Chapter 646 - 645: Reunion (41)
Always thinking about taking advantage of her little uncle, apart from Talia, you can’t find anyone else.
Bella Acker looked at her love-struck daughter, then said, "Godmother, I’m really fine, I can walk in a little while."
"Yes, it’s just a slight sprain. I’ll get some medicinal oil to rub on you; it’ll clear the heat and improve circulation, and you’ll be fine," Sharon said as she got up to fetch prepared medicine from the medical box.
Since they were out with two kids, the medical box was well-stocked, including mosquito repellent spray and such.
After applying the medication, Bella Acker was ordered to sit aside and rest while the others continued setting up the tents.
Damian Sinclair planned to go over and help but was sent back by Director Ford due to the injury on his hand.
Bella sat, Damian stood, and Talia, being the third idle person, squatted in front of them, looking at one then the other.
Bella lightly tapped her forehead with a finger, "What are you looking at?"
"Looking at Mommy and Uncle, it’s pleasing to the eye." Talia grinned, holding her face with both hands, continuing to stare at the two.
Damian said, "Who’s better looking, uncle or your mommy?"
Bella was speechless hearing this, "Mr. Sinclair, aren’t you bored comparing looks with me, a woman?"
"Can’t a man look good?" Damian raised an eyebrow, looking at her as if to say she was narrow-minded and prejudiced.
"Fine! Mr. Sinclair, you’re the best-looking! In the whole world, you’re the best-looking, happy now?" Bella rolled her eyes at him.
"No, no. Mommy and Uncle’s good looks are different." Talia shook her head, pointing to Bella, "Mommy is a cat."
"And me?" Mr. Sinclair asked.
Talia thought for a moment, then said, "A wolf! Uncle is a wolf."
Hearing the girl’s remark, Bella felt a bit jealous, "Why am I a cat and he’s a wolf? Talia, you’re biased."
"No." Talia giggled and jumped into Bella’s arms, beckoning for Bella to lean closer as she wanted to whisper.
Bella cooperatively leaned over, Talia cupped her ears with small hands and whispered, "He’s actually a puppy. I’m just afraid uncle would be upset, so I said wolf. Mommy, don’t tell anyone."
Damian Sinclair... A puppy?!
Bella looked at Damian with a magical expression.
Damian returned her gaze with a blank face, slightly raising his eyebrows, his handsome appearance emanating the aura of a mature, charming, and arrogant man.
"Pfft!" Bella couldn’t help but burst into laughter, giving the little girl a thumbs up, "Talia, your description is spot on." After speaking, she covered her mouth, laughing silently, her shoulders shaking.
Damian raised his eyebrows, feeling that the little girl and Bella didn’t say anything positive about him just now, but seeing Bella and the little girl laughing heartily, he didn’t mind.
Unconsciously, a smile appeared in Damian’s eyes.
Talia, having laughed enough, nestled in Bella’s arms and said, "Mommy, I want to go catch fish, can I?"
"Wait a bit, once uncle is done, he’ll take..."
Before Bella finished speaking, Damian interjected, "Ethan is also a child, taking Talia to the stream without an adult around is unsafe, I’ll take Talia."
"Mommy..." Talia tugged at her arm coquettishly.
The tent would take a while to set up, and the barbecue needed time too, leaving the kids bored with nothing to play.
Bella nodded, "You can, but don’t go too far, understand?"
