Trinitas Mundus

Episode XI: Level Up

Ray and Ashley were on their way to the guild to report completion.

Sometimes it's still early - 3pm - and the reception counter is pretty free.

I headed to her counter to say that the completion report would be good for a familiar Ethel.

Ethel was astonished that he would do his job lightly, but in his mind, the crusade of the grey bear, which should take so long, ended so early. And he stared seriously at their orb, realizing there was one, and raised his voice unexpectedly.

"Master Ray's rank is... rising to level seven. I'm up to ten... in just two days..."

At the end of the day, I was out of line and speechless. Ashley, next to Ray, was also staring at him with a surprised look.

"Has the rank risen three levels? The level is also ten at once... well, I defeated the Gray Bear equivalent of the fifth level by myself, so at once..."

"Hih, are you alone! Sorry for the loud noise. But did Master Ashley really not get his hands on it?

Ethel, a commonsense man, lost his usual calm to the anomaly and accidentally raised his voice out loud. I try to get right back to my usual look, but I can only make a smile that has drawn me to too much anomaly.

"Oh, I knocked him down by myself before I could get my hands on him. I can't tell you how I took him down."

Ashley recalls that Ray's magic needs to be covered up. And even Ethel, the guild clerk, wasn't going to say it.

Before the noise arose around them, Ray and Ashley were rewarded and walked away early from the guild.

On her way back to the inn, she said a word, "Tell me your level and skills later," and as she thinks, she walks ahead silently.

(I guess it was a mistake that the level was one, but I've never heard anything like this... it's unusual because I can't confirm my skills in the first place... I'm going to believe it even when they tell me it's God's use, combined with when I first showed up before me...)

From her long experience in the mercenary corps, she knows that rising levels and rising skills are about the same.

For example, the more skill you train without real combat experience, the more experience you accumulate and the higher your level.

There are rarely those who are called geniuses, but there is little difference between skills and levels from around where even that genius has more than ten skills.

As far as she could tell, even those who rose fastest from level one to ten had a year to go. That was the story of a level that would be laughed off if you told people, such as the level going up to ten in just two days.

As soon as you arrive at the inn, enter the room and check Ray's level and skills.

"What's the level... the Magician's Ten? I knew I couldn't confirm my skills."

"Well... I've never heard of a steep rise so far. Ray, are you sure you don't have any idea? the revelation of God or something that said so."

He just roared "hmm" and doesn't utter a word.

(Shall I tell Ashley? I also have trouble getting creepy here... can't you do it yet...)

"No matter how much you think about it, you have no idea."

Although Ashley wasn't convinced, she didn't pursue it any further.

He was trying to recall the setting, about the rank and vocational level of the guild.

(The rank of the Alliance should rise by “Contribution". Your contribution would have increased tenfold if you had asked for a higher rank than yourself. It wouldn't be weird to have a third class special if you were in fifth grade...)

In Ray's case, because of the Lizardman's share of the day before - Lizardman is equivalent to the seventh level - he was up to the ninth level during the previous day, but had not confirmed it because of his magic loss.

It happens well when a highly capable person registers for the first time, but only those with more than the equivalent of a fifth grade can this happen. In other words, he had shown that he had the equivalent of a fifth grade.

(Occupational level should be shown as “level” if you have less experience and skills...)

In his contemplated setting, the occupational level represented only the degree of validity of the profession (such as a swordsman or archer), and experience and skill = lower skill were displayed as “levels”. This was a set up I decided because experience alone would not be able to exert my powers without proper skills and vice versa, skill alone would not be able to exert my powers without experience.

It's easy to imagine a veteran rogue with only experience fighting a trained young swordsman. If a duly trained swordsman was completely inexperienced in action, the rogue could win. But what if the swordsman had some experience? Isn't it likely that the swordsman side will win?

Experience and skill were the two wheels of a car, considered that only one of them could measure strength, and was a set object.

(The magician means that his experience has reached level 10 and his magic and magic skills have reached level 10. So you're finally a recruit... I don't know if it's too early or too late to recruit in two days... do a mock fight with Ashley to make sure)

But he didn't understand why Ashley was surprised.

Sure, level 10 is the equivalent of a recruit, but when I signed up two days ago, there was only one level. It takes a month, no matter how early, to tailor a total amateur to a recruit who can stand on the battlefield bent over. It also makes less than ten "real recruits”.

His level of ten hits the same level as a soldier who has completed more than a few months of training and has gone through his first line. In just two days, that level has been reached is nothing but an anomaly.

Ashley was wondering if that was really all she had in her arms.

And they suddenly looked at each other and said, "" Let's see! "" and headed for the backyard.

I started a mock fight in the backyard, but Ray's movements were very much the same as they were this morning.

He was relieved that his movements were not very different from his own in the morning.

(Combat experience means we have to dive through the dead line. It's not the world of games, so the numbers aren't absolute...... I was so reminded yesterday that I didn't want to move in training and in action...... Conversely, it would still be the strength of the recruits, but there is room to be stronger. Never mind the numbers)

Meanwhile, Ashley was confused.

(Even though the level has risen rapidly, the movement hasn't changed that much. Though training and actual combat are different, if you come to this level, it doesn't make such a big difference...... is it the effect of amnesia? Either way, in Ray's case, you can't help but care about the level)

The two concluded that they did not need to be held to a level for separate reasons.

After that, it was lightly aligned until dinner.

From the next day, Ray actively took up the crusading system's request.

Besides beast systems such as rock pigs and big fang monkeys, he also underwent the crusade of Giant Leach, a mushroom demon Fongs, a giant hill three meters long.

And he was also striving to use as little magic as possible during that crusade to improve his spear and sword skills and his experience in melee.

As a result, seven days later, the level was thirteen.

Magic also underwent daily research, and there was also an increase in original magic, such as ”flash”, the magic of light, and ”mud”, the combined magic of water and earth.

The two of them were always acting together, and gradually the surroundings were also starting to take for granted that this combination was always with them.

Ten days later, on April 12th, Ashley is contacted by a mercenary guild after Ray becomes an adventurer.

I was contacted to show my face to the guild that the compensation that was in betrayal had been finalized. The next day, Ashley decided to head to the guild with Ray.

The two left the inn later than usual, walking as they always talked as they headed to the mercenary guild.

"By the way, did Ray decide? Thank you from the Alliance."

"Oh, I knew I'd make it cash. I'm going to get my guild's offer."

At that time, I can call from behind.

"Ashley, you look good."

Looking back, a man of early thirties adventure-style stood with a songknife, Simitar, lowered on his hip.

The man tied his dark hair behind him and had a deep, gypsy-like carved face with shallow black skin, a man who seemed to be anything but a woman.

Ashley looked disgusted for a moment, then looked back,

"Long time no see, Theron. Now if you'll excuse me."

"Don't say that nonsense. It's me and you..."

so as to block that word,

"Shall I not say it in a misleading way? Your relationship with me is just (...) between adventurers in the same city. Ray, let's go!

She didn't even try to hide her grumpy look, but tried to pull Ray's arm and walk away from the spot.

But the man called Cylon,

"Is that your“ man ”? Looks like you drowned a pretty good boy. Well, in the meantime, I don't like it, but I'm gonna do it to my girl."

Theron says so and then walks away from them.

Ray didn't know what to do.

"Who's that now? He didn't feel right..."

"He's a fourth-level adventurer named Cylon. I don't have a bad arm, but I have a personality... I don't know why, but I'll tell you. I hate guys like that. I have clearly said no many times... but it still sticks with me"

(Stalker or... I guess a quaternary adventurer means he's quite capable. I guess Ashley's saying "arms aren't bad” is a pretty good user)

"Take care of Ray, too. He's the one who does the illegal wrestling."

He was sympathetic that he was being followed by a troublesome man.

(Well, there's an orb for whatever it takes, so you won't be setting up any criminal activity. If I have to, I just need to get out of this city...)

He wasn't taking it too seriously at this time.

Even in Japan, where police organizations are in place, the damage caused by stalkers continues...

The mood sank, but after a short walk I reached the mercenary guild.

When you apply to see the Cutler Branch Manager, you will be put through to the Branch Manager's office in about five minutes.

"I'm sorry it took so long. Finally, the compensation for you has been finalised. Thousand C (krona). The mercenary who registers for the guild, not the client" Client, "made the headquarters of Fonce - the King's Capital of the Kingdom of Lax - reluctant. I'm sorry..."

"No, you can't say I wasn't alert either, it doesn't matter"

"It would be helpful if you could say that... the bandit's bounty combined with the purchase of equipment is one thousand and five hundred C's. This is within the discretion of the Morton Branch, so I put some color on it."

Ashley thanked the branch manager and received a leather bag containing gold coins.

Cutler Branch Manager turned to Ray,

"By the way, Lord Ray, about the gratuity from the guild, have you decided on a request?

"I'd like to ask you for cash if possible..."

"Got it. Let's hang on to HQ so we can give it to him whenever possible. I'm sorry, but it'll take about ten days."

At the end of the conversation, when I tried to get out of the room, from the branch manager,

"I wonder if Lord Ray is willing to be a mercenary. If you're enrolled in the Adventurer Alliance, the process is simple."

"So far, demons and beasts are better than human opponents... sorry"

He bows his head gently and leaves the room.

(Exactly. I can't kill people. If it's to protect yourself, I'm still not used to “killing” enough to make it into a profession. Besides, people don't want to hurt you as much as possible......)

He wanted to be strong and vowed to abandon Japanese common sense, but he couldn't help but feel hesitant about killing people, pointing weapons at people.

I didn't plan to take the request today because I went to the mercenary guild and my time would be halfway there. But besides my thoughts, I ran errands early, so they had plenty of time.

Ray never came up with anything in particular, but when Ashley,

"Do you want to take a stroll in the city because you have time? Before you do, I need you to keep this money because it's a mess."

He says he figured it out, goes somewhere less shadowy, and puts a leather bag in the item box.

(Sure, it's safe, but I need to hide in and out for a while, that's the neck)

The two then stroll through the city.

Neither did Ashley, who lived in this city for a year, seem to have taken an active stroll through the city, explaining to him, but walking through the city with a sometimes impressive look.

Heading into the city centre - a residential area on the top of the hill - there were small shops that were different from the commercial district on the south side.

In narrow alleys there are many grocery stores for residents and grocery stores selling clothes, accessories and other household items.

The voice of the father of the prestigious fishmonger, the beautifully arranged colorful vegetables and the bakery that smelled delicious were just walking, but the two enjoyed themselves enough.

(On second thought, date? What? First date???? I got nervous all at once......)

He had never dated a woman before and of course never had a date.

(What am I supposed to do? Just be normal, okay? I wonder what Ashley thinks?

It had nothing to do with that, and she suddenly looked at Ray, whose face turned red, and said, "What's up?" He asked. In contrast, he just shook his head and no words came out.

Worried about the way it was, as she approached his face, he became even more red.

After he said, "It's okay, because it's nothing," like changing the subject,

"I've been wondering, what's that big windmill for?

"Oh, that one? They say that's pumping up water. I heard they pump water up on the hills and supply drinking water to the city"

They say there's a large reservoir behind the baron's mansion on the hill that uses it as a water source to supply water to each district. By the way, the sewer is also in place and there is no smell for a European-style town, but he was unaware of it.

The two headed for the commercial district.

Because Ray said he wanted to go to the weapons store, but Ashley doesn't know why he wants to go to the weapons store, especially since he doesn't have anything to buy.

"I know you and I have enough weapons, but why bother going to the weapons store?

He just wanted to go to the weapons store that often comes out in the game because he would be aware that he was walking normally, because he thought he should go to an arms store that had a common topic and because it's a fantasy world in the corner.

(I just want to see it, is it weird that it's because I want to see weapons? Tell me the right reason)

"The spear I'm using is too good, I don't know if my arm's up. I was wondering if I could take a request with a regular spear..."

"Is that what you mean? You might want to go through a lot of weapons. But don't feel like you're wasting it."

Ashley also agreed with me, feeling like passive approval.

When you enter the weapons store, there are a variety of swords, spears, axes, sticks and more lined up inside.

In a store full of iron, oil, skin and other odors, he looks at them with interest.

(Seeing these things, I think I've come to a really fantastic world. Not in the way you take care of it like it's in a museum, but oiled blades for real life make my heart jump just watching. I really hope this doesn't kill each other......)

From behind the store came out a disappointing human man, such as a blacksmith, even in his mid-forties.

"What are you looking for? If you tell me, I'll take care of it."

Ray couldn't just say he wanted to see it.

"Can I see the spear? Something this long."

Say and show his spear "Albumcorne" in your hand.

blacksmith - Morris Sheridan - as he looked at that spear,

"Do you even need a repair? Yeah? Can I see that spear for a second?"

Morris noticed Ray's spear was quite a business and seemed interested.

Ray hands Morris the spear with the look of having no choice.

"Ugh! What the hell, this weighs! Are you sure you can use this?

His spear: Album Cornu, like Armor: Nixwestis, depicts a demonic formation of weight loss that, as long as he has it, can be used with the same weight as a regular spear. But it actually weighs as much as fifteen kilograms as a few times the weight of a regular spear.

"Yeah, I can use it though. If possible, I'd like a light spear, so I'd like you to show me a regular spear."

When Morris returns Albumcorne, he brings a spear called Shortspear with an eartip of about twenty cm from the back.

When Ray received it, he shook lightly.

(That weighs as much as the spear you're using. I guess you're saying that the magic of weight loss is working pretty well. Just chill today, let's stop buying)

He says, "I'm just here to see it today," and returns the spear.

Morris, unfortunately, stared at Albumcorne before

"If you need to take care of that spear, bring it to me. No, let me do it."

"I don't mind... next time, please"

The two left Morris' shop intact.

He left behind,

(That spear is not at the level to say what a business is. Artifact, yes, it's a divine spear... but who is that young man? It was Ashley we were with...)

He has been a blacksmith for over thirty years but was the most amazing weapon he has ever seen. He was whining to himself, "What I want you to touch carefully next," he said.
