn't seem to be any level dependence, but think about it after it stops coming in)

It was five o'clock in the afternoon, so I headed to the dining room on the ground floor.

The Silver Bell Pavilion is a dining hall on the ground floor and the living room of the Taverns and Lesters, with rooms on the second and third floors. The second floor consists of four rooms for two, four rooms for four, and the third floor consists of twelve rooms for one.

The dining room on the ground floor had eight table seats for four and ten counter seats, and guests who looked like guests had already sat at the counter to eat.

As they sat in the counter, a grey-haired man appeared from the kitchen.

"He's Lester. I'm the owner of this inn. I'm Ray. I owe you my life."

Ashley introduces each to Lester and Ray.

Lester nodded and blurted,

"The food is either meat or fish. Ask Bianca for the liquor," as soon as I said, I wouldn't utter a word.

The two of them order fish dishes, wait for Bianca to pass by, and ask for white wine.

Bianca, "I'm sorry, I'm heartless," she said, laughing.

The food was chunky and tasted good. Today's fish dish, by the way, is Ivana's vanilla grill.

With her tongue drummed on the dish, Ray decided to ask Ashley what she was going to do from tomorrow.

"Tomorrow, I'm taking my first job, and if I have time, I wonder if you could hang out with me. I don't really know how to get a request..."

She looked strange,

"I was going to, didn't I say? For the time being, I'm going to hang out with you..."

He had a full smile on his face,

"Thanks! There was something about the Baron, and I was worried Ashley might be on guard. Thank you. Thank you so much."

The shaped Ashley, who had a little face for its appearance, blushed a little.

"No, naturally. It's only natural for the Marcats to be grateful. But don't be sweet on me. Be prepared to be tough."

"Copy that. By the way, what kind of request are you going to get tomorrow? Like collecting herbs in the woods or something?

In his words, "Huh?" and after a few short loose voices,

"No, naturally, it's a crusade. I've never been asked to collect, and I'm going to take a demon crusade to raise your arm. I don't know what I'm gonna get until I see the requisition."

"Crusade...... can I? No spears, no swords yet, and I don't know if magic can be used in action. Are you all right?

unconfidential. Seeing him, she spoke a little strongly,

"What are you talking about! You're the one who defeated all those bandits. Be confident. Even this morning's training was fast becoming a middle-class arm. I remember my body. After that, if your heart doesn't lose, nothing's wrong."

He snorts at the words,

(Can you kill a creature by me, a more literary human being in a peaceful country... for Ashley, who grew up surrounded by soldiers from birth, both normal and for me... but I don't want to look embarrassed in front of her anymore. Let's get you in the mood tomorrow)

The meal is over and we go back to our respective rooms.

Nothing in particular after dinner, he was thinking about magic as he fell asleep on the bed.

(Melee may be tough. If it's magic, if it's a monster system with a sense of game, you might be able to kill it...)

He was remembering the magic setting.

Of the eight attributes, the four attributes of fire, light, wind and water are easy to make the magic of the attack system. Given fighting in the woods, the magic of fire is dangerous for extended burning.

(Light, wind, water... Light is easy to imagine “Spear of Light” or “Arrow of Light” used unconsciously. You should just think of an animated laser weapon. Water can attack with ice spears or cold air. But spears of light seem more penetrating than spears of ice, and cold air is a compatibility issue... wind or... if you're going to blow it up with a gust of wind, it seems easy to imagine, but it's going to be hard to create a vacuum and cleave enemies with the principle of kamaitachi. It seems more powerful to fortify the gust and blow it up with an air cannon...... for now, you should extremes one attribute. Then light attributes......)

And I also start thinking about another curative magic that bothers me.

(The healing magic is water or wood attribute. Water is an image of injecting medicine into blood and other body fluids. Trees represent life force, but the image of this is difficult...... the other is light attribute. This is going to be an image that activates cells with light. I don't want to hurt myself to confirm it, but I'll have trouble when I have to be able to use healing magic sooner rather than later...)

Think that far and start thinking about the use of earth, gold and darkness as well.

(Soil is easy to imagine pitfalls, walls, etc. Some would pair it with water to make mud. Gold would be an enhancement to weapons and protective equipment, but this is hard to imagine. We don't seem to need any weapons or protective gear right now, or we can put it behind us. That's the darkness that bothers you the most. Sometimes I create darkness in my eyes, but doing this is going to say something about the Light Divinity of Examples...)

I was thinking about magic. He was asleep before I knew it.
