Chapter 218: Scram, He Is Mine
Before Damian could do anything, Cassandra stepped forward and spoke in a calm, icy tone. "Scram."
Damian froze. "Excuse me?"
Cassandra did not look at him.
Her eyes stayed locked on Ravion. "He is my ex-fiancé, so he is mine."
Ravion’s expression darkened slightly, while the three cultivators behind him exchanged glances.
Damian rubbed his chin. "Cassandra, I fully support beautiful women taking revenge, but that pretty-faced bastard looks annoying. I can cut him for you."
Cassandra’s voice became colder. "Did I ask you to?"
Damian paused.
The [Queen Sword] hummed in her hand.
HUMM...
Only then did Cassandra glance at him from the corner of her eye. "Like I told you, he is one of the people who made my life like this. He is one of my revenge targets. Do not intervene."
Damian looked at her for several breaths.
Soon, he sighed.
He understood what she meant.
He rested the [Crimson Thunder Eclipse] on his shoulder and stepped back. "Fine."
Cassandra looked back at Ravion. "Good."
Damian pointed his sword toward the three cultivators behind Ravion. "I’ll handle the small fries."
One of Ravion’s followers immediately exploded in anger. "Who the hell are you calling small fries?"
Damian turned his head and smiled brightly. "You."
The man’s face twisted. "You bastard!"
Damian’s figure vanished.
[Thunder Flash Steps]
CRACKLE!
Before the follower could react, Damian appeared in front of him and kicked him straight in the chest.
BANG!
The man flew backward like a broken sack, smashing into a stone pillar.
The other two followers’ expressions changed drastically.
Damian cracked his neck and looked at them with lazy amusement. "Don’t worry. I’ll play gently."
The two men gripped their weapons, their faces pale.
Ravion’s eyes twitched, but he forced himself to remain calm.
Cassandra stepped forward, the [Queen Sword] hanging at her side.
Her black hair moved in the sword mist, and Imperial Metal sword Qi wrapped around her like a cold silver crown.
Ravion slowly raised his sword. "Cassandra, you really think you can beat me?"
Cassandra’s expression did not change.
Her cold voice continued, steady and sharp. "No. I will not beat you."
The [Queen Sword] left its sheath by another inch.
SHING!
A silver-black sword line appeared in the mist.
Cassandra’s eyes became colder than the blade in her hand.
"I will kill you."
Ravion’s face stiffened for a moment before he laughed coldly. "You still have that same arrogance."
Cassandra walked forward without answering.
The Imperial Metal aura around her grew sharper with every step.
Ravion’s smile slowly faded.
He could feel it.
Cassandra was different from before.
Her cultivation might not have surpassed him, but her sword intent had become cleaner, colder, and much more dangerous.
More importantly, the sword in her hand was not ordinary.
Ravion tightened his grip on his sword. "You think a new sword can change your fate?"
Cassandra’s voice was calm. "No."
Her gaze locked onto him.
"I changed it myself."
The next instant, she moved.
SWISH!
Cassandra’s figure turned into a silver line, cutting through the sword mist.
Ravion’s pupils shrank.
He raised his sword to block.
CLANG!
The two blades collided.
Silver-black Imperial Metal sword Qi exploded outward, forcing the mist around them to split apart.
Ravion’s arm trembled.
His expression changed.
"She’s stronger."
Cassandra did not give him time to think.
Her wrist turned, and the [Queen Sword] slid along his blade with terrifying precision.
SHING!
A thin cut opened across Ravion’s sleeve.
Blood appeared on his arm.
His face darkened. "Cassandra!"
Cassandra’s eyes remained emotionless. "You talk too much."
---
While Cassandra and Ravion’s swords clashed ahead, Damian looked back at the three followers.
The one he had kicked into the stone pillar slowly crawled up.
His aura erupted.
BOOM!
Damian’s brows lifted slightly.
"Oh?"
The other two also released their cultivation.
One was at the Fifth Stage Golden Core Realm.
The other two were at the Sixth Stage Golden Core Realm.
Damian blinked in surprise. "Damn. You small fries are actually intermediate Golden Core cultivators?"
The three men’s faces darkened.
"Who are you calling small fries?!"
"Kill him!"
Their sword Qi rose at the same time.
The first cultivator’s blade turned into dozens of sharp wind shadows.
[Thousand Wind Severing Sword]
The second raised his sword high, and heavy golden light gathered above him like a falling bell.
[Golden Bell Crushing Sword]
The third moved behind Damian, his sword Qi turning dark and slippery.
[Shadow Serpent Killing Art]
Three martial arts attacked at once.
Damian’s expression finally became serious.
"Not bad."
Crimson thunder crawled across the [Crimson Thunder Eclipse].
His Royal Grade sword and Royal Grade martial art gave him an advantage, but these three were not weak idiots.
They were higher in realm, and all of them attacked with real killing intent.
Damian smiled, his eyes growing sharper. "Good. At least this won’t be boring."
Chaos Qi surged into the sword.
[Burning Thunder Sword]
RUMBLE!
Damian swung.
A crimson thunder flame arc tore through the wind shadows and shattered half of the golden bell light.
BOOM!
The remaining force still slammed into his shoulder, making his arm numb.
At the same time, the shadow serpent sword Qi slipped through and cut across his side.
SHING!
Blood appeared.
Damian clicked his tongue. "Annoying bastards."
He stepped forward.
[Thunder Flash Steps]
CRACKLE!
His body flashed between the three attacks.
The [Crimson Thunder Eclipse] descended violently.
BOOOOM!
The first cultivator’s chest split open under burning thunder.
Damian twisted his wrist and forced another slash through the golden bell light.
CLANG!
CRACK!
The second cultivator’s sword shattered, and crimson thunder burned through his body.
The third tried to retreat.
Damian’s eyes sharpened.
"Too late."
[Burning Thunder Sword]
RUMBLE!
A final crimson arc cut through the mist.
The third cultivator froze, then collapsed.
Damian stood there breathing heavily, blood dripping from his side.
"Shit... intermediate Golden Core cultivators are still troublesome."
His eyes suddenly moved.
"Wait a minute."
He slowly turned toward Cassandra and Ravion.
"If those three were already Fifth and Sixth Stage Golden Core... then what stage is that pretty-faced bastard?"
