Noticing his arm tightening, Bella was taken aback, "Is the wound hurting?"

"No, it’s just that there’s no flesh on your waist, and your bones are poking my hand and it hurts," Damian said.

"Damian!" Bella was speechless. Did he really find teasing her so amusing?

"Just kidding." A faint smile appeared in Damian’s eyes.

Bella decided to ignore him completely and turned her head to the side.

The smile in Damian’s eyes grew deeper as he carried her slowly along a gravel path lined with sunflowers. Unfortunately, the path wasn’t as long as he’d imagined; it seemed like they’d reached the camp entrance in no time at all.

He thought silently to himself, I should have walked even slower.

"Bella, what’s wrong?"

Two assistants and Director Ford had already begun setting up the tent. Sharon was helping with Ethan and Talia, and when she looked back, she saw Damian carrying Bella over and asked with concern.

Ethan also frowned and looked warily at Damian, "Sis..."

Talia looked up confused, "Mommy, Lainey isn’t walking."

Bella’s cheeks flushed red, and she struggled a little.

This time, Damian didn’t insist and let her go along with her movement.

Bella steadied herself on tiptoe on the ground and said, "I accidentally twisted my ankle just now."

"Sis, let me see if it’s serious." Ethan dropped the tent peg he was holding and walked over, and Sharon also came forward.

"It’s nothing, it just hurt a moment ago. It’s much better now," Bella smiled, "Don’t worry."

Upon hearing this, Ethan glanced at Damian again, How could he not worry with this man around? He often recalled the scene when his sister would cry alone in her room during their first year abroad.

This man made his sister so sad and upset, and now he’s back in front of her; Ethan couldn’t let his sister get hurt again.

Faced with Ethan’s hostility, Damian found it curious.

Wasn’t this child quite fond of him five years ago? He used to love mimicking his actions and expressions, but now he looked at him like an enemy.

Bella gently patted Ethan’s shoulder and said softly, "Twisting my ankle is not Mr. Sinclair’s fault, don’t be rude."

"Okay." Ethan shifted his gaze and acknowledged Bella’s words, but he showed no intention of apologizing to Damian.

Sharon stepped in to mediate, "Bella, come sit here, let me look at your foot."

"Godmother, it’s really nothing," Bella said, "I’ve been hurt worse during filming and it was fine, don’t worry."

"No, you have to sit and let me take a look. I won’t be at ease otherwise."

Sharon insisted, and Bella had no choice but to hobble over and sit down on a folding chair.

Sharon examined her ankle, while Talia worriedly crouched beside her, puffing her cheeks as she blew air towards Bella’s ankle.

"Blow-blow, Mommy doesn’t hurt." Her tiny mouth puffed like a cherry blossom jellyfish, incredibly adorable.

Bella chuckled softly and pinched the little girl’s cheeks, "I’m not in pain, so you can stop blowing, or you’ll get dizzy."

"Phew." The little girl used her small hand to support her forehead, already feeling dizzy.

Ethan found it both amusing and endearing, gently holding her, "Talia, if you get dizzy, lean on Uncle’s shoulder."

"Uncle, I’m dizzy." The little girl pouted as she leaned over, looking very delicate and said, "Talia’s dizzy, Uncle has to give kisses to make it better."
