In the palace not far away.

Ian Shelby and Jocelyn reviewed Taylor’s self-reflection, written with great sincerity, the handwriting neat and tidy, expressing apologies to both his brother and sister-in-law.

As an author, Jocelyn Morgan had a strong command of language, and she thought this letter of remorse had a certain level of quality, revealing Taylor’s heartfelt emotions.

So at this moment, she completely forgave the young boy in her heart.

"How about...you just forgive him?"

Ian Shelby sat in the chair, holding the letter of remorse, looking at it over and over again. Jocelyn leaned against him, nudging his arm with her waist, and continued, "After all, you’ve already forgiven him in your heart, it’s just your stubborn mouth holding back."

Listening to her gentle and pleasant voice, Ian recalled the scene they performed just recently in bed using Taylor as an excuse. To be honest, his mood wasn’t so bad anymore.

He set down the reflection letter and gently pulled the girl by the hand. Jocelyn turned around and sat on his lap, gazing into each other’s eyes within an arm’s reach.

She slightly lowered her head, her ebony hair perfectly hiding her cheeks. Her nose like jade, her dense, feather-like dark eyelashes, all made the man more and more addicted the longer he looked.

Ian couldn’t resist cupping her cheeks, uncontrollably kissing her lips.

The royal physician, upon leaving Prince Taylor, went straight to the king’s palace, pondering deeply along the way.

Arthur, at the door, greeted respectfully, "Good day, your majesty’s physician."

"I came to check on the King, how is his health?" The royal physician bore a benevolent expression.

"The King is well, he’s in the study reviewing files. Do you have urgent matters, or just here to see him?" Arthur said, "The King just went in; if there’s no appointment, you might have to wait a while."

"No rush, no rush, I’m just here for a look." The royal physician replied with a smile, "I have time, I can wait."

Then Arthur had a servant make some tea for him, and the royal physician indeed sat on the sofa to wait.

In the not-so-far-off study, the door was closed. The king, having just taken his medicine, felt his body recover somewhat, and his mental state improved greatly.

The antidote’s effect seemed to possess a touch of magic power.

He sat at the desk, a notebook computer open, his hand holding the mouse, reviewing the documents on the screen meticulously.

About an hour later.

The long-waiting royal physician outside heard footsteps and quickly rose to turn and look, "Greetings, Your Majesty." He bowed respectfully.

"You’ve come?" The King, leaning on a dragon-head cane, walked over.

"Your Majesty, you look quite well these days." He expressed joy, a smile on his face, "The body feels much better, doesn’t it?"

"Indeed."

Contemplating a moment, the royal physician wished to go straight to the point, but the King turned to the view outside the door and said, "The weather is nice, would you accompany me for a walk?"

Isn’t this an opportunity?

"Surely." The royal physician hurried forward a few steps, thoughtfully supporting his arm, "Your Majesty, be careful."

"I’m doing alright, not so fragile, recovering faster each day, barely bedridden during the day anymore." The King smiled, appearing in good spirits, "Only I’ve been looking at the computer too long just now, need to go out for a walk to ease the fatigue."

"One must balance work and rest, health is most important." Accompanying by his side, the royal physician maintained a constant smile on his face.

Soon enough, the two walked out of the palace, entering the verdant gardens, surrounded by chirping insects and birds, the fragrance of flowers wafting, refreshing the spirit.

"Your Majesty, there’s something I’m unsure whether to say." The royal physician hesitated several times, showing a troubled expression.

The King’s voice was gentle and calm, "Speak."
