Trinitas Mundus

Episode 40: Raiders

Late on the night of May 8, Theron Greaves reached the shore of Lake Turbide, where he found eight men surrounding the burning fire.

Of the eight, four have bows and are closer to hunters than mercenaries. All four others hung their swords on their hips and three had shields.

He tells his name and says, "Are you the helpers in this one?," he said.

A swordsman and the only man without a shield nodded,

"Everyone but me will follow your instructions. I'm supposed to go back to the report when I explain to you where I work."

Theron nodded, "So, where is it?" and prompt ahead.

"It's Lake Drameny in Rattley Village. I'm on that southwest lake shore. Don't use the streets because the guards might be out there. In the woods, but these guys know the way."

The man takes out the elongated wrap and passes it to Theron.

"They told me to give this guy to you."

When Cylon opened that wrap, a wave of songknife Simitar came out.

Theron shook the spotter gently, "There is. It's better this way than the long sword." The man ignores it,

"We're planning to rendezvous with you two more at Lake Drameny. With any luck, there must be another one, a helper, going. You know magicians, too."

That's all I said, the man ran north.

(You think he's a magician you know? Who are you talking about? Fair enough...... but you walk in the woods again......)

Cylon and the seven men turned from Lake Turbide to Rattley village and began walking east through the woods.

Sometimes in the deep woods of late night, he hung more than 10 km for more than five hours and arrived at Lake Drameny shortly after dawn.

On the evening of May 8th, Zambrotta Azaro, bishop of the Light Divinity, was taking the streets east with two men introduced to the blackmasked woman.

He was starting to act as soon as he left Kara's store. After passing through the gate with no one to be done by the defense team and escaping the city of Morton, he was aiming for Lake Drameny.

On the way, a horse-like ride passes, but I was lucky enough to spend some time lurking in the woods, and then it was just so different from a few wagons, I had no problems at all.

Arriving near the village of Rattley before sunset, continue straight into the back of the woods for about twenty minutes and lurk near the shore of Lake Drameny.

Two men told me that Azaro would wait to hear from me once here,

"Should I wait here? You can bring a fake saint here named Ray Arklight."

"That's what I hear. If we don't hear from him, he says to stay here until tomorrow morning... until then he says to protect the bishop..."

Giving a glimpse to a man talking to Boso,

(I don't know how to do it, but if you wait here, he'll come through. Fair enough. When he comes, he only imposes divine punishment. Dark time at night, tomorrow morning, God bless time is more convenient......)

Azaro was depleted of magic because of the magic he used during the day. He entrusted the men with his protection and he quickly fell asleep, dressed himself in a prepared blanket.

Shortly after his arrival at Lake Drameny, Theron heard a dry bursting sound called Pern, "What, what's that now?" and looked around. But when we realized that there was only ourselves or the Rays in this place, we immediately headed to the place.

The sound was heard from them and from the eastern lake surface, and they proceeded early enough to sound along the shore of the lake.

Walking for about thirty minutes, the sound of a docin 'like a tree being knocked down sounded many times, with a slight male and female screaming in the wind.

(Definitely. It's Ray and Ashley...... I'm talking about fighting big guys, what are you up to? Just fine. Fight the demons and hang on to tired spots to increase your chances of winning. Well, I don't care if the demons are killing me...)

Theron puts the hunter-style archer ahead, and we ourselves proceed carefully after him.

I heard a noise from the woods called Dawn or Gashan. And the voices of men and women become clear.

"Okay, it's near here. We'll wait here until that noise quiets down."

Theron commanded the men to do so, bringing them to the trees, and began to take rest.

(The magician won't come, but it won't be a problem. Two over there, eight over here. I don't know about these guys' arms, but I have four archers. Neither Ray nor Ashley has a shield, so it helps enough. Include me in the three shielded men, four to two. I'm tired over here, but I'll be tired over there. If it works, you may also be injured...)

The attack seemed to have continued for more than thirty minutes, but the sound was finally interrupted.

Theron gave the men quiet instructions and slowly approached them.

He was surprised that Ray and Ashley had defeated a large serpent demon, possibly a form of serpent dragon, Serpent.

(Snake dragon! Did they just take him down? So many arms...... or are there other allies......)

He looks around and sees if there are any other shadows around him.

But there were no signs of people, and neither did Ray or Ashley speak to anyone, immersed in the joy of the two of us defeating the big man.

(Damn!... you guys are the reason I fell to the bottom...)

Theron has a full smile that he'll never see, and Ashley, who is happily hugging Ray, can't forgive him, bites his back teeth tight and tight.

And that jealousy makes him act in vain.

He approached the two of them trying to return to the village quietly and spoke from behind.

"I'm still in trouble if you go home."

I was surprised at how he looked when Ray said, "Theron?!," said Ashley,

"Weren't you escorted by Fonce? Why are you here..."

"I'm here to pay you back what I owe you. Do it!"

At the signal of Theron, four arrows fly towards the two of us.

The two, who were surprised by the emergence of Theron, acted only slightly, but late.

Arrows pierce Ray's left arm and Ashley's right arm.

They both said at the same time, "Ugh!" He groaned, and fell to his knees.

Aiming for that gap, Cylon pulls through the song knife Simitar and hits the two of them.

Three more men with long swords also came running from the woods.

Ray told Ashley, "Let's shield the body of a snake dragon," running across the body of a giant snake dragon wrapped around a tunnel, pulling through an arrow.

If Cylon was calm, he would have been settled for an ambush by an archer.

The seven men say nothing, but they were angry at Theron's unselfish behavior. However, we wasted time denouncing that reckless behavior and moved each to the position where we would be most advantageous in order to launch an attack on the Rays.

Ashley also follows Ray and begins to shield Snake Dragon's body. The second shot hits the body of a snake dragon, but only the sound of it being played on a hard scale is echoing.

Ray hung a cure on his painful arm and also tried to hang a cure on Ashley, but Cylon approached him faster and he couldn't hang a cure on her.

"It's a waste. This one is many times as numerous as you. I'll kill you. Ha ha!

Although Ray was concerned about Ashley's arm, he started waving his spear to stop Theron.

And soon three swordsmiths appeared and became a four-to-two mix-up.

Ray keeps Theron down, so best of luck, Ashley has been wounded on his dominant arm, so he can't make the usual sharp attack.

Ray was desperate to figure out how to get through this situation, waving his spear.

(There were four arrows. That means there are at least four ambushes. In conjunction with the four of us here, eight to two. Running away doesn't make you run away without sealing your bow...... what do you do? Damn, I can't think of a good idea......)

Ashley was also figuring out a way to break this situation while sheltering her painful arm.

(If it's just Ray, can you get away with it? No, you won't, and you won't run away without me... plus four or five archers. If you move around, you shouldn't hit so hard, but in this situation it's hard......)

Theron was aware of his own failure not to ambush him. But as things stand, the two Rays don't even make it, and they don't think it's such a big mistake to be on the defensive side.

(The only trouble is Ray's magic. But if you keep attacking him like this, you don't have to fear his magic either)

Between Cylon and Ray, a duel six months ago had been recreated.

Though Theron is not his favorite song knife, he overwhelms Ray with maneuvers just as he did during the duel.

Meanwhile, even though Ray was tired of fighting Snake Dragon, he could afford it more than he did during the duel.

It's only been half a month since the duel and it's not like he's gotten significantly more skilled. But it was great to have experienced battles with forest wolves and serpentine dragons and to have grown spiritually.

Furthermore, he had also been afforded the song knife Simitar used by Cylon, which was subtly different from his favorite, and thus had not become an attack targeting steeples in millimetres, like during a duel.

(Not more accurate than before. Ash is two-on-one, one of his enemies can't get close, if we don't do something about it now... magic that can be activated in a short time...)

Ray continued to be subjected to Theron's fierce series of attacks and went on to fight back where Theron loosened his hand slightly.

Set his spear, Albumcorne, to spin overhead, swinging it down from the top to slay him. Theron avoided that sharp attack by lowering it back and was preparing for his next attack.

Furthermore, as he protrudes the lowered spear toward Theron's feet, Theron plays with a song knife and avoids the attack as well. However, because of the motion, there was a slight spread of time with Ray.

(Chance!

Ray uses that moment of time to accumulate the power of the Spirit in the magic formation of his left hand.

Theron went fleshy on him, tongue-in-cheek about giving Ray time.

Ray flushes the power of the accumulated Spirit into the spear without letting his left hand go of the spear.

The tip of the spear wrapped itself in a dazzling light, and when Ray waved the spear, the men it was in the position to see were blinded by the light for a moment.

Theron glances away, but the men who were fighting Ashley were distracted only for a moment by the glowing spear they saw for the first time, creating a slight gap.

Ashley didn't miss that gap. Ignore the painful right arm and wave down the great sword toward the right arm of the man standing to the left.

The man's right arm was slashed off with the sword he held, and the man squatted on the spot groaning.

The man next door was surprised that his buddy's arm had fallen, and retreated slightly.

Ashley shook up the sword she shook down with one left hand and put a fencing-like thrust into the man.

The thrust itself did not have the usual strength, but her sword plundered under the man's throat. Shortly after that, bright red blood was erupting from the man's neck.

The man notices the blood erupting from his neck, lets go of his sword, and hurries to press his neck, but the blood continues to erupt from between his fingers, quickly collapsing from his knees without force.

Ray was also launching a series of punches at Theron.

The appearance of the two of his companions being defeated caught his eye and made him slightly weaker, Theron retreated cheating from the spear range.

The third swordsman was entering the scene and adding a sharp slaughter to her in the sight of fatigue, as Ashley's front was vacant.

The archers were also gradually moving and watching the opportunity to release arrows so that they could target the Rays hiding behind the body of the Snake Dragon.

Theron had commanded the archers, yelling.

"Why don't you just cover me! Turn around! You don't have to hit me, let me make a gap!

Theron is going to wait for the Archers' backup to decide on the female male and will focus on interrupting Ray's magic.

"If you don't have magic, you're not my enemy."

"I sure am. But if you can use magic, admit I'm stronger!

Ray tells off as he mocks Cylon, who is approaching to strike again in a row, sticking his spear out against Cylon's face. Then, using the remnants of the Spirit's power collected earlier, he stretched the spear's tip slightly.

The difference of just a few cm in length is huge for the cellon to avoid in critical time.

He is surprised that the tip of the spear, which he should have cut off, has stretched, and tries to avoid it even more, but the blade of light relentlessly approaches his face.

"Ugh!" screamed the blade of light eating into Cylon's neat face.

The blade pierces his right cheek and scratches ugly.

Ray tried to add a pursuit to the stopped moving Theron, but declined because the archer's arrow, which secured the ray, had poured down.

Theron retreated into the gap.

The Archer's attack is aggravated by the radiation in Theron's retreat.

Behind Ray, Ashley is fighting, but the wound hurts, there is no glory in the movement.

(Awkward. If I avoid it poorly, it hits Ash. We need to disable the archer......)

With Cylon retreating, no more enemies before Ray.

The falling arrow was slapped down with a spear, and the arrow, which could not be slapped down, had been received with armor to prevent it from flowing behind. Several arrows enter the armor gap, hurting his body, but moving the place one by one, regardless.

Then, when he gets to a position where no arrow hits Ashley's back, he stops knocking him off with a spear and creates an arrow of light.
