(WHAT THE HELL IS THIS DAMAGE INCRESAE!?) – thought Maparapara as she checked her HP after receiving the hit just now, realizing how much damage a basic attack just now dealt.
However, the boss monster wasn’t going to let Maparapara rest as it launched itself once again at the slime, who tried in responded parry the strike as the blade slammed into the shield.

(Shit! I’m taking damage even when blocking!?) – thought Maparapara as she unleased [Blood Magic: Blood Bomb], unleashing a bomb projectile in front of her that blown up, landing a solid strike on the boss monster.

(Eh?) – the attack landed, but Maparapara noticed something weird instantly.
The creature for some reason took way more damage than Maparapara thought it should had taken.
However, she wasn’t given a time to question as the boss monster once again started unleashing its barrage of slashes, forcing Maparapara on the total defense with her shields.
But even as she blocked again and again the rampaging barrage, she was still taking noticeable amount of damage.
The slime had several regenerative powers in play, allowing her to somewhat restore her HP after taking these powerful blows... But she knew.
(AT THIS RATE HE WILL KILL ME!) – Maparapara panicked, realized that the boss monster had so much power that it was causing her HP to drop nonstop.
"[TIGER ROAR]!" – Maparapara used the [Tiger Warrior] skill, unleashing roar attack that slow down the enemy movement speed and attack speed, which managed to land a hit on the lava creature, slowing it down to somewhat similar previous speed level and giving the Maparapara a chance to unleash her shield strike with [Tiger Art: Triple Claw], unleashing a shield attack which split into 3 strikes.
However, the boss monster had its counter, the explosion jump, as it unleashed explosion underneath its feet once again to launch itself into the skies, dodging the three towering shields.
"!?"
(How high is he flying!?) – thought alarmed Maparapara as the creature flew way too high.
(Did its skills got upgraded too!?) – thought alarmed slime as she used her ultimate by extending her shield towards the lava creature above her.

From the shield, an energy burst was unleashed which took a form of a tiger which flew right towards the lava monster which was still in the skies.
But Maparapara wasn’t the only one that unleashed the attack.
The lava creature covered both of its blades with several layers of fire, alarming Maparapara as this was the larges amount of fire the creature produced so far.
Before in the next moment, the lava creature swung together its two blades, unleashing one massive slash of fire, which ended up meeting the tiger blast, causing the two strikes to collide and destroy each other, unleashing a massive explosion that instantly made the entire upper area of the colosseum end up covered in thick smoke.
"!?"
(HE FUCKING DESTORYED MY ULTIMATE!?) – thought alarmed Maparapara, before in the very next moment the lava monster was straight up launched right through the smoke.
Maparapara managed to somehow block the attack as the blades slid down alongside the lava creature off the shield’s surface, before then landing on the ground.
Maparapara tried attacking the boss monster as soon as it landed... However, its speed returned to normal, allowing the boss monster to dodge the attack and then quickly ran up the slime’s body, landing several slashes that took off a good chunk of Maparapara’s HP pool, alarming the slime as she rampaged with her shield, trying to try and regain the flow of the battle under her control... But the monster wasn’t letting her to get any advantage, nor it was letting it be caught by her attempts at trapping the monster.
"WILL YOU STOP MOVING!? YOU FUCKING BASTARD?!" – shouted Maparapara as she smashed down her shields, unleashing a massive shockwave attack.
"!?" – but the boss monster backed away, before then quickly closing up the distance and slashing the slime, dealing several critically blows.
"[Poison Magic: Poison Swamp]." – however set up a trap, using the [High Poison Mage] skill, [Poison Swamp] to create a massive puddle of poison that made the lava monster’s feet sink it.
(YOU PROBABLY ARE RESISTANT TO POISON AND WHAT NOT!) – thought Maparapara.
(BUT WHAT ABOUT MOVEMENT RESTRICTION?!)

"[SHIELD ART: REVENGE SHIELD]!" – Maparapara swung her shield and bashed the lava monster across its entire body as it tried to get away, smashing the creature on the surface of the shield, before moments later the skill kicked in, unleashing a powerful blast that deals the damaged based on the damage that the slime girl just received.
Which ended up resulting in single thing.

The lava monster was blasted and send flying across the area as it suffered the portion of the damage it had dealt to Maparapara.
The creature ended up smashing into the wall of the colosseum once again, but quickly gotten up, even after receiving such powerful blow.

"So that is going on." – said Maparapara as she looked at the heavily damaged lava monster.
(This guy second stage is something like berserker mode, isn’t it?) – thought the slime.
(His attack and speed goes up, while the defenses takes extremely heavy hit.)
(Considering how much I’ve beaten him up and how he just took on the [Revenge Shield] at the point-blank range... I can say it with certainty.)
(He is about to die.)
(This mode of his is a freaking last resort kind of thing.)
(Still, I can’t say I’m going great either.)
(He is far too fast for me, he is dodging way too many of attacks and keeps launching counters.)
(And that freaking 100% increase in damage received straight up doubles all the damage he deals to me!)
(Even when blocking I’m still taking some damage!) – thought Maparapara as the lava monster raised up both of its blades, which began opening up and extending.

(WAIT! HE IS USING THAT NOW?! AND FROM THAT FAR AWAY?!)
(SHIT!) – thought Maparapara as she instantly used her [Bastion Will: Heavy Defense], deploying a massive wall barrier over her shields, just as the lava monster swung down its swords, which ended up extending.
It was a whip attack.
However, this attack was too upgraded by the berserker state of the boss monster, making the attacks not only much longer, turning it into the long-range attack.
"?!" – but also making it far more powerful, as Maparapara shields met up with the blades.
The bastion wall she manifested ended up taking heavy damage, piercing right through it and smashing right into the shields, dealing a heavy damage to Maparapara, even though she was defending herself with block type skill.
(WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?!) – thought Maparapara as the boss monster returned its blade to normal, before then instantly rushing to Maparapara who was still recovering from powerful blow.
(FUCK!)
(There is no way I can catch him! AOE! SLOW! ANYTHING!)
(Wait! He maybe expending it too!) – thought Maparapara as she remembered that the boss monster was learning during the fight.
(It may expect me trying to trap it again.)
Maparapara had only few seconds left to think before the monster will get to her.
The monster is smart.
It knows how to fight and counter.
It knows what is dangerous and what to avoid.
The creature is at the brink of death, but it can still kill Maparapra, even with its current damaged state.
So... What now?

The enemy is far too fast for Maparapara to do anything with them without relying on any skills.
Technically speaking, there was no way for her to catch the enemy who was wary of each of her moves as it knew what she would try to do.

The lava monster reached Maparapara and swung its blade, while Maparapara used both of her shields combined to block off the attack.
"[Breaking Smash]!" – Maparapara used her [Mad Berserker] class’s skill, smashing her shields into the ground to unleash a shockwave around her.
But that didn’t really done anything as the boss monster was wary of that possibility, leaping backwards before the shockwave could even reach it.
However, that was slime’s plan.
It wanted the boss monster to focus on the shockwave and not noticed, that every single massive spike on the shield’s surface suddenly opened up, revealing countless number of the gun barrels point at the boss monster.
"?!" – the lava monster realized that it was in danger, but it was too late.
Every single cannon opened fire, unleashing a massive wide range blast that swallowed the entire boss monster.
It couldn’t dodge it... But it endured.
The massive blast of magic which was unleashed from the hidden guns didn’t finished off the monster.
However, is stagnated it, giving the slime girl just a single opening it needed to finish the fight.
"[Cruel Shied: Cruel Knight]!" – Maparapara extended her two slime arms forward and swung down her shields and smashing the lava monster, which ended up unleashing countless spikes from the ground that was manifested by the shockwave, resulting in the metallic floor straight up getting torn apart by the ultimate attack launched by Maparapara.

As for the boss monster?
