Chapter 273: Damian Gifts and Runs
Damian did not hesitate for even a second.
He immediately reached into his storage ring, pulled out a thin jade booklet, and tossed it directly toward Mirabel.
Mirabel’s eyes flickered.
Her hand moved almost lazily, catching the jade booklet smoothly between two fingers.
Damian pointed toward it. "That’s my gift for today."
Mirabel lowered her gaze toward the booklet.
Before she could examine it properly, Damian quickly explained, "It’s a copied version of what I personally comprehended from that fist scripture."
Mirabel’s expression changed immediately.
Her eyes sharpened as she carefully examined the jade booklet in her hand.
Damian continued, "Although you’re clearly a little deranged and probably fucking crazy, Elder Mirabel..."
Mirabel slowly looked back at him.
Damian shamelessly continued, "You’re still quite beautiful, so consider it a gift."
Mirabel stared at him silently.
Damian flashed her a bright smile. "Also, thanks for explaining all that King Realm stuff."
He immediately turned around. "Bye."
Mirabel blinked. "Wait..."
Damian was already moving.
Without waiting for another word, he directly fled from the ruined training field, leaving Mirabel standing there alone.
There was absolutely no fucking way he wanted to remain beside this crazy woman for another second.
"Gift delivered. Information obtained. Time to get the fuck out before she remembers she wants to dissect me."
Mirabel watched Damian’s rapidly disappearing back. For several breaths, she remained completely silent.
Eventually, her attention returned to the jade booklet resting between her fingers.
She gently brushed her thumb across its smooth surface.
HUMM...
A faint trace of draconic fist intent immediately responded from within.
Mirabel’s pupils contracted slightly as fragments of Damian’s comprehension flowed through the copied record.
It was crude and clearly nowhere near the level of the true [Primordial Dragon Crushing Fist].
Yet even this incomplete interpretation contained traces of a genuine King Grade martial path.
For someone like Mirabel, who had already grown bored after spending years surrounded by the same scriptures and manuals... This was fucking fascinating.
Her smile widened. "Damian, oh Damian... You really know how to make a woman interested."
Mirabel slowly closed the jade booklet and held it carefully against her chest as though it were some newly discovered forbidden manual.
Her gaze drifted toward the distant disciple courtyards beyond the ruined training field.
For years, she had mostly remained buried inside the Scripture Hall, allowing her Reflection Bodies to deal with the boring matters outside.
Now, however...
Mirabel’s elegant smile gradually turned almost villainous. "It seems... it’s finally time for me to go out."
---
Damian only stopped running once he was far away from the Scripture Hall.
He glanced back over his shoulder, carefully checking whether Mirabel had suddenly decided to chase after him with a scalpel, some suspicious research artifact, or another creepy tool hidden between her books.
Thankfully, the path behind him remained completely empty.
Damian finally released a long sigh of relief. "Finally got away."
He wiped nonexistent sweat from his forehead. "That woman is way too fucking dangerous."
Just remembering how casually Mirabel had talked about dissecting him made his eyelid twitch.
Damian firmly shook his head. "Yeah. I definitely need to spend less time around her."
He had barely finished speaking when a familiar translucent screen suddenly appeared before him.
HUMM...
Damian’s expression immediately changed. "Oh, right."
His fear of becoming Mirabel’s research specimen disappeared almost instantly. "The reward."
After all, he had just gifted Mirabel a copied fragment containing his personal comprehension of the [King Grade Primordial Dragon Crushing Fist].
Even though the jade booklet was only an incomplete comprehension copy rather than the actual King Grade scripture, its contents still originated from a genuine King Grade martial path.
More importantly... Mirabel possessed a fucking 300x multiplier. There was no way the return reward would be ordinary.
Damian immediately focused on the system screen.
A series of notifications slowly appeared.
---
[Gift Item: Copied Comprehension Fragment of King Grade Primordial Dragon Crushing Fist]
[Multiplier: 300x]
[Critical Multiplier Triggered]
[Reward Generated]
[King Grade Primordial Dragon Crushing Fist - Second Fist: Dragon King Splits the Heaven]
[One Hundred Years of Genius Comprehension in King Grade Primordial Dragon Crushing Fist]
---
Damian stared at the notification for several seconds. "Not Extreme, huh?"
He rubbed his chin. "Well..."
His mouth twitched as Mirabel’s unsettling smile appeared in his mind again.
"She was already deranged and crazy from the fucking beginning, so getting Critical is good enough."
His gaze shifted downward.
The moment he properly read the first reward, his eyes widened. "Damn..."
A delighted grin immediately spread across his face. "A second fist?"
He had only possessed the [First Fist: Dragon King Shatters the Mountain] until now.
Receiving the next part directly was already far better than many of the random rewards he could have gotten.
Damian barely had time to celebrate before both rewards activated.
BOOOOOOM!
An enormous torrent of knowledge crashed directly into his sea of consciousness.
Damian’s entire body stiffened as countless insights flooded his mind at once... basically everything about the scripture, whether it was the body, bloodline, or movement.
Everything Damian already understood about the [First Fist: Dragon King Shatters the Mountain] suddenly became deeper, clearer, and vastly more complete.
Mistakes he had never even realized existed became obvious.
Tiny inefficiencies disappeared.
Even the way he gathered draconic power around his fist suddenly felt completely different.
Yet the greatest surprise came from the [Second Fist: Dragon King Splits the Heaven].
Damian had originally assumed it would simply be another independent move.
It wasn’t.
His eyes widened as comprehension continued pouring into his mind. The Second Fist was essentially a continuation of the First.
[Dragon King Shatters the Mountain] established the momentum, draconic force, and crushing fist intent.
[Dragon King Splits the Heaven] took everything created by the first strike and pushed it into an even higher state, allowing the next attack to erupt with terrifyingly greater power.
Damian slowly clenched his fist. "Holy shit..."
A faint dragon roar seemed to echo somewhere inside his body.
His expression gradually became serious. "So this is what a real King Grade martial scripture is like..."
