In the room, Lin Guo’er was waiting for Lin Kuang. When she saw him return, a smile blossomed on her pretty face.

"I thought you weren’t coming back," Lin Guo’er said with a smile.

"How could that be? Did you miss me, my dear Guo’er?" Lin Kuang couldn’t help but ask with a grin as he looked at the sexy, alluring woman.

"Yes! I’ve missed you to death! And you’re only just getting back, making me so sleepy already," Lin Guo’er said coquettishly. Her cloying, saccharine voice nearly gave Lin Kuang goosebumps.

"Just talk normally. You’re giving me goosebumps all over," Lin Kuang said, feigning annoyance.

"No way! I like talking to you like this. Don’t you like it?" Lin Guo’er continued to act coy with a smile.

"Alright then. You just wait here for me. Soon, you’ll be too breathless to talk like that!"

With that, Lin Kuang turned and walked into the bathroom.

Seeing this, Lin Guo’er couldn’t help but giggle; she was just teasing him on purpose. Besides, now that they were alone together, away from everyone else, she was incredibly happy. It wasn’t that she disliked her other sisters, of course, but what woman wouldn’t be happy to have some alone time with her man? Lin Guo’er was certainly no exception.

Not long after, Lin Kuang emerged from the bathroom. His strong, powerful body was completely bare, a sight that made Lin Guo’er blush.

"How shameless," she said, her face flushed.

"Hehe, there’s even more shamelessness to come!" Lin Kuang said with a mischievous grin.

He walked over to the bed, scooped Lin Guo’er into his arms, and without another word, captured her red lips in a passionate kiss. Lin Guo’er offered no resistance. After all this time, they knew each other intimately. Besides, this was a time for enjoyment, and that was all that mattered.

The two rolled around on the bed. Gradually, Lin Guo’er’s clothes were shed, and they embraced, doing what lovers do. In an instant, the sounds of their pleasure filled the room, an intensely tempting melody.

Tonight, Lin Kuang was particularly fierce, so much so that Lin Guo’er could barely handle it. This was, of course, intentional on his part. He wanted her to tire out quickly and fall asleep early so he could go out and hunt the Blood Clan. He had no intention of telling her about this, wanting to spare her the worry.

After three rounds of frenzied passion, Lin Guo’er could no longer endure it. Lin Kuang was usually gentler, which she could handle, but today was different.

"You bastard, you’re killing me," she said, lying exhausted in his arms.

"Not at all. I’m just really excited today. Besides, you’re so enchanting, Guo’er, I couldn’t control myself," Lin Kuang said with a playful smirk.

Hearing this, Lin Guo’er shot him an exasperated glare before snuggling into his embrace, closing her eyes, and falling asleep.

Once Lin Guo’er was sound asleep, Lin Kuang didn’t rush to leave. He waited for another ten minutes or so before quietly slipping out of bed. He got dressed and checked the time. It was just past one in the morning, the perfect moment to set out.

With that, Lin Kuang tiptoed out of the room to avoid waking Lin Guo’er. He took the elevator down to the ground floor. After a quick word with Zhang Tianshun, Lin Kuang sped away in the Mercedes, heading for the Blood Clan’s gathering point in New York.

Britney, this is all I can do to help you for now. I hope it will be of some use. Lin Kuang thought as he drove.

About forty minutes later, an old castle appeared before him. The castle wasn’t massive, but it wasn’t small either. It could comfortably accommodate dozens of people, though it was certainly small compared to truly ancient fortresses.

Looking at the castle, a murderous intent surfaced in Lin Kuang’s eyes, and his expression turned ice-cold. Blood Clan, today you will vanish from this world!

He drove the car into a nearby forest and parked it. At this point, he was still several miles away from the castle. Getting out of the car, he blended into the night and raced toward his destination.

Several miles were trivial for Lin Kuang. It took him less than ten minutes to reach the castle walls, and that was while conserving his energy. Otherwise, it would have taken even less time.

Gazing at the six- to seven-meter-high walls, Lin Kuang pushed off with his legs, his body soaring into the air. The next moment, he hooked an arm over the top of the wall and cautiously peeked over.

The castle grounds were silent, with only two male members of the Blood Clan standing guard at the main entrance.

Two Marquises on guard duty, and no one else in sight. Lin Kuang mused after surveying the area.

He decided not to rush in, instead waiting for about five minutes. After confirming there were no patrols, he quietly vaulted into the castle grounds. Lin Kuang landed like a tuft of cotton, making no sound whatsoever.

Hiding behind a rockery, he quietly observed the two guards. If he wanted to get inside the castle, these two had to be eliminated.

At that thought, True Qi surged through his body as he instantaneously pushed his power to its absolute limit. The next moment, he activated Extreme Shadow Illusion. His body became a streak of lightning, rocketing toward the main gate. The two guards had yet to react when they felt a sharp pain in their necks and died instantly. Lin Kuang had shattered their arteries and bones, sealing their fate with no chance of survival.

After tossing their bodies under a nearby staircase, Lin Kuang silently proceeded upstairs. The castle had four floors, and he arrived at the second.

Lin Kuang was in no hurry, planning to clear the castle floor by floor. For him, as long as he didn’t run into the Blood Clan Elder, assassinating the others would be easy. The power gap between them was simply too vast.

Looking at the door to his right, he extended his powerful Perception into the room. Inside was a single Blood Clan member, also a Marquis. In Lin Kuang’s eyes, a Marquis posed no threat whatsoever.

With that decided, he instantly pushed the door open and entered. The Marquis inside naturally sensed someone entering, but before he could even utter a word, a flash of cold light pierced his throat. In that instant, the Marquis died.

Seeing the dead Blood Clan member, Lin Kuang didn’t break stride. He closed the door and moved on to the next room. Thus, the slaughter in the dark began, as one Blood Clan member fell after another.
